She couldn't exactly understand why she was here. Maybe she moved simply out of hunger. The never ending hunger that forever wracked her body and mind. She would stand behind the group, still near the entrance of the alley as the strange creature spoke up to the group. Monster? Was she talking about her? She chuckled at the thought but the word sent echoes in her stomach. She wanted to feed. She wanted to drink deep the blood and corruption of another living being. Reveling in the bloodshed as she drowned in their pungent despair but she held fast to that hunger as she continued to silently listen. She herself drawing no real attention to herself from the distance she was already taking from the group.

"Monster.....huh." she repeated with a dry laugh as she eyed her bandage arm. "Is that....all that I am now?" she asked no one in particular Trapped in an unknown world unable to sate her hatred. The target of her revenge not in this world and thus her purpose lost. All she could do was rot here but even that was futile. She would continue to live on even if her body didn't consume sustenance. Instead she would simply sit here. Wiping her mind of thought and allowing the passage of time to take her. Until the day she vanishes from the world or finds new purpose.

In a nearby alley a woman simply sat on the ground, curled up with her knees against her chest and her hands wrapped around her legs. She sat in the rain, ignoring it as if she didn't fear catching a cold. The water already soaking her tattered clothes and her golden eyes staring absently into the dark clouds above. To any other passerby she simply seemed like one of the many downtrodden homeless that made the darker and more shadier area's their home. In truth that wasn't so far from the truth for someone who had no place to go and return to. She simply sat there without purpose, only turning her gaze to the strange creature upon noticing it's out of place appearance before turning her gaze back to sky and dismissing it's presence.
The shrine with a parasite. [maybe part 1.]
Velvet would walk up to the shrine, ignoring anyone else around. She came here to find a place to sleep and if at all possible she would do exactly that. She walked into the first shrine and if nothing popped out to try to kill her then she would find a place in a corner and sit in it, closing her eyes and hoping that nothing would be stupid enough to wake her up.
The shrine with a parasite. [maybe part 1.]
A beautiful woman wearing ragged clothes wandered through the forest. It had come closer to night and as usual there were no places she could truly sleep. At least, no places that welcomed her, and so she heard about this abandoned shrine that she planned to use as her new base for a time. Of course, upon arrival she would notice the others surrounding it as she cursed under her breath. "Dammit Taylor. You said this place was abandoned." she grumbled to herself before looking around more closely. Why the hell would there be anyone this far out here anyways. The shrine really didn't look like a homely abode.
The Misty Forest
"What in the" she would begin to say before taking a deep sigh. "Another dead end huh." She would pick up the nest, gazing into the fire for a few moments before placing it too into her inventory. "Well, I guess it wasn't a complete waste of time." she would say before turning from that place and wandering further into the forest. If there is noting else of interest after searching then she would simply return to town.
The Misty Forest
Velvet would stare intently at the 5 cracked orbs, as if knowing exactly what their purpose was upon touching them, she decides to hold on to them for now. Considering the only ally she currently had was a woman who could manipulate insects, this could be a great weapon if used correctly. She would walk back over to the chest, kicking it which comically causes it to open as if she had done this a thousands times before. She would peer into the chest hoping to have encountered some sort of clue to returning home.
The Misty Forest
Velvet would no longer waste her time with this creature. The bandages would expand before finally a bursting open. A large demonic red and black claw appeared with an ominous black smoke coming from it. Her glowing gold eyes would eye the creature as it threw the great sword at her and as if it was a fly she simply swatted it away with the claw. As the creature tried to charge at her she wouldn't even pay any mind to it's attack as she simply grabbed it with the claw and slammed it into the ground. No sooner did she begin to feed and as long as there weren't any interruptions she would be done draining the creature of not only its corruption but it's life as well within the span of a few seconds, paying no heed to any of it final death throes.
The Misty Forest
Velvet wouldn't be fazed by her assailants appearance. She would lightly dodge the attack by swiftly moving to its side and deliver a quick flurry of kicks to its legs and waist. Afterwards she would follow up with a quick backwards cartwheel using the blade in her boot as she sliced it and then finished with a quick thrust of her gauntlet clad hand into it's chest with the hidden blade shooting out like a jack as it hopefully pierced the armor with a blade wreathed in flame. A full combo. Of course if the blade fails to pierce she would use the recoil to take distance once again.
