[Hazama would turn his head to face Quintus with a quit dismissive expression on his face. He would wave his hand in a similarly dismissive fashion.] Hazama: “Insects can only go against other insects, and this guy was the bottom of the barrel. I was considering fusing him if something like this were to happen so after you probably kill him, I’ll revive him and do just that. Just don’t get too cocky or I’ll actually show you the best of the best.” [Rowan would recklessly jump right into the newly created hole. He would effortlessly pierce right through the creature eye, making the demon yell out in pain while trying to shake the man off of him, unable to do so once Punk's Crystal Dust lands on his head, leaving a frozen layer all over it before expanding towards the rest of the room. The flying figure would absolutely null the Ice attack, meanwhile the other riding a horse would recoil a bit, not by a weakness but by not being especially strong against it. Most unlucky for Rowan, Balam was still well enough to fight, even if his general shape didn't seem all that good, all things considered.] Hazama: "That’s funny. Guy has a death wish then. Dispose of him already." [As the dust settles, the figures are revealed. The pair of new demons that were inside the classroom are a winged humanoid creature of red skin, with two antennae-like appendages on his head, a long pointy nose and a pointed tail, it was the basic image of a mere caricature devil with a horn sticking out of his crotch; it was the demon of the Night race, Incubus. Next was a armored humanoid figure riding a black horse; his armor was colored red and was wearing a long yellow cape on his back, with a lance in hand and a pair of horns sticking out of his helmet, the eyes looking back at the group are fiercer than those of a wolf; it was the Fallen demon, Eligor. Both new members of the enemy part focus entirely on Rowan. Balam would unleash his Ziodyne on Rowan without hurting himself. Incubus would quickly follow up with Garudyne, forcing the man high up into the air, and finally, Eligor would prepare himself, he would raise up his lance and thrust upwards as Rowan falls with "Hell Fang" (Heavy Physical damage), piercing right through the side of his torso, barely avoiding any vitals almost on purpose. After this combo is done, Eligor would allow Rowan to bleed a few moments more before throwing him at a nearby wall in the classroom. The man should be very badly damaged but not in immediate mortal danger. That is, if the demons don't focus on him again.] Hazama: “Behold! The power of the Deity Emperor! He who commands demons has unlimited power! And this is just a mere taste, bow before me while you still can, vermin!”
"I wouldn't be so cocky as to challenge you directly now. However, I also feel maybe you shouldn't be taking credit for that other guy's recklessness. I was hoping he may be able to finish Balam off first before getting pummeled though." Quintus would begin walking back towards the hole but only close enough to watch Rowan and the demons. Of course, he'd still keep his guard up in case they decided to target him next. "Unfortunately, I can't afford to take up any more energy healing. Well, you got yourself into that mess so let's see if you can get yourself out."
Tot doesn't even attempt to avoid the blast, simply putting her arms up to shield her face, so she'd get hit pretty hard. "O.. Of course they meant well!" Tot answers somewhat shakily, the music beginning to sink its way into her consciousness. Still, she at least remembers what little she'd learned at school. How could someone forget something as terrifying as an atom bomb, especially in the face of actually seeing their results. "I'm an American too after all. I mean.. I wasn't there personally but I know what they wanted. We were trying to make something so terrifying it'd never have to be used. Its just.. Didn't work out." Tot grabs onto the pendant from within her jacket, remembering back to that Stephen weirdo. They wanted to keep watching right? It seemed kinda silly, but it'd be a shame to let them down already. David had something of a point, all that chaos and destruction had been the result of people making poor decisions after all. But that's just it. "I don't think any of them are evil, not the people who were scared of all these changes and decided to take what they can. Most certainly not the people who summoned and work with demons. One of them's my friend!" That would be the child, Penny. They'd said some pretty weird things, but overall they were still friendly and young. A good girl at heart even if that heart was a little lost. "I don't even think you're evil. You're just trying to help in your own weird way. Even your songs aren't really that bad, you've done a great job helping bring out the feeling society wants us to keep inside." At least that's how the girl saw it. Yes David was trying to kill them, but its because he saw everyone else's mistakes and thought to spare us of the pain. There's nothing wrong with that. "You're just wrong! Dore!" Much as before, Tot snaps her fingers, only once this time. She aims a more precise blast of almighty magic not at David, but at that instrument that was giving them all such weird feelings. "If you really want people to be free then you should give them a choice, using your music to help them understand and express their true desires. By forcing people to join you you're no better than any of those other guys. All you're doing is giving us a new set of chains."
The music threatens to put her in a daze once more. In a moment of clarity, she fires a few more times at David. The gunshots are enough to distract her from the haunting melody. Still... she doesn’t know how to handle this. She doesn’t know if she can even fully understand the different sides of humans. But Tot can. And David not being fully evil... “I may not be too knowledgeable about the humans of the old world, but I still have faith in them. And if you want to release us with your music, then I suppose Daisoujou and you aren’t that different. Intentions I understand, but I ultimately say... no thank you.” This time, with feeling, she attacks with the Tundra Seal once more, aiming for the head.

Take steps closer to the hole, rubbing the back of her neck as she watches Rowan getting combo'ed into a bloody pulp, letting out a light sigh. "We've gotta bail him out of this, I'd be surprised if he can even stand upright after that..." She held her hand out, closing her eyes and focusing all her energy into one point until suddenly, sparks started forming in her palm, and after a few moments, she clenched her fist, a small electrically charged aura surrounding her hand. She aimed her fist at the Incubus before throwing a punch through the air, sending the little ball of electricity flying towards the winged demon, hoping to distract it if not cause some damage. "D-Damn! I was just spit-balling, hahah! It worked!" She quickly cleared her throat, trying not to distract herself from the fact that she probably just pissed off a demon really badly.

{As the girl looks at Takeno straying away from Hazama, Penny herself glances at him before leaving and going toward the hole. While Takeno seemed disappointed, Penny actually looked to be giggling a bit.} "That's kind of funny. Oh, but he's one of our friends isn't he? Don't worry, other other Mister!" {She waves over to him, then noticing the little burst of electricity that Takeno shot towards the Incubus. The girl looks over towards her, now pointing at the demons in the hole even though she paid them no attention of her own. Her bugbear almost seemed to be glaring at them as she held him in her arms.} "Woah, that's cool! Miss Lady, maybe both of us should go down there?" {After she inquired her partner, the area around the hole seemed to be condensed a bit before a raincloud formed towards what was left of the ceiling inside the classroom. It loomed over all of the demons, including Rowan. Soon enough, there started to be a sudden downpour inside the classroom, now making it rain around the atmosphere.} "...that seems familiar. And pretty fun. I forgot about rain, tee-hee!" {As the rain was pouring in the classroom, the demons were able to find themselves robbed of their normal speed capabilites. While their agility had been downgraded, Rowan was not impeded by the change in weather and could move freely in the rain.}
The Spell Punk would stare down the hole alarmed at Rowan’s state and groan after taking a good look. “I told you not to call it to soon! I hope you know you know I also can’t afford burning to much of my own magic as well.” It grumbled and tries to hone in on casting a spell more towards the individuals who attack Rowan, once lined up it would let lose a Makajamon Spell on them to try and bide some time but it was not gonna jump down the hole anytime soon to greet death.

Being knocked against the wall, the soldier would struggle to stand up and cough blood into his fist. He would then quickly hold his gun up and take a step forward, assessing the situation and boldly taunting the demons in a hoarse voice evident of his sustained injuries. "C'mon, it's like you're not even trying! And to think, the idiot on the rooftop bragged about being a king of your kind. You're not even fit to be fools!" Rowan would aim in the vicinity of his enemies and unleash a barrage of bullets (Crossfire)
Raidou examines the hourglass, rubbing his chin. Gouto spoke, as he did so. "Guess we beat the others here, including Prima. She must've gotten wrapped up in her own ordeal, too." The summoner nods, and stretches his arms out idly. He didn't see any good coming from setting out all by himself, he was the one who suggested against it in the first place, after all. Though, that plan seemed to fall apart a bit. Raidou shrugged, glancing towards the mahjong tile he'd flicked onto the ground in front of his chosen path. Oh well... Raidou sighed, and decided to give the "New Millennium" book a read-through. This place seemed decently safe for the time being, so better to wait for anyone else to arrive before continuing the adventure.

Ene mimics Tot in shielding her face with her arms, but the blast forces her back. Producing messy scratches all over any visible skin and open spots on her body. The blast hurts yet its the music that leaves Ene reeling. David's music reminds Ene of the potential cruelty of humans that she is all too familiar with. The violence. The selfishness. The madness. She slowly starts to picture the snake in the place of David and ice seeps into her veins. The words of her companions are what bring her back to the present. People can be terrible and not care about what they do to others ... Ene forcibly shakes her head to rid herself of lingering images. But the free will that lets them be mean also lets them be kind! If we allowed you to release us then we would be destroying our own ability to move forward! Electricity surges from within and with a passionate cry, Ene fires a charming bolt.

[The very first thing Raidou sees upon opening the book, he sees a green circular logo on a black page: the outer circle reads within its green above "Community Self-Defence Special Force", and below "Devil Buster Control Organization". Within is a hexagram with the faint silhouette of a Pixie. A corner would also feature the number "2050". The following page, titled "199X - 1992" would start by describing a series of experiments related to a machine specifically referred to as "Terminals" with the ability to transform matter into data that would be then transported from one Terminal to another of the same network, in the hopes of connecting lands faraway from one another in a similar way the worldwide "DDS NET" was able to through data, connecting people in a way never before imagined. The project was led by a man called "Stephen", a brilliant scientist from an English speaking country, in part with the help of a young man named Akemi Nakajima, who in the last few years had designed a series of Handheld Computers, "COMPs", and so for the testing around the city, it was necessary to own a COMP to even have the authorization to access the machine. The project was a success, Stephen, with the help of Nakajima, was able to cross the boundary between artificial and natural.]
To Stephen, it didn't really make sense until sometime later, but Nakajima had been involved with a paranormal incident while he was still in High School. That event, although contained in time, would never leave him, making him increasingly more interested in figuring out how different really are living beings and computers, eventually coming to the conclusion that there was no difference; to him, the spiritual and the digital were no different.
[During one of the tests, a rift into the Abyss was opened. There is no telling if this was an accident or fate itself at play. In this encounter, the strange demon tried to talk to Stephen first, but he could not understand his language, to the which the creature attacked him, forever crippling him and forcing him into a wheelchair, at which point he was taken captive. During October of the year 1992, a man member of the Cult of Gaea, General of the Japanese Self-Defense Forces, Gotou, learned of a secret century long conspiracy staged by the high ranking officers of the Church of the Messiah, their most powerful "ally" being the United States of America. In light of this, he made a deal with the demons and began to slowly but surely summon them all around Tokyo with the usage of the already secret but widespread Terminals. By the night of October 30th, people had begun to disappear all around.]
I remember waking up in the morning and hearing about a girl from school being found dead at Inokashira Park, the entire place now crawling with cops. Rumors had it she was victim of a gruesome ritual. Not a single one of us could have possibly ever imagined the true gravity of the situation. .
[The next pages chronicle the slow descent into madness for the people of Tokyo. Demons would regularly eat people in secret and take their place before infiltrating the families and eating them too; the very first to fall were the police forces who initially investigated the first few murders, all of them were demons or horrible zombies; Gotou had pulled a coup d'etat in extreme opposition to the Americans invading Tokyo to help protect the city. In the course of less than a week, demons were in the streets wreaking havoc.]
Soon enough, a "Resistance" group would rise, focusing on rescuing civilians and, using guerrilla tactics, would actively sabotage the JSDF and American troops so they don't directly fight. They had even gained support from the Kuzunoha clan, who shared their knowledge of demons with the less experienced "Hunters".
[The chapter concludes. The next one is called “199X - Great Cataclysm”.]

[Hazama would laugh away at Quintus sudden display of absolute individualism and a lack of arrogance.] Hazama: "I can see why the Lilim didn't work on you now. At the very least you are a smart one, and that I can appreciate. This game we play would not be as fun with guys as reckless as him, some challenge is always nice, but there is nothing I cannot surpass." [The so called Deity Emperor would initially ignores the pair of girls, especially after the black-haired one seems surprise at her own ability to shoot lightning. But then, Penny's capacity to change the weather would seem to interest him, especially with the actual effect it has and how focused it is.] Hazama: "I had the demons share with me the secrets of their magic and more, but they never had anything like this. Am I missing something...? Can't be, could this girl be also a demon...? She doesn't exactly feel human..." [He would say this with no regards for any of them actually listening, noticing something off when it came to the girl. Regardless of any of this, Incubus, with the now ongoing rain, would be unable to act in time as Takeno's Zio hits; it would seem the water just adds to the effect in general, giving the damage a slight bonus, but nothing Incubus is too worried about. Then follows Punk’s attempt at helping his heavily injured companion with Makajamon; the recently injured Incubus would be forced into a bind, just like Balam who could barely move already, but fails to restrict Eligor, barely managing to avoid the effects of the spell. For a moment, it felt like behind that red helmet, the demon was smirking. Finally comes Rowan’s courageous, or perhaps reckless stand as he unloads his rifle against all enemies in front of him; the guns damage was too much for the bigger Balam, who’s bloodied body full of holes collapses onto the ground, his body becoming pure magnetite that returns to Hazama’s open palm. Eligor would not seem particularly affected by this attack, merely bending his armor in areas, while Incubus’ injuries are a bit more considerable, but not anything like Balam’s.] Hazama: “That is true, Hunter. They have not been trying because I deemed it so, but if you want my minions to show their true capacity, then I’ll use you to set an example for the others. Don’t ever forget, any of you…” [Hazama would crush the magnetite on his palm as it becomes a part of his own self. Incubus would be unable to make a single move, but Eligor was more than enough. The horse-riding demon would rush full speed at Rowan with his lance aimed at the man’s chest; the rain was making it difficult for him to remain on course, but against all odds, despite the clear disadvantage in pulling this off, Eligor successfully pierces right through Rowan’s chest, completely destroying his heart in the process with “Hell Fang”. The demon would twist the lance while still through the man’s body before forcing it out. ] Hazama: “A Demon Summoner is powerful! A Demon Summoner can only control that which is weaker than him! A Demon Summoner’s minions are his power! Then, the Deity Emperor is the greatest of summoners, and those who oppose me will suffer that hunter’s fate. All of you, vermin, who can barely cope with the bottom of the barrel, kneel before your God! Only then will I allow you to leave!” [Both demons in battle would laugh loudly, and so would voices all around them, watching them from above with eyes of all shapes and sizes. Hazama would lower his arms and open his palms, offering them to the group with a smirk of absolute confidence; the high school boy in white was emanating an incredibly powerful aura of dark grey.]

[Tot's Dore hits directly into the instrument, not making any noticeable damage other than making the bullet holes already planted there wider. Then follows Prima with her gun; it’s a headshot, and as soon as it hits, it’s clear it’s a critical hit, making David’s head crack, revealing his empty interior. Finally, Ene unleashes Charming Bolt against the Fiend, dealing an incredible amount of damage, equal to the total amount dealt previously; her body is covered in static for a moment, and unlucky for her, won’t be attacking next chance she gets, her body not used to Heavy attacks just yet. David visibly hurt now but nowhere near close to being defeated.] David: "The true desires of humans are simple, either to become absolutely free creatures that walk over others, or machines that give up their will in the name of a glorious new ideal. Humans always had a choice, and I merely offer an alternative that has the best of both finales. However, if you fail to exercise your freedom then I will choose for you. Dance eternally to my song; feel the freedom and joy it brings, and do not think or worry ever again. Become the source of my power." [Although his violin was damaged now, it could still play one final "Haunting Rhapsody", their attacks not being strong enough to fully damage the violin before the casting, considering the melody's weakening effect. The melody would be intense from the start with images of hatches opening, revealing the head of a missile being prepared to be launched; an ICBM. Cities everywhere are now in almost absolute ruins; the forests are on fire and human corpses in all states now almost seem like part of some sick sense of decoration. The world, engulfed in war, began to shoot missiles at one another, destroying each major city around the globe, and killing an immeasurable amount of people. Then, silence, the violin plays a somber tone as from the ashes of the people, more and more demons emerge. By the time the new millennium arrives, nothing at all remains, but a demon filled wasteland, all dancing with joy as they also kill one another.] David: "The women with blue hair, you two have an incredible affinity to Him. I can see it, and it's so strong I could even taste that wretched essence. More than anyone else, you two are slaves to something. Perhaps your home, no... your loved ones." [David would blast the trio with another Megido, which should hurt quite a bit considering their defenses were lowered to the max.] David: "It would be easier to give it up, to give all of them up. Only then can you attain happiness... that is, if you can even beat me. Perhaps they could even join you in our eternal dance."

Rowan Rowan, Generic Hunter, Non-Persona User. He could count his accomplishments on one hand, and yet, in the span of a second his memories reverberated in his head as he breathed his last. Falling to a void of a dark unconsciousness, his body quickly falls to the ground and lay without motion. Waking up in an unknown space devoid of light and life, the former hunter is left no choice but to blindly walk forward til he stumbled into a small asian child in a gray robe carrying a scythe twice her size. ?: Hi there! My name's Numbah 3! I hope you're ready for your soul to be taken to the afterlife! R: Huh, and here I was expecting scrawny overworked white-haired man 3: Oh, I get that a lot. Now, let's hurry this along. I have to get home and play the newly released Rainbow Monkey Adventure 2: Battle. R: Oh, they made a new one? Maybe once a rom's available for it i'll- It was at this moment that Rowan was interrupted by Numbah 3 inhaling loudly as she raises both her hands in the air before making a slamming motion with them and harshly yelling at Rowan. 3:You wouldn't steal a car You wouldn't steal a handbag You wouldn't steal the trillions of resentful souls that have amassed within the river styx which when consumed would grant an individual immeasurable power comparable to the likes of YHVH Downloading pirated vidya gayme is STEALING, and stealing is AGAINST THE LAW! Numbah 3 then takes her scythe and cuts diagonally through Rowan's torso which begins to leak a red substance which Numbah 3 promptly gathers in the palm of her hands before smiling and skipping off into the distance with it. The once corporeal form which Rowan carried with him into the afterlife quickly dissipated, allowing his soul to rip in peace.
"Hee-Ho, you can do what you want but the truth here is obvious. At the moment we can't win here." Quintus would face towards Hazama. Kneeling was a bit too much but he wasn't about to keep fighting a battle that would likely cost him his own life. He wasn't reckless. "Fine, I concede defeat. It's obvious that as I am now I can't hope to compete with someone like you. Regardless, things won't stay like this forever. I plan to become stronger than I am now, strong enough to oppose the almighty themselves. To those ends I won't kneel but I will admit that none of us here are a match for you."

"Oh, other other Mister is already dead? Aw, that's pathetic." {The little girl says as Rowan gets skewered by Eligor down in the classroom, not at all tranced by his sudden departure from this world. However, the things that he had dropped manages to catch her eye, and she leans over to have a closer look at the hole, noticing her rain still dripping from inside.} "Oooo, Big Sis Tabitha likes sharp pointy objects. And that thing looks like it can make something go boom! Mister, can Penny-" {She turned her head towards Quintus as he decides to put up the white flag, in which she quietly walks over to him, not trying to intervene during his truce before tugging at his sleeve, looking at him with a confused look. Of course, Mr. Bear still hangs by the one hand carrying him loosely, but it seems to be staring past Hazama and the outside again.} "Mister, what's happening again? Penny's not really getting it..."
With her defenses as far down as they can go, and little chance of evading Tot is knocked back against one of the simulation walls. The girl coughs up a little blood as she gets back up. Its hard to see, hard to think a little. But she's still alive. That's what matters. Actually. She starts to smile again, noticing something as she looks in David's hollow soul. "So that's it, you're testing us right? Wanna see how much our freedom is worth. Well if nothing else I think you've learned I'm stubborn as a mule! I don't plan on giving in to you or anyone else! Dore" Tot stands up proudly, snapping her fingers as she aims one more sonic blast at David's violin, hoping to finally shatter that and get the music out of her hands. As she does the girl winks at her blue-haired companions before asking. "Hey, I'm gonna try something really precise soon. If either of you can keep him still or help me with that it'd be great."
The Spell Punk would stare down what was once a hole which now feels much more like a grave pit and give a remark of disgust for a moment as Rowan’s body fell of the pierce of the lance. But then it turned more into a sigh nervousness taking in what just happens. “I..I don’t cover mending or meddling with death I should get out right now. So it seems we’ve lost some weight here and we seem covered by powerful foes all around...” Though a bit accustomed to sight of death as it was hardwired into its mind not to worry on it, yet it still gets tied in such nervous emotions on each one and can never understand why it gets overwhelmed in feelings. Quickly straightening itself up it would follow by Quintus lead and kneel in surrender towards Hazama. Fighting would be pointless in a scenario so skewed as this.
Prima was able to handle the last Megido well, but not so much this one. The Tundra Seal flies out of her hands and she falls, only managing to land on her hands and knees. They'd damaged David, sure, but his song was making them frail as if they had been hit with a Metal Sound. She makes a quick sweep of the room. Both of her companions appear beat up. At this rate, they may need their companion's help... but that gleam in Tot's eyes convinces her to give their little trio one last shot. She smiles back at the musician and pushes herself to her feet. "Very well. I'll give us some speed back. Masukukaja!" She takes a few steps back and lets the spell wash over the trio. She makes a sudden dash to the side to retrieve her weapon.

Ene is tossed by the megido and bounced against the floor a couple of times. Her vision is terribly disoriented after settling on the ground. While some blood seeps from her surface scratches. All of this paired with her body's sudden loss of magic makes her want to curl up and sleep. You better be up to something good. Tot's stupidly heroic words give Ene the push she needs to stand once more. Her body takes a couple more seconds to respond but soon enough the three Tot's in her field of vision combine into one. It's as good as she is going to get so with a final burst of energy she runs to David utilizing the speed given to her by Prima. I'll distract! So you two hurry up with the magicking! Ene then tries to grab at his instrument with as much strength as she can muster.

As Rowan gets skewered she can't help but look on in horror, less at the display of violence and gore, and more just at the complete indifference at most of the team. Figuring she'd best not press it, she swallowed her concern and simply turned to Quintus, raising a brow. "We're throwing in the towel?! Just what the hell has been going on up here while we were in the school..." She charged more electricity in her hand, ready to perform another Zio but not quite attacking, leaving the electricity coiling in her palm in the event that the Incubus decides to to counter-attack.
Quintus would first begin addressing Take. He wouldn't turn his head away from Hazama but his eyes would look in her direction. "I'd recommend you both surrender now unless you feel like dying here up to you really but I don't see too much if a reason to waste my life here. Even if we fight to the bitter end here we'd accomplish nothing and believe me when I say that regardless of what we do we can't stand up to someone like this. Not right now..." next was Penny. He struggled to figure out how to explain things in a way a naive child would understand. "Basically, this guy is the cause of everything that's happened here and if we don't want to end up like the other mister over there then we should be careful about how we talk to them."

["199X - Great Cataclysm". It would begin by talking about the Resistance that had risen quite quickly in the wake of the police falling in less than 48 hours. Initially, it was made up from the surviving members of the Shinjuku Police Station, and some of the soldiers who left Camp Ichigaya as Gotou's coup d'etat was about to happen. In particular, a man simply nicknamed as "Resistance Man" (His real name was "Takaya Nishitani") was the most knowledgeable regarding Gouto's move and was able to coordinate plans in response incredibly quick thanks to his informant friends within the man's ranks. Due to this, they were able to learn of the plan to find a "Yuka" by the command of a Medium; “a woman that was said would be instrumental in stopping Gotou, someone who had an incredible link to the spirit world and equally powerful magic; the strongest mage alive”. Before the JSDF and demons were able to locate her however, they made contact with her, Yuka Takahara, who would then take the position of leader for these newly formed Neutral forces.]
As expected, Yuka had great insight in the way demons worked and how many of them were actually coming into Tokyo at any time, just not how it was happening and from which points. At the same time, she also had an agile mind uncharacteristic for someone her age. "Resistance Man" and Yuka were an incredible team that slowed down both the JSDF and Americans from their inevitable clash, while also at the same time saving innocent people and bringing them into the Shinjuku Underground Mall, which served as a secret HQ and camp for those saved. Eventually, a considerable amount of said civilians decided to join in as "Demon Busters".
[It goes on to describe different operations in the hopes of saving people, most requests from the people that had been already saved, as well as sabotage missions against the JSDF and the American army. Eventually, it describes a small number of "Demon Summoners" helping out the Resistance, who then were even more rare than in "current times". Most were killed by their own demons after showing weakness. Reports would be worrying after a few days, because thousands of women called "Yuka" were being detained and taken to Camp Ichigaya, and something had to be done about this, not to mention members of the Yakuza joining up with the JSDF.]
To make matters worse, Yuka would end up being kidnapped by a woman named Yuriko and was close to being publicly executed through the TV, were it for the quick action of the Resistance.
[After the rescue, it was clear the demons were about to overwhelm the city, and so the Resistance was preparing to leave as quickly as possible. Yuka would go on to face Gotou and Thorman. Both heads of the opposing forces would be defeated by her. At the same time, a small group of Resistance members would stay back as they distract the demon hordes in a suicide mission, from the which no one returned, including the Resistance Man. Not soon after, the entirety of Tokyo was bombarded by the US with a barrage of ICBMs. Yuka and 6 other million died because of this.]
Tokyo was not the only point from the which demons were coming through. The following few months would be characterized by overwhelming assaults all around Japan, and the US would face a war against Russia and many European nations in response to their nuclear attack. Both sides would learn to abuse the Demon Summoning Program, which was necessary to command demons. But these being influence their summoners, and so this catastrophe, the “Great Cataclysm”, was put into motion. The demon invasion and global nuclear war would drop the total population down to 22% by the time the new millennium started.
[The next chapter is titled “2000 - 2020”. Raidou was about halfway done.]

[Hee-Ho would look at Quintus with surprise. Although he wasn't kneeling, he would lower his head and hide it with his cap, or at least tries to, considering his gigantic head. Hazama would smile with both eyes closed as he claps, pleased with Quintus' quick response. It was easy to see for the moment that he was taking this as a group decision right away; after all, none of them could hope to face him on their own.] Hee-Ho: "The Emperor is too str-Ho-ng...! Those who accept their weakness in the Abyss...!" Hazama: "This Jack Frost has some arrogant dreams, perfect for a such a mediocre creature. It makes sense you would have such delusions too, Quintus. All of you should thank him. It seems his ambitions will kill every single one of you. They are nothing without the willingness to sacrifice everything." [Hazama would casually walk up to Quintus and stand right in front of his face. He was shorter, easy to note he was not older than 17, and with a presence greater than that of the pair of demons who had jumped up to the roof, standing behind Hazama, but not close at all.] Hazama: "Look closely and you'll see the strength a human can achieve in surpassing humanity; this is what true power looks like. You are in my realm now, you play by my rules, little toys… and in this world, only the strong can live. By admitting defeat, you have also accepted your execution." [While he was always talking full of himself, this time his tone was dead serious. The eyes above would become red while the previously dark surroundings become crimson, the "sky" almost like flesh, all too like the stomach of Abaddon, At the very least, Quintus should be the one to tell this. Just above them, Almighty magic begins to focus on top of them, creating a small, solid orb with a flame-like aura. It wasn’t hurting them for the moment, but it was forcing them onto the floor. They could try to keep standing but it would be like gravity had become too much for them, like they didn’t have the strength to ever pull themselves up. Taking this opportunity and while the demons from the Abyss laugh, Hazama would force his right foot on Quintus’ face, pressing harder and forcing it to move from side to side, rubbing in the fact that he had easily won.] Hazama: “Game over. Just say it right away and I’ll make it end quickly. That you will never get the power you wish for; you never had any power to do anything to begin with. You are weak, an ant compared to weakling demons, and nothing to a God such as me. That your tomb will be the entrails of my minions.” [The energy created by the orb would increase as it also grows in size. Everyone would find it near impossible to stand up, and at the same time it would feel like their skin was getting burnt, at first feeling like they were standing dangerously close to a bonfire, and then slowly getting worse, like such fire was going to consume them. The effect of this on Takeno was considerably weaker; while the others were suffering, she barely felt anything, and seemed to be able to move more than the rest, maybe even stand up if she put all her might into it.] Hazama: “This is my ‘Sol Smasher’. Say your last words, plead for your life if you must. Perhaps in your next life will you make your pathetic dream come true, all of you.” [The presence of demons all around was overwhelming, but those familiar with those of the Abyss could tell something was off, someone was waiting to see what would happen. They felt like a demon, but this was clear just a part of this being’s nature. Incubus would speak up.] Incubus: “Master, Eligor got his meal, and that girl over there is a total hottie and I got a very nice look through her experiences. I was wondering if-” Hazama: “Do as you please with her, I will allow it this one time.” Incubus: “Thank you, Master!” [The Incubus would lick his “lips” as he slowly flew towards Takeno.]

David: "There is no test but too see how weak you truly are, those unfit to fight shall die. Without any will, you don't deserve the chance to live on... weakness breeds weakness, even nature knows this in eliminating those not fit, even if they are children." [Tot's Dore would luckily hit directly, making the violin's wood crack and open up a bit, with this one attack, it was sabotaged but not damaged enough, and it almost seemed like it was trying to repair itself, the instrument vibrating slightly. Whatever they would try next would certainly be easier with Prima’s Masukukaja, which would return some speed to the group; aside from this, Prima would be successful in retrieving her signature weapon. Finally, Ene would amazingly rush forward to try and take the violin. She is successful, somewhat. She is able to grab on to the violin but is unable to take it away. This, however, does take David by surprise. The Fiend would let out a mere “Ah” as he tries to pull back; Ene’s grip is perfect. David was extremely confused.] David: “…Let go in this very instant. Do not to- Let go of my Stradivari!!” [Lady luck must have been delighted by the girl’s fighting spirit, for this outcome was next to impossible. David does not attack at all, merely trying to take back his violin, but failing to do so due to his lacking physical power.]
"and bingo. Dore" Tot grins as she aims one more sonic blast. Its probably the weakest she's launched yet, but its aimed very precisely while David's distracted trying to get back his violin. Aimed, at the crack in David's head. Its a small crack, but in some ways that makes it better. Though it might be weak, if Tot's sonic blast were to strike true, it would wind up trapped in David's skull, bouncing around inside to deal far more damage than it should have. "Lets see how that stands for 'will'." It wasn't really a typical move for her, but being able to think on her feet and take advantage of openings is something she'd imagine teach would be proud of
(edited by Tot_Pop)
There was pressure being applied to his head and gravity itself seemed to be forcing him to the ground. It seemed perhaps that he had taken things in the wrong way but yet...He couldn't bring himself to speak. Not a word came out of his mouth as he had nothing to say for the moment. Instead, the usually grim man would begin to crack a smile. He'd begin laughing lightly as Hazama continued to press against his head.

As Take felt the immense heat cause little more than what amounted to a mild discomfort, at least in comparison to what she was witnessing in the rest of her allies, she raised a brow. Not one to complain about being given any sort of special treatment, she wasted no time in using her previously charged Zio, aiming to slug the Incubus directly into his skull instead of firing the bolt as a projectile. "I'll split your damn skull you revolting little bastard!!" Should her attack be successful, she'd use every ounce of strength in her body to slam the Incubus' head into the floor, the electricity forming a globe of energy around the impact.
Penny
#330

{Penny, whether she liked it or not, had to have her body jerk downwards toward the ground, all because she asked that simple question. Though she’d like to curse herself for letting herself act how she would normally does, which is stupidly following along. She tries to swing at the air but to no avail, her grip slipping from the Mr. Bear who seemed to never even care. Eventually she stops moving her arms, asking carelessly as she looks downward at the floor.} “How does Penny rise from the floor again?” {The little girl started to feel it was even harder to keep herself in character, but seeing as how Quintus had started to laugh while getting trampled, Penny easily finds an excuse to make sure she stays in check. Considering it to be contagious, she quietly giggles from where she is now in hopes that she is still being as uncaring as she was the past hour.} “You’re funny Mister, tee-hee...”
“Excellent shot, Tot. And hang in there, Ene!” Prima smiles and aims her gun at David’s body. She takes a few cautious shots, careful to not catch Ene in the crossfire, and begins her advance. Though she isn’t the epitome of pure strength, she aims to get up close and personal with David while he’s distracted. If there’s one thing she knows, it’s that individuals like him are powerful in special attacks but lacking in close combat. It’s the best chance she has, too, since he can’t play anything with Ene’s vice grip on the instrument.
The Spell Punk would find itself being forced towards the ground restrained in movement but the restrain of movement is the not the point on its mind. Normally it was some metaphorical nonsense but this time it felt a bit more serious and questionable out of itself. "Why this is just the worst chain of events. Not even being sent to the next cycle instead being killed outside the realm of my own because some poor planned actions. They will be displeased and have me by the clutches and excommunicate me...oh not again I won't stoop down to a necromancing bone collector no..." Its mind was clearly not occupied in the immanent death at hand just grumbling to itself about how much it hated this. It tried to look up at the flame like orb yet could not riling it up even further and causing his grumble to become more tick off to say the least. His riled nature started to act up on his magic as he wanted anything but to stick there and experiencing a untraditional death. Spell Punk starts to cast a Gryva skill not on any person but on the flame orb as subtle as it could and make it rise and move estimating that the farther that orb is the less it had to think about it.
Quintus would continue laughing for a while before ccx calming down and beginning to speak without a hint of restraint despite the beating he was taking from both Hazama and gravity itself. "The emperor's going to an awful lot of trouble to squash a bug. It almost seems like your words and your actions don't match up. One minutes you decide to kill me yourself and then the next your telling me my ambitions mean nothing? That my dreams will never come true? Could it be that the emperor is actually scared of an insignificant bug because they might posses a venom inside that's too much for even them to handle? We killed Balam. We submitted when you wanted us to. Yet still, you decided to end my life the moment I made my goal clear. Then go ahead..." Quintus despite the gravity being pressed down on him, despite Hazama crushing him would attempt using the last of his energy to grab onto the kid's leg that was crushing him and to glare up at him with a smile on his face. "Kill me and show everyone here that the Emperor of all Demons is scared of a puny bug like me! Prove me right!"
Ene

Nope my instrument now so I can't let go! Ene blithely shouts as she tightens her grip on the instrument. While the others try to attack she tries to jump back in a last ditch effort to completely rid david of his musical toy.

["2000 - 2020". The book talks about how despite what was essentially the end of the world, people around the globe had survived, even in Tokyo. In the first few years after the end of the Nuclear war and especially due to the demons, it became a necessity to live underground for the surviving humans, and Tokyo was perfect for such conditions. People would start to return to Tokyo and form groups to survive; some coming from the outside of the city and even nearby countries, while other had in fact saved themselves by sheer luck while inside of the city through hidden bunkers and the subway. The Church of the Messiah remained and so did the Cult of Gaea among the people of Tokyo.]
Coming right out of a long war, the people were still tense and violent. The demons did way more than destroy the world, they made people fearful; most were still holding on to the old ways of society. Due to this, tons of people chose to believe in the idea of a Messiah that would suddenly come and change it all, saving the world from demons and restoring all.
[At the same time, the Cult of Gaea opposed the desire for those of Law to restore traditions and ensure security like in the old days and instead wished to embrace the return to a state of nature, where the strong thrive and one can do as they please, saying this was good for humanity. This rift among the people would turn Tokyo very quickly into the battleground for an all new power struggle with both sides moving forward proclaiming they are doing their best for humanity. The Cult of Gaea would gain control of the north of Tokyo, mainly Tokyo Destinyland, Ikebukuro and most notoriously, Ueno. Meanwhile the Church of the Messiah would find themselves focused around Shinagawa and Shibuya, as well as most of the Tokyo bay. Shinjuku remained a mostly neutral zone lead by a man called Ozawa, who overtook the previous Yakuza gang boss who was the ruler by making a deal with a demon called Take-Minakata. Then there was Roppongi which, until 2022, had a barrier all over it while being run by two men known as Black Count and Red Baron. Then there was Ginza, the one true neutral ground that worked as a community with no alliance to any particular side, right in the middle of it all; this one had the biggest population.]
The Church of the Messiah would find a girl called Yuka with incredible powers and a great connection to the spirit world. She was given the title of "Messiah" and turned into the leader of Shibuya at the time she turned 15, around 2021. She was told it was a great honor and that it was her destiny to lead the people in the name of God. But she always knew deep down her calling was something else, even if she never told anyone from the Order for as long as she remained there.
[The book would continue to describe how people dealt with the harsh conditions. When it came to water, they were able to get it from the nearby rivers and boil it for safe consumption; summer was never an issue because the nuclear winter made everything generally cold, and even the snow from winter was used to stock up on water if possible. With the death of cattle and the impossibility for agriculture, the people turned to hunting certain demons for food consumption, such as Stonka, or any supplies that remained from old. For armor and weapons, these are rarely forged but mostly discovered or obtained from demons; another important supply they themselves fabricate is ammunition for guns. The people would make underground stores, parking and even subways would become the new homes of the people as they slowly try to renovate old buildings and what the city used to be like, but this was made difficult by the fighting between Messians and Gaeans]
In secret, the Messians had been working hard in the construction of a massive structure at sea, near Tokyo Bay. A Cathedral.

[Hazama would laugh just like Quintus was, more by the face that, in his eyes, this man just lost it and realized his entire life was a sham. His pride had taken him here and, ironically, in throwing it away, it would prove to be his demise. That was what the Deity Emperor was thinking.] Hazama: "What's wrong, mongrel? Is the thought of your mortality so horrible you lost it?" Hee-Ho: “The Gloomy Guy turned into Laughing Guy, ho! This is creepy…!” [At the same time, Takeno would prove successful in slamming the Incubus' head into the floor with her Zio-charged fist. The demon hits the floor hard mostly by brute force rather than the electricity itself, which wasn’t particularly effective. At that moment she decided she wanted nothing more than to obliterate the enemy in front of her, the heat and push the Sol Smasher above was exhorting over her was “gone”, not affecting her body for a brief moment, only for it to slowly try to push her into the ground again, unsuccessfully. The demon would writhe in pain while Hazama laughs harder.] Hazama: “Was that dying little girl too much. No matter, you had your cha -” [The Sol Smasher’s power is great, but Punk’s Gryva is indeed able to slowly push it up, away from the group thanks to the influence of his Warlock Gauntlet making his magic more powerful in effect. As a result, the heat and pressure forced upon everyone is weaker and weaker by the seconds. Hazama is confused as to what is happening, seemingly having no control over the orb itself. Then, Quintus would catch his attention. The teenager’s face would shift from confusion and to anger as the gloomy guy was able to grab on to him; Quintus would find it easier than expected, even would feel like standing up was completely doable. Then, Ragnarok Magatama that was in Quintus possession would begin to vibrate in response to his behavior, and he could also feel the faint noise of something cracking.] Hazama: “What kind of sick joke is this, bastard!? You belong to me, your entire life and being does!! I decide if you live and die, including when and how!! But if you are so eager to meet your maker then so be it. Eligor, Incubus, all of my minions, come to me!!” [Hazama would force the hurt and humiliated Incubus into a sphere of magnetite that would return to his hand, just like Eligor; the eyes all around would also become magnetite as Hazama forces them all together. In this process of fusing the demons around, Punk would prove successful on pushing the Sol Smasher away in this moment, fully allowing everyone in the group to freely move, essentially saved from imminent death by Punk’s gravity magic, Yoshiko’s willingness to fight on and Quintus’ taunting.] Hazama: “The greed you showcase has done nothing but get on my nerves. I will not humor your insolence any longer, but I will not be the one to kill you!! Not me, but a demon!!” [The magnetite in his hand would make his hands vibrate as he jumps back on top of the metal fence and throws it against the floor; a gigantic being would take form quickly: A bipedal humanoid creature of dark green skin. It has two heads like those of a bird of prey and red fur, which also covers its arms and legs that end in talons. It has a golden collar around its neck and two spiky appendages going down from the back of its heads.] Hazama: “Arise Mammon!! Squash them with no mercy!! I beat this demon myself as I fought my way to the throne!!” [In his anger, Hazama fails to notice the changes his world was going under. Down the hole into the classroom, a gateway back to the Akarana Corridor had opened, but Mammon was standing right between them and it. The demon does not make a move, and instead, it decides to watch what they would do, seemingly aware of the gateway but not saying a thing. From the stairway behind them, there was the presence of a “familiar demon”. Punk in particular felt it.]

David: "I keep telling you to let go of Stra-" [Shock, that's all he can feel at the moment for the sudden turn of events. Tot would miraculously land Dore inside David's skull. It would bounce from one side to another, the unexpected pain forcing David to let go of the violin. In the duration of the attack, the skull would crack even more so, now opening a wider hole on his forehead that would continue to the right eye socket. Then Prima would follow up by shooting her Tundra Seal while also advancing; each step making it easier to aim, given the Fiend was not moving an inch that wasn’t caused by pain or an attack by the group. This would leave some bad holes around his torso and clothes, revealing more of his now damaged bones. Ene would pull even harder, and would prove successful in retrieving the Stradivari violin from David’s hand due to him being too weak to do anything anymore.] David: “Outstanding. To think I would fall for such an idiotic trick…!” [The trio would completely reverse the effect of the three previous Haunting Rhapsodies; their offensive power, defensive capabilities and speed would return to normal. Despite this, David would cast yet another Megido, but struggling to make it happen at first. It would hit all three but there was no way it would hurt like it used to. Not anymore. David seems incapable of doing another move for the moment.]
“Nice one sparky,Princess!” Tot cheers on her teammates as the tide finally turns back in their favor. Now back to normal the girl would dance away from the megido, getting caught near the edge of its blast but now that she’s back to full operation it wouldn’t hurt too badly. Not something she’s never dealt with at any rate. Once the smoke clears Tot gives David a brief bow “See? You can’t underestimate our willingness to make our own choices. Now, since this is the finale...” Tot spins around, putting on one last bit of a show before snapping her fingers at David thrice “Do! Re! La!” Sending one final set of three sonic blasts at their opponent. Tot’s running low on magic so it would have been wiser to use something smaller, but a show must end in as showy a way as possible
The blast burns Prima’s skin, and she can’t do much other than brace herself, but with the music’s effects gone she manages to stand her ground. It still hurts, but she’s not down yet. “Yes, let’s end this.” She takes advantage of her close distance to unload as many shots as possible into David’s skeletal body. Even the recoil doesn’t faze her. It’s now or never.
Quintus would notice that the force against him was no longer there. What was more suprising was the his speech actually seemed to work against Hazama to some degree. As soon as he could he'd get some distance between him and the unstable teen. He knew it was time to try and escape but now a new demon blocked the path between him and the exit. Not too much energy left. He was surprisingly relatively unhurt but it was questionable how long he'd last with limited magic. Despite this the exit was close at hand, he almost thought about just using the other as a distraction and leaving on his own. He'd look over the group quickly...Penny was still among them. She was too young and probably still had a limited understanding of the situation, Take was his ally who held similar ideals to his own, and at this point he probably owed Spellpunk for contributing to saving his life. There wasn't much room for selfishness right now... "Look like we're in this for the long haul, Hee-Ho. Everyone! It might not be wise to engage this demon! We should focus on trying to gaining access to an escape for everyone here!" He'd also try to confirm the location of the summon device. It would get in the way of fighting too carry now but there was no way he was leaving it behind.
Raidou flipped through page after page of the small history book, engrossed in the text contained within every page. Many details lined up with what he already knew from his last few outings into that rough time frame, but the points about the future passed that was vastly intriguing. "So, if we hadn't stepped in to help Kazuya back then, is this what would've happened?" Gouto pondered the question allowed, and Raidou assumed the answer was yes. That did bring up a decent point, though. "What's up, Raidou? Something weird catch your eye?" From what Raidou knew, Kazuya was personally involved in many of the events described in the entries detailing events before the dropping of the ICBMs. While things were different in The Alternative thanks to Raidou himself and the others, Raidou knew Kazuya took part in many of those events even in his own time, without Melbourne's meddling. "This book came from even after the entries we've read insofar, and there we saw that kid who was Kazuya's spitting image. It could be a coincidence, but given that wasn't the only double we saw there, that seems unlikely. Things aren't adding up here, at all." Gouto echoed Raidou's thoughts exactly. The summoner decided to read on, figuring that there wasn't much else to do about this inconsistency for now.

Raising her blade in a defensive stance, she closed her eyes, taking a deep breath. For a moment she was in her own little world, her hands charging with electricity once again as she gripped the blade tight. Her eyes opened once more, now burning with a passionate determination, focused solely on the massive demon Hazama had just summoned. "As much as I'd love to paint the walls red with this bastard, we're in over our heads... But I have an idea!" Take raised her blade and dashed to the side, using an incredible amount of force, she started slashing up a chunk of concrete that once comprised the wall, and before it would have even landed she charged her fist with another Zio, hoping the sheer force of her punch could launch the stone at Hazama.

{The little girl stopped her quiet giggling for a second when she realized the overwhelming force had went away. Penny got up from the ground, raising an eyebrow at the newly arrival of Mammon. She desperately wanted to try and play with it, and she also wanted to go back into the classroom. Still confused, Penny laughs it off, practically shrugging her shoulders with no care.} "Huh? I don't know what's going on at all, tee-hee! Penny doesn't care too much anymore, though. Penny just wants to leave stinky other Mister alone. Forever." {She lets go of her Bugbear and raises her hand towards the sky, the rain from inside the classroom subsiding. Instead, the atmosphere, though not at all rising much in heat, starts to feel more like a blistering desert. The wind gathers around to blow sand everywhere, creating a sandstorm that greatly lowers the attack of the enemies that oppose her fellow party members.} {Mr. Bear wastes no time after he's been released from the little girl's grasp, it's blue button eyes scouring the rooftop. The bear looks towards where Penny looks, and stares deeply as if it were gazing into one's soul. Though it's mouth was stitched up, it bares it's bloody fangs, almost seeming to hiss, and proceeds to follow up on Penny's sandstorm by using Masukunda on their adversaries.}

["202X - 203X" begins. The human population of Tokyo had gotten used to demons’ attacks and many different types of hunters had begun to appear all around the city, be it from the Police-like forces of the Messians or independent Mercenary-like forces of the Gaeans. Indeed, not much of importance happens until the year 2022, when a small group assassinated Ozawa and liberated Shinjuku from his control, at the cost of making demons target the are more for the next few weeks. At the same time, Yuka would fall to the possession of a demon called Arachne but was then rescued by the same small group. She would leave her position as the "Messiah" and as the Leader of Shibuya too around this time; soon enough a woman named Akie would take the position. This particular year was marked by many things, such as the Battle at the Police HQ; the discovery of Roppongi's true nature: A city of Bodyconians run by the demons Belial and Nebiros for the purpose of entertaining a certain "Alice", and the Full Moon of December, in the which hundreds died in Shibuya at the hands of a horde lead by Pale Rider. The book would reiterate how it was the same case as 1992 at Shinjuku. Among the list of dead, a "Tsukasa" slips through. It talks about how it even seemed like the Fiend was targeting specific people rather than looking for a great genocide.]
Among the groups who fought that day, the "Full Moon" of December 8th, 2022, were Raidou Kuzunoha the XXV's themselves and their students, besides the last remaining members of the defunct Resistance and some Demon Busters that had come to help as per their request; most from Ginza. Yuka herself assisted during the battle.
[The book would not go into much detail regarding each individual, besides mentioning that the Raidou of that time had a child that joined the Gaeans, rejecting the Raidou Kuzunoha line in favor of himself; his name being Haruko. It is believed he died, mostly speculated to have been at the hands of Akie, this coming from the clash the Messians and Gaeans had mere days after the Full Moon of December battle. People back then believed this because this was the only Raidou Kuzunoha to ever reject the ideals of "Law" so suddenly, and only XXVI would be a return to form. Next, the book describes the raise of a new "Messiah", Yuji, who had given up his life for a friend and was then resurrected by God himself, as well as the champion of Gaea, the "Bushi" Takeshi, a man who had fused himself with a demon to gain power. Their exploits would become notorious because they never fought each time they met, but rather, kept trying to convince the other to join their respective side. Eventually, around 2026, the Messian's Cathedral is completed with the purposes of calling out God into Earth, while the Gaeans assaulted the place from below in order to stop them and use it to call for Lucifer instead. And not long after, Tokyo was hit by a Great Flood, killing everyone not inside the repaired tall buildings of the city or the Cathedral island.]

The Cathedral was an artificial, gigantic island with a megastructure on top of it, raising high above the sea level as if it was expecting such an event. From 2022 and 2026, most of Tokyo had in fact gone heavy restoration thanks to the increasing number of Demon Busters having easier times dealing with common races, but it all seemed worthless once the Great Flood came. Luckily, most people had been lead to the Cathedral through a secret entrance, saving a great number of people in the process.
[The battle at the Cathedral was not won by Law or Chaos, but by a small third party who took down the great generals of both sides. It is said that this was the angry spirit of Masakado himself reaching out for peace. In this battle, the generals Arioch, Surt, Astaroth and the then current leader of the Cult of Gaea, Asura, were defeated by him on the side of Chaos, meanwhile in the side of Law, Uriel, Raphael, Gabriel and even the head of the Church of the Messiah and the greatest warrior of God on Earth, Michael were defeated. In the process, God's chosen Messiah, Yuji was killed, like Lucifer's chosen Champion, Takeshi by this figure. Although the battles had lasted for days between both sides, the defeat of all these generals at the hands of “Masakado” had happened in a single day.]
Due to this and against all odds, Chaos and Law put a stop to their constant fight as the waters returned to the sea. In this time, the group known as the "Seven Philosophers" was created, which had high rankings humans of different origins and ideologies. Through their guidance, they were able to lead the construction of the first great symbol of Humanity's resurgence after the end: Shinjuku Babel, a 3000 meters tall building made out of 666 floors, as well as the foundation of the Devil Buster Control Organization. Eventually however, the groups of wisemen separated due to their differences and set out to focus on their own people. Meanwhile Law, Chaos and other neutral areas were once again separated; the North belonging to the Gaeans and the South belonging to the Messians, but at the very least the bloody conflict had ended.
[It would then focus on describing how the Messian church was a political powerhouse all around, and how the Cult of Gaea began to lose traction as more and more people again united under the desire for order and protection. After this, it says "Valhalla, however, will always remain absolutely neutral and accepting of everyone." The chapter then abruptly ends. There are only a few pages left written by hand, and those seemed to be in a rather worn out state compared to the rest of the text. At the same time, a portal opens up next to Raidou, although he cannot see to where it leads. Rather, it seemed to be someone's exit.]

Hee-Ho: "I-I don't know what Gloomy guy means but coming hee-re was a mistake, Ho!" [The Jack Frost would say with happiness despite being incredibly scared previously. Quintus is able to localize the damaged COMP near the stairs towards the floor below, in the same condition they had found it previously. Then Takeno would move on to the offensive, trying to aim her attack directly at the Summoner himself, but Mammon would extend his talons to intercept the attack quite easily. The impact proves to be effective enough, although not strong enough to properly hurt him; it was clear at least the demon wasn't even resistant to such damage.] Hazama: "Foolish girl, consider from where you stand and the size of this creature. A mere piece of concrete will never reach me." [Hazama laughs as Penny moves to make her own move by unleashing a sandstorm that would only affect Mammon, who sees its own offensive capacity lowered greatly, only for his own speed to be reduces slightly by Bugsbear's Masukukaja.] Mammon: "Try to have it all, and you will lose it all. Such are the teachings given to you by others of your own species. It would make sense you would be thrown into hell to be tested...if you really are worthy to be alive." [The massive demon would speak and not move from his position as a colorless orb forms in his hand. He would throw it and remove any betterments given to them by the use of Dekaja. Next up, it would repay Takeno's rock throw with a Garudyne, but would narrowly miss due to the previous debuff. He would retreat his talons in annoyance.] Mammon: "Quite lucky you are. None of your ideas shall work, it would be easier if you took your own lives."

[Yoshio had been hoping to join in with how weak they were just moments prior, it was clear to him at first that the Fiend was well beyond their capacity, but in the end, he didn't need to do anything; he was wrong. He would look on with a slight sense of amazement at this. It really was better to see humans surpass demons through their own will.] Yoshio: "This is it; they've won...!" David: "Truly..." [The onslaught of attacks quickly follows David's final Megido, and attempt at winning this battle. It may be difficult to tell given his features, or lack thereof, but he seemed content, somehow. Tot's Dorela reach his body and enter it once again as Prima lays waste to his body with her bullets, and David cannot do anything in return as he finally lets go of his violin, falling to the ground as a mere pile of bones and red clothes.] David: "...You've bested me on all accounts. I gracefully bow to you three. Up until now, I have shown you the future, the true fate of the world from where you came from. You will soon become a part of it, but do not fear..." [The violin would play a melody on its own, despite being all broken down and ruined, it plays its melody. They see that although the cities have been ruined, from the outskirts people are coming out of shelters and underground facilities of all types. People, against all odds, had survived the world ending event. The sky above was cloudy and the sun could barely get through due to the nuclear winter as the people did their best to restore a single building, meanwhile others are keeping their guard up with both firearms and melee weapons, wearing all types of armor that go from medieval to downright fantastical. Soon enough, a small group of demons approach these humans with the intent to kill, and another emerges from within the building. Surrounded, at first it seemed like there was no hope. However, the demons that had come out from the building; a Cerberus, an Orthrus and a Chimera, would lunge at the group that came from beyond, immediately laying waste to them. Those constructing cheer on as a young man with a crimson cape coat is the one commanding them. His left eye is covered by a metallic gadget while his left arm has a COMP on it. He is sitting on a battered motorcycle while playing around with his long brown hair. A single demon escapes his familiars, rushing at him with the intent to kill, but he stops the enemy dead on its tracks by piercing a sword right through its head, following up with making the blade itself light on fire, turning the beast into ashes. The people cheer on as the "Devil Summoner" stands proudly. The melody ends.] David: "...those who still have the will... can fight on no matter what. Death is not the end, it never is. Those who perish return in... new forms... such are the rules of the universe. But... perhaps you..." [David becomes dust before he can finish talking, and all of his being, as well as the Stradivari, disappear. It was clear at least that this Fiend was never part of the programming. In the place he once stood, a floating colorless orb awaits, inviting one of the three who won to take it. At the end of the corridor, where there used to be a dead-end now awaits an opening back to the Akarana Corridor. They may be able to see Raidou and Gouto reading a book.]
Quintus would sigh quietly to himself. He had to be out of character for once in his life. He'd begin sprinting towards the demon before them, pulling out both his blades and aiming the for the demons legs. "Hee-ho! I need another defense buff if you will!" Whether the attack was successful or not he'd quickly withdraw and begin heading towards the stairs where he left the comp before rather than the hole behind Mammon. "None of our ideas will work? Quite confident for a demon who already lost to a human before! Come get me then and show me just how pointless my ideas are!"
"Little rough aren't you? Still, I understand. From one musician to another. Bravo." Tot's usual loud and cheery tone fades away for a moment as a single tear is brought to her eye. Fires are forged by adversity, and much like her own teacher, David hadn't wanted to allow those who couldn't persevere to move forward and meet only suffering. In a way, it was seeing if they could, or if they would have to rely on Yoshio. And in the end, they stepped forward. Just as Tot had before, and she trusts the others knew too. Tot solemnly salutes the pile where David once was, before stepping forward to take the colorless orb, to hold it and see what it was, as well as in a way show her appreciation to the fiend. Its rude not to accept a gift.
Raidou finally managed to pick out some names he recognized. Tsukasa lived on for decades after the battle in 1992, which brought a somewhat bittersweet smile to Raidou's face. The mentions of Yuji and Takeshi's fates as well evoked an odd feeling from the summoner; the mention of their defeat at the hands of one "Masakado", as well. Hmph. Even in spite of their circumstances, Yuji and Takeshi never directly took up arms against one another, and in the end the fighting was brought to an end by one "spirit" wishing for peace. His name forgotten, but his actions living on forevermore. It was melancholic to read, surely, but almost comforting in a way, to know that his friend stuck true to his beliefs until the end. "Hey, Raidou. What do you think of that part there, about the Raidous of that time?" The current Raidou pressed a finger to his chin in thought. A Raidou specifically serving one cause over the other seemed strange to him, even moreso was the thought that one served Lucifer in particular. He couldn't help but wonder what the Yatagarasu and Gouto of that time thought, if they were even around at all. A Raidou without a Gouto... Heh, wouldn't dream of it. The moment was cut short by the pair noticing the gateway opening. Deciding to try and give those last few pages a read later on, Raidou stashed the book in the inner pocket of his uniform, and watched expectantly to see who would arrive.

[Tot would take the orb of light the Fiend left behind. It would join her body and cover her "aura" as it reads into her memories and very own being. After this short scanning of it all, the light would separate from herself and float right in front of her as it takes shape. It would seem similar to David's violin at first before totally transforming into an electric guitar with a stripe pattern all over it of black and white and red strings; this one would be called "Blanco Gitarre". At first a perfectly normal electric guitar built specifically for her, it would fold into itself as the body edges, creating a rather heavy battle axe; "Barbaro Gitarre". It would then become a guitar in the blink of an eye yet again, not having any trick to it besides the girl's own will. The tuners would turn themselves as the melody it lets out is powered by Psychokinesis magic; "Psycho Social Gitarre" mode would make the white stripes turn magenta. The tuners would turn yet again, and it would instead unleash Nuclear magic; "Radio Active Gitarre" would turn the white stripes into cyan and the strings into yellow. Finally, it would return to its base form on Tot's hands. It was clear that she would be able to use Almighty spells through the base form, but in any of the other two modes, the Almighty would instead be replaced by either Psychokinesis or Nuclear magic while still using the same skills.]
Battered but victorious, Primarina bows, both for those watching and for David’s performance. Even though things were difficult, she was right to put her trust in the others. “It seems we were able to hold our own just fine. I’m not sure the simulation demons turn into dust, but whatever David was, I’d say the simulation was a success.” She takes a few steps towards the end of the corridor, but pauses to look over her shoulder at Yoshio. “I have a few friends I’d rather not keep waiting, so this may be farewell. It was an honor to meet you.”
Tot takes a deep breath, letting the guitar shape to her being. The girl reaches forward to grab this new guitar, its colors carry her own pretty wicked motif, would probably be right at home were she transformed, but for now this military leather will do. Tot takes a few test strums, ones with no power behind it but simply to see how the instrument feels. Once she's ready the girl takes off from David's final song. There's no image to conjure, and a sense of uncertainty that seemed uncharacteristic from the girl, yet it maintains an upbeat, hopeful tone. A determination that even if things are dark now, they'll always be able to find the light. Once her addition is over, Tot breathes out a sigh and nods to Prim and Ene. "Right, yeah we've got a ways to go. It was nice seein' ya, and thanks for the moral support!" Tot waves to Yoshio before heading out through the gateway back to where Raidou would be waiting, adding on. "Last one through's a rotten egg!"

As Take watches the Garudyne just barely miss her, she froze for a moment, realizing just how close she was to getting torn apart by wind. She grit her teeth and shook her head, not allowing herself to succumb to fear for even a moment. "You bark a hell of a lot for being a big guard dog! Why don't you be a good pup and run along home to your master? I gotta say, hitting animals isn't really my schtick." Despite the risk, she decided to move closer to Mammon, going for a powerful underhanded slash at at the demon's legs which led quite smoothly into an evasive backflip. She remained crouching with a hand to the floor, ready to move for an evasive dive just in case Mammon decides to counter attack. After all this, her eyes dart towards the nearby Penny, realizing she hadn't even accounted for the attention she might've brought to the child from her taunting. "Hey kid! You'd best get a move on, I highly doubt he's gonna care if you're standing there when he tries to crush us into pink mist!"

{The little girl looked at the sky, and then at the bugbear. Her smirk faded, but not because of the situation. No no, she's too wrapped up in deciding whether or not she should not see Mr. Bear for a few minutes. Penny's snapped out of her trance as she hears Takeno, and nods towards her, heeding her warning.} "Penny really wants to play...but I guess Penny won't be able to." {She pouted before taking out her COMP, a phone that seemed almost eerily similar to a walky talky. She held it sideways, flashing the screen at Hazama before calling out their name, her eyes glancing towards her Bugbear as it starts to lose some of it's form, almost like it was digitalizing out of existence.} "Fine, Penny will get her new friend then." {The screen of her COMP flashes blue before her Bugbear's whole existence seems to get reformed, the pixels from before turning into that of Jack Ripper. Her smile returns when she finally swaps out Mr. Bear, and it changes to a determined smirk at her adversaries. Despite maintaining her childlike demeanor, her words are somehow moving and charismatic enough to let her look experienced at the very least.} Penny: "Mister Jack, Penny missed you. Can you help Penny stay alive now?" Jack: "Pfft, I didn't sign up for this, pipsqueak. But count me in." {Following after Takeno, Jack Ripper takes out his razor blade, slicing at Mammon's legs as well by using his Tetanus Cut. Though Penny feels weird not holding anything in her arms, she still advances forward, making sure to at least stay relatively near Takeno. The girl's eyes were gazing blankly at Mammon, but glanced towards the hole leading to the classroom. Jack Ripper also stands in front of Penny menacingly, despite his small size.}

Ene claps for David's final rousing words. Wish you were this nice earlier. But I guess this is good enough. Ene stops clapping once David is gone and moves to follow after Prima. WIthout bothering to look back since she didn't know or care much about Yoshio.
The Spell Punk would arise from the floor finally still grumbling to itself as it tried to wear off the stiffness it felt being forced to the ground like that. “Alright not being toyed around and sent off to my worst life. Let’s keep it that way, no hands on the robe and all helps keep me content.” It would start to refocus its attention finally noticing the grand foe right in front of them. The Spell Punk not wanting to keep being toyed by yet another force here, it would trying conjuring a spell to strike back against Mamon. Before following through it would feel almost an alarming chill drawing his attention between what’s in front and behind it. “What is this...there is something else in our position I can feel a gaze right on me!” It would change its plan and turn his spell into the sky casting a Makajamon to try and support in the fight but also trying to use this spell to flush out what ever it was feeling and try to draw what ever it is out of lurking. It would keep its eyes on the stairwell but keep an open ear if anyone need the Punk to turn it’s attention back.

[Yoshio, incredibly confused, would simply wave at the trio as they leave towards who knows where exactly. Today had not been the most normal of days and he wasn't even sure if it was even the weirdest thing he had seen.] Yoshio: "Meeting that girl was...strangely nostalgic..." [As soon as the last person from now on known as "rotten egg" (Ene) goes through the exit, the portal closes. They would finally return to the central platform where they would meet with Raidou and Gouto. The giant hourglass next to them would feature five smaller drawings of hourglasses, with now two lit up, soon enough making the small path towards the north, in the gab between the central area and the north area slightly longer. The red lance thrusted into the floor becomes clearer to the group, revealing it has something written on it, but there was simply no way of telling what exactly. Finally, there are three hourglasses left: The first one is to the North-East; there is a strangely peaceful feeling to this one, and they may be able to note the faint laughter of children. The second one is far East, past the one Tot and Ene had chosen previously; this one features the faint sound of someone pressing the keys of a computer silently. Finally, the third one merely reveals the busy sound of modern-day Tokyo; they can tell this one is locked, needing all six hourglasses to be activated successfully, and only two have been finished currently. They could also wait for the other group to get back, all up to the four back already.]

Hee-Ho: "You got it, boss! Heeeeeeeeee Hooo!" [Hee-Ho would charge up the magic as he gives Quintus a boost to his defensive capacity with the use of Rakukaja. Not soon after this happened Quintus would rush in with his pair of blades. He would pierce right through and would leave the wound of the demon bleeding. It was clearly hurt but these were nothing but superficial injuries. Even still, the creature would feel it if it tried to move its legs. Then, Quintus would rush back to the COMP and the stairs while taunting the demon; Takeno would rush the demons legs as does Jack Ripper with his Tetanus Cut; the effects are immediately visible, leaving some deep cuts on both legs, but Mammon can stay on his feet still, not a single one of them weaker than before and both in equal condition. Furthermore, the poison effect seems to be completely nullified by the being. Punk would move ahead and attempt to use Makajamon. It hits, but it does not bind the creature, completely nullifying the effects just like the previous poison.] Mammon: "You say a lot for a human that could barely deal with trash. No human is equal to one another, and the Deity Emperor was superior to his peers. There is no guarantee you can ever surpass me. As such, none of you in front of me can ever dream to stop me." [Quintus would make it to the COMP just as Punk turns around; both would be able to take a good look back to the stairway. It was dark and the door was open. Most important of all, a pair of glowing yellow eyes accompanied by a smaller pair of glowing pink eyes were looking at the closest from the dark.] ???: "Hey, you, the one with the gloomy eyes. Think you can make that demon's legs any weaker? We'll help you out as long as you hurry up and pick one." ¿¿¿: "That guy is like way past your league, so you better do what we tell you~! Hurry~!" [The first voice was vaguely human with its distortion. At the same time, the Ragnarok Magatama began to resonate once again. The second sounded female and didn't have the same kind of distortion, and at first glanced seemed to belong to someone of high school age. Punk however should be able to tell right away from looking back that these two are the “Demi-Fiend” Naoki Kashima and the “Fairy” Pixie.] Mammon: “Small and fragile. Taste true power.” [It would take a single step forward as it unleashes a series of two punches. Although they are only hitting the air, the shockwave they create are powerful enough for it to feel like being struck all around the body by the full force of a hammer, a “Hammer Punch”. The impact reaches both Quintus and Penny, however, the effects of the sandstorm Penny previously summoned greatly decrease the effect of the attack. After this, the demon follows up by creating magical claws extending from his body. These “Vile Fangs” would impact everyone; Quintus, Takeno, Penny, Jack Ripper and Punk; but it wouldn’t do any physical damage, and it barely hurt. Instead, it was their spirit and stamina what was hit. The group would feel their capacity for magic decrease as well as feeling more tired than before.] Hazama: “My… you all really enjoy pointless struggle! Keep on dancing, I enjoy it myself!” [Hazama would laugh loudly as he keeps his eyes glued to all that’s happening.]
"Awesome, looks like we made it!" Tot cheers to Ene, Prim, and Raidou, brandishing her wicked new guitar in its normal black and white mode. The girl chuckles before looking over at their options "Two left to go now, so think we oughta split up and take these in pairs?" Tot asks the other three present. She doesn't really have any opinion as for who to go with, or even whether or not to go alone, she's simply ready to keep the ball rolling "Would be totally cool if we were already ready by the time the other five band members get back so we could roll on through dontcha think?"

{Penny merely covered her head with her arm as she braced for the impact of the Hammer Punch, silently thanking herself for somehow knowing how to change the weather like she does. Of course, she's still hoping she can get to the hole in the classroom in hopes that she can get to the sword. Penny felt it right to thank Tabitha for being such a great role model.} Jack Ripper: "Ugh, trying to deal with this chump is tiring. Now I'm tired..." {The blow from the Hammer Punch was nothing compared to this sense of drowsiness that overcame her, but not enough to make her go to sleep completely. Her tiny body still made sure not to topple over, and she walks over to Jack Ripper, smiling and showing him her COMP.} Penny: "That's fine, you did your part Mister." Jack: "Wait what-" {Due to the effects of the Vile Fangs, she felt that her little reunion had to be short-lived. After the COMP started to glow blue, it was practically routine at this point. Jack Ripper dematerialized into pixels that formed her beloved floating demonic teddy bear in his stead once more. The bear that immediately shoots out 3 skulls in annoyance towards Mammon, straight at his legs since that's where the trajectory headed anyway. Before Mr. Bear could turn around, Penny scooped him up in a big hug, in which he tried to shake out once more.} "I really missed you, Mister Bear! Penny's so sorry..."
The damage might have been reduced from his buffed defense but it still would feel painful. On top of that Quintus would feel the effect of the demon's other attack. He'd suddenly feel a wave of exhaustion realizing that he likely wouldn't be able to use magic anymore. That was fine though. He'd finally begin to notice his Magatama as the figures from the shadows called out to him and the Punk. It seemed that the Magatama was trying to tell him something...perhaps that these individuals were allies? It din't matter now, things were desperate enough. He very well knew everyone would likely perish if they couldn't beat Mammon here. "I barely have anything left to give. My own legs feel like they'll give out at this point. It's because of that though that I'll have to do as you say now." Too much was left on the line. If it's just weakening its legs then he could aim fro the one he struck before. He'd rush back towards Mammon, blades ready as he shouted to the others. "Go for the legs! Give it everything you've got!" With that he'd try and strike at the same leg as before but this time trying to hit the other side, hoping that maybe that'd be enough.
Raidou would wave to the three as they approached, smiling slightly. Gouto spoke in the summoner's stead as per usual, while Raidou himself glanced curiously at the lance. "Glad you're all safe, especially you Prima. Things got odd after we got separated, but Raidou's still in near peak condition. You lot do look worse for wear, though. I agree with you kid, it'd be nice to just get this done, but before that we should decide who's good to keep going and who isn't. If any of you guys don't think you can handle another venture, then we can have one pair stay behind and one go ahead, or something of that sort. Haste makes waste and all that." Raidou nodded, and took a look at their options as well. He didn't exactly have a preference for which pathway he would prefer, so he simply shrugged. "Assumin' we're unrestricted in how we approach this, though, I think going in pairs would be best, yeah. Again though, Raidou here is in top form, so I suppose it's only fair you guys decide how things get split up. Though if I had to pick, I don't think I'd complain about the one with the cheery-sounding kids. At least, I hope they're cheery."
The Spell Punk would tilted its head in curiosity and confusion at the strange voices of these beings masked in shadows. It was ready to question what the beings were saying and who they were but was cut short seeing as Quintus was already on board executing their plan. "Guess we'll take blind faith from the voices in the dark wonder how that will pan out as we run head first. I'll bind and crush this beasts leg just give it all you got and more if you possibility can!" It would channel its ever reliable Gryva spell and focus on the same leg of Mammon as Quintus was. It tried to hold it in place and crush it with the sheer pressure applied from the spell. Though it would take a great deal of him and exhaustion would start to creep in once again making it feel hard to keep afloat.

Take slouched forward after the Vile Fangs collided with her, not bothered at all by the pain but seeming visibly fatigued now. She clutched her blade and dashed to Mammon's leg, her blade raised over her head, slashing vertically with great speed. "This is everything I've got! I'm counting on you all to follow this up!! Zeta Slash!!!" Suddenly the first cut was followed up by another swing, her blade dancing around the demon's legs at a seemingly inhuman speed, hopefully damaging the demon's tendon with the combined force of dozens of lacerations. After the attack was over, she'd leap back and assume a defensive stance, but it was clear that she'd used almost all her strength at once. Should she be struck, she'd likely be unable to evade, let alone provide a strong defense.

Due to their intense battles while inside of the Virtual Battler, the three girls would feel their power grow. Prima would gain "Media", a skill that makes it possible to cure her teammates. Tot would gain the skill "Doresol", a skill quite similar to Dorela, with the difference that it shoots once or twice at random targets with medium Almighty magic; although more reliable in single encounters, it may prove difficult to use against large groups. Then Ene would feel her capacity to use her lightning upgraded with "Raikouzan"; this one allows her to imbue any cutting weapon of hers with electricity for light damage that is always guaranteed to strike.

[Penny summon her Bugsbear once more, as it focuses its sights on Mammon's legs with its Triple Down. The projectile damage was something the bigger demon was not protected against, just like with physical attacks the others have been using so far. Mammon, as he stands, cannot afford to move his legs, because if he did, he would quickly collapse. Though his face was that of a pair of birds, it was clear to note he had made a mistake. Not soon after, Quintus would focus on a single leg which would finally start to make it shake slightly.] Mammon: "You're really starting to become a nuisanc-" [Then, Punk would focus his Gryva on the same weaker leg. Not only did it make the wounds bigger, it also made the shacking all the more terrible and notorious. Takeno would then dash towards the leg with her blade as she unleashes her Zeta Slash, making the wounds too much for the demon to remain on both legs. In the end, Mammon is forced to press a knee against the floor as he prepares gusts of wind.] Mammon: "I shall finish this in this very moment, your heads will roll!!" [The wind would focus on his talons, preparing himself to unleash a physical attack with such pressure that would be enough to cut their entire bodies in half with no problem at all; "Large Beheading"; and he would set his sights on both Punk and Quintus. Raising his talons to launch the attack, a gust of wind would be shot out from within the stairways, and something or rather, someone was expulsed at full speed directly towards Mammon's head. This someone was a teenager with short and no shirt one with his body fully covered in tattoos who would simply focus on punching the creature with all his strength. The demon's balance would immediately go to hell as the power of this teenager seemed enough to push the thing back to where Hazama was standing. The Deity Emperor would jump up in the air and hover as Mammon goes through the metal fence and falls back into the abyss by the power of the teenager's punch, and the creature's own weight. After this, the tattooed kid would fall on the ground and get back into position while a Pixie follows behind. If they were to look closer, then it would become obvious Naoki had a horn on the back of his neck.] Pixie: "See~? I told you it would work, and you wouldn't believe me~!" Naoki: "I did half the work by punching the damn thing. I could've done the same thing without your wind." [The entire building would begin to shake as it was clear Mammon was making his way back up again, meanwhile Hazama was furious. Naoki, the "Demi-Fiend" would just smirk while looking up, and Pixie showed him her tongue. Takeno in particular should be able to notice; the Pixie that was with the new arrival was the same one that Kazuya has. It would normally be absurd for a human to tell each demon apart from others of the same type, but she could just tell from a single look. If Quintus payed attention to the horn in the back of Naoki's head, he would feel that his Magatama was specifically trying to tell him something about it, as it resonated yet again by merely looking at it.] Hazama: "You- What is the meaning of all this!? You don't look human, not at all! " Naoki: "If you keep messing around, we'll break it. 'We' being the demons and I, and 'it' being your face." Hee-Ho: "A-Amazing!! Hee looks so str-Ho-ng, almost like the Deity Emperor! I can’t tell if he’s a demon or a human…!" [Indeed, there were two ways to go as Mammon made his way up the school at a rapid pace and both the Demi-Fiend and the Deity Emperor glared at each other. One being the hole made previously that leads back to the one classroom, and then the stairways that lead back to the third floor, where the very same classroom was awaiting. Furthermore, near the stairways still awaited the damaged COMP for anyone to take, and the classroom still has Rowan's corpse, holding a M-16 Assault Rifle and Matador's blade, the "Espada".]
Quintus would return back to the damaged COMP, attempting to pick it up. It seemed this was there only chance to run away yet this thing, somewhere between human and demon and with power capable of making Hazama react in such a way. He almost felt like staying but that might be a bad idea. Regardless, he would speak out as he walked closer to the hole with the device in his hands. "Can you take things from here? I don't know who you are but you did help us so it's only right that I don't just leave without a word." Hee-Ho was also still there. He hadn't even thought of what the demon might do now. "What do you intend to do as well if we were to leave now Hee-Ho?"

[Hee-Ho would turn back to Quintus and wonder about that as well. He would scratch his big head with his big fingers, looking somewhat worried at what Hazama might do, but also interested in what Naoki himself was going to do.] Hee-Ho: "Hee-Ho wants to become stronger, ho! Gloomy guy was super helpful, but you are a chump hee hee ho!" [The Fairy would hover as he points at the Pixie and back at the Demi-Fiend.] Hee-Ho: "Pixie are normally super weak, but Hee-Ho is sure she became this strong by being with Hee-m, the... uh...! The 'Demi-Fiend'! If I stay with him, I may be able to become even more powerful!"

{Immediately as she saw Mammon get smacked by the teenager, Penny’s eyes lit up as she started jumping for joy, her grip holding even tighter for the bear she hugged. Didn’t matter to her though, she had basically gotten what she wanted out of the exchange. The little girl smiles and shouts over towards the other other other mister.} “Thanks a lot, Mister! Penny will be sure to punch my brain enough for her memories to remember you!” {She laughs giddily as she starts to run towards the hole leading to the classroom, waving to Hee-Ho as he converses with Quintus, and finally letting go of Mr. Bear. Though she feels the shaking of the building all throughout her body, it isn’t enough to dissuade her from making a relatively safe landing into the classroom. Upon realizing who had died in here, she looks at him just like she did with the female student that died at the hands of Jack Ripper.} “Thanks for existing Other Mister. It was nice to see you for a few seconds.” {After the little girl pays her respects, she immediately walks past the body of Rowan and goes ahead to try and pick up his loot. Her bugbear watched as she struggles to hold both the Espada and the M16 without them falling, so she decides to let the shooty shooty end of the assault rifle and the sharp pointy part of the sword drag across the classroom floor.} “Despite all this, Mr. Bear. I sure hope the other people will be ok.” {And with that, despite being tired out of her little mind, she runs straight towards the gateway to the Akarana Corridor in order to depart from this awful school environment, her Bugbear following closely behind so as to watch out for her in case something waits for them past the route to the exit.}

As Mammon reeled back for his strike, she couldn't help but watch, her eyes darting to Quintus and Punk, reaching a hand out wordlessly in an effort to warn them... until Mammon was launched effortlessly, scoring a hole in one and surprising the Deity Emperor himself. "What the hell...?" Seeing Penny struggle to hold the two weapons, she reached down, pointing at the Espada.\ "Hey kid, let me help you out here. You'll damage the edge if you drag it on the floor like that." Should Penny accept, Take would rest the blade on her shoulders, moving in the direction of the exit but stopping to keep an eye on Quintus and the strange teenager. It was then that she noticed the familiar Pixie, tilting her head and letting out a 'Huuuh?' under her breath. "I know most Pixies look the same but... do I know you?"

Her bugbear also looked behind, almost getting riled up until it found out Takeno spoke to them.} “Oh, ok Miss, that’s fine with Penny!” {Penny ran back towards the older girl, dragging the M16’s shooty shooty part on the ground but lifting up the Espada a tiny bit so as to not have it drag on the floor. Afterwards, she held up the M16 with a smile on her face.} “Tell me the rest of what happens Miss, Penny has to leave. Please give the pointy stick to Penny, she wants to give it to Big Sis Tabitha after we finish.” {And with that, she leaves Takeno’s side with the M16, now heading for the exit that leads to the Akarana Corridor once again.}

[The Pixie would look down at the hole where Takeno is currently standing. At first, she would say nothing as she squinted her, very much surprised about this entire situation. Few more seconds as she opens both eyes wide and covers her mouth. Naoki keeps his eyes locked with Hazama as the both of them glare at each other like dogs.] Naoki: "What's wrong, Pixie?" Pixie: "It's just that... that one looks a lot like this girl my old master was going out with." Naoki: "Is that true? How long ago was that?" Pixie: "It's been so long I couldn't say. Maybe... over 200 years in human time?" Naoki: "The Amala Network is so strange I wouldn't be surprised it can screw around with time too. If she was linked to your old master, she possibly got involved into weird things. Ask her name." [Pixie was somewhat nervous but she would yell from above, not wanting to leave her master's side.] Pixie: "Hey! Is your name Yoshiko Takenomi~? Is your dad a yakuza and do you have a boyfriend named Kazuya~?" [Penny had left already and each passing moment meant time was running out.]
Quintus noticed his allies beginning to leave. No point staying if they were safe now. He'd look one more time at the Jack Frost he had met in this strange place. He smiled in a friendly manner for once at the demon's comment. "We'll see if I'm still a chump if we meet again then. I expect you'll be a lot stronger by that point too. Then the chump will be Hazama instead. Until then...goodbye." Quin would take the COMP and head towards the hole from before. No need to stop and look at the corpse of Rowan. He'd aim to jump right through the exit gateway.

"Whoah, I asked if I knew you not if you knew my whole life's story! Yeah, that's me. That means you're the Pixie I know! That's weird, but I don't have time to chat! Thanks for covering my ass, come find us later!" She offered a friendly smile before seeing Quin leave, practically jumping in place and speeding towards the exit.

Pixie: "It is her~! Glad to see you after so long~!" [The Pixie would wave at Takeno as she leaves, and a single talon makes it back to the top of the school. Naoki however, remains unfazed, almost too confident he can deal with Mammon no problem.] Naoki: "And there he is... How do you feel after seeing somebody you knew?" Pixie: "It was nice, I missed her a lot after he dumped her~" Naoki: "...and that’s relevant why?" [Mammon would make it all the way back up as he prepares to unleash powerful wind magic. At the same time Pixie seemed to become rather melancholic in regards to her specific memories. She stopped looking down and instead looked back at the creature as more demons join in, all Naoki's companions.] Pixie: "Because he thought that doing that would make it easier for her to take it." Naoki: "What do you mean? Take what?" Pixie: "His death, it wasn't too long after that." [After the last person makes it back to the Akarana Corridor, the portal immediately closes. Back in the main platform, two more of the drawn hourglasses on the bigger hourglass would light up, only leaving one left to deal with so the path towards the north area is opened. The red lance thrusted into the ground and what it was written on it was easier to see: “…OST CLUB”. The previous four already had an idea of where to go, but with the sudden arrival with their fellow survivors, it’s like more information was being given to them. The first hourglass is to the North-East; it leads to a peaceful playground where children are playing without a single care in the world; the word “Yasuo” keeps being repeated again and again, as well as “Father” and “Mom”. The second one is far East, past the one Tot and Ene had chosen before; it leads to a solitary room full of computers with nothing but the sound of keys being pressed and the machines themselves; the phrase “Demon Summoning Program” is notorious, on top of “COMP” and finally, “Nakajima”. Finally, the third one merely reveals the busy sound of modern-day Tokyo. This one is locked, needing all six hourglasses to be activated successfully, and only two remain. In regard to the first two, anyone could access them.]
"Awesome, looks like everything's..." Tot jumps up at the sight of another corridor, through which the rest of the team had gathered.. Or well, most of it anyways. "Wasn't there someone else with ya? Guy talked about demons a lot...." Tot lets out a sigh. That makes two? That's one per trip so far... Which doesn't bode well. Still, the girl was used to it. With the others here, that meant that everyone was ready. "Either way, we've just gotta split into two more groups to take the last two. Just like our mascot suggested." Tot nods to Gouto, taking note of Raidou by extension. Though she's fairly injured, Tot's ever present cheer doesn't really let it show. At least until the girl simply falls back. With the rush of her previous fight over she gets to appreciate just how badly she'd been hurt. On top of that, since she was lacking a weapon until recently, she'd been forced to rely solely on magic, leaving her capacity for it rather drained. Still Tot'd sit for now, her new guitar-shaped weapon on the ground beside her, and tries to pretend nothing's wrong "Right... Yeah, I'm fine. Anyways, so I guess we should still go in two. I'll be ok to lead one, which I guess makes our samurai friend the other leader? Groups of three or four should be good." Tot nods to Raidou with a grin before letting the others decide
"M-mascot?" Raidou gave his partner a simple pat on the head for that one, as the pair looked over towards the returning group. One missing face stuck out clearly, making Raidou's eyes grow wide. Rowan... The summoner clenched his fist, holding back a flood of mixed emotions he didn't quite feel like confronting right now. First thing to focus on is getting out of this place, there will be time for mourning later. "You guys look even worse than the other group did, what the hell happened in there?" The feline sighed as he thought about what to do next. He could only assume the "samurai" Tot mentioned was Raidou, so he continued. "We're fine to lead another group, we didn't encounter anything life-threatening on our little adventure, unlike the rest of you, it seems. I'll reiterate my suggestion from before, if you don't feel confident in taking on another pathway, then you should probably elect to stay here. I'm not too confident in leaving anyone here alone, but while we were waiting here nothing seemed to really happen. Just stay put and don't push yourselves, and you should be fine. Contrary to what I said before, the prospect of finding out more about that Nakajima fellow is rather tempting, so let's say anyone interested in accompanying Raidou and I into that pathway can come along, otherwise you can either go with Tot into the other option, or stay here. That all sound good?"
Quintus was glad to be back but also felt as though there might have been more to do had they not had to escape so quickly. He still held the machine in his hands, unsure of where to take it but the words COMP and Demon Summoning Program take his interest. "Physically I'm fine, I don't think I took too much damage which I'd consider a win considering our area had some power mad demon lord. I may need a bit to recover my magic but I feel it would be a missed opportunity to miss out on getting this machine of mine fixed. Nakajima...Not sure who or what they are but it sounds like a name. Considering the other words they might be someone who specializes in this type of technology. In other words I think I'll go along with you, Raidou."

{As Penny arrived back at the Akarana Corridor, she carried the M16 in her tiny arms as her bugbear followed her around. Once she sees Tot, she undermines the pain she had seemingly went through and only pays attention to the fact that she’s alive. With her eyes lit up, Penny runs over towards Tot, the large gun slowing her down by a margin.} “Ooo, Miss Tot! That’s your name right? Penny got a cool gun, and some more friends! What happened over there with you? Penny wants to go with you so you can tell her.” {Just like Raidou pointed out, Rowan isn’t with them. But the little girl doesn’t seem all too phased by the loss of the party member, instead turning back to look at the others coming back. Mainly Takeno with the Espada. Penny immediately drops the M16 next to Tot and runs over to Takeno, looking up at the older woman hoping she’d give the sword to her.}
"I mean yeah, you're the little guy who hangs around the samurai and give advice and just generally do things he doesn't really want to right? That's what a mascot does." Tot lets out a little laugh. It was weird for Gotou to object to the term, but they were all different so it wasn't THAT weird. Not the weirdest thing she'd seen on this mission anyways. "Yeah, of course. Tot Pop Rockin and ready to roll!" Tot giggles a bit as she gets back to her feet, using her new guitar as a staff to pull herself up on, the girl lets out a deep breath as she smiles at Penny "So then we've got Grey going with the Samurai for the computers. The kid and I are going to the place with laughter, anyone else coming along?"
Prima had been silent for the past few minutes, mostly to catch her breath. She wasn’t feeling like she’d collapse, but the ache throughout her body still makes her hesitant to leap into the fray so soon. One... two... She counts each person present from her spot on the floor. She counts again. And again. Rowan is missing. She stares down at her clenched hands. She hadn’t known him well, but she still felt an attachment from their fight together last time. How many others will...? Prima stands up and forces a neutral expression. “I would rather not leave you two alone, so I’ll join you, Tot. Strength in numbers after all.”
The Spell Punk would need a moment to just catch itself feeling a bit worn out and needing to clam down. It pulled up its robe and readjust it before starting to pay attention to what the others were saying. The realization of knowing there was more to be done didn’t settle well at all but it made sense that it needed to continue one with the others. “This has felt so prolonged it’s gonna wear me to a thin piece at this rate. But we only have a bit more to cover so let’s divide up the resources and get through the next stretch.” The Spell Punk observed both potential paths but nothing really sends off an alarms so it decides to approach Raidou and Quintus and offers to follow them and just get through this all with haste. “Little spiked by all the hits my way but I think I can endure another round. As long as you two got no problem I’ll just keep up and keep us topside rather then down on the floor again...”

OOC: Oh wow, that's so much larger on computer than on mobile IC:Tot wastes no time getting up and pumping her fist. "Alright, that makes our set just me, the kid, and Prim here. We'll get through this next one lightning-quick and make it back in time for dinner. Good luck team!" As Tot heads out, she waves to the other set, the samurai and grey, before turning for the north-eastern hourglass. ready to begin this next step to finish their mission

Take rested Rowan's sword on her shoulder, the other hand sitting atop the hilt of her katana. As she walked into this new room with the hourglasses, she tilted her head, glancing down at Penny and back towards the hourglasses. "I... suppose it's time we split once more. Here, kid, don't hurt yourself." She hands the sword to the child, resting it on the floor and giving it a hearty pat before looking back at her objective, pondering just what she was hearing. "Yasuo... that's Kazuya! It's talking about Kazuya! It has to be! A-And Nakajima... this is where it all began, wasn't it?" After setting aside several moments to think about her decision, she stepped towards the East hourglass. "That's where he got Pascal, right? I think so... Maybe if I go here, I can find Pascal! That'll give us an edge for sure!!"

[With Ene staying behind to rest, Tot would lead her group to their chosen hourglass. As they move closer, the Akarana Corridor slowly shift itself. The stairways and platforms in the distance instead become buildings, cars and trees; the void becomes a large pond. Eventually, Tot, Penny and Prima would find themselves back in some park, somewhere in Tokyo. At first glance, it all seems to be alright, almost as if they made it back. The sky was clear but nearing sunset, and the breeze was gentle. The three would be sitting on a bench facing a pond. There are only two roads to take that lead anywhere that isn't just trees and grass. To the left, it is possible to notice a small group of stores with magazines and newspapers on display besides the candy and snacks being sold. To the other side, there was a playground with many kids running and playing around with swings, slides and merry-go-rounds as their parents watch them.]

[Raidou's group, made out Quintus, Punk and Takeno would move past the initial East hourglass and towards the one right after it. As they move along, the entire area darkens until it's absolutely void with only a single light at the end. As they keep walking, the light extends and becomes brighter, until it reveals itself as a massive screen covering an entire wall. Before they really can read anything on it, they realize they are in some kind of poorly lit control room with dozens of turned off, old-looking computer models all, except for a single one that is on in the middle right. Each row of computers was a single step lower than the last, exactly like an auditorium. On top of the previously mentioned big screen; which has in display both code and bizarre words more fitting for a black magic book, and singular turned on computer, there is an ample door behind them, seemingly unlocked.]
"Ah yeah, classic setup here. Just like the movies eh? Just gotta see what's happenin'." Tot comments with a grin as she looks around the mostly normal street. Given that this whole experience has been a time travel thing, Tot assumes this park is also a time travel thing. And like all time travelers in movies, Tot figures the best course of action is to figure out where and when they were. And the best way to do that is to casually walk over to the stores and check the newspapers.

“Mr. Bear, have you ever known what these things are like?” {Penny inquired her teddy bear, standing up from the park bench and looking out and about. When the little girl’s eyes scoured around the peaceful area, an atmosphere the girl didn’t seem too used to, she immediately saw the playground with all the other kids. Penny, still holding the sword, looked at Prima excitedly as she pointed over to where other kids were having fun.} “Ooo, Miss...Prima? Miss, what’s that? Penny never saw that in her life, and they look really fun to play with!”
The Spell Punk would glance from one side to the other and start pacing a bit in the room they just entered. “This is quite...out of my field I guess. At least it’s desolate so we can look through everything, it was important to watch your surroundings in my last hourglass at least.” It would wander over towards the large screen taking a glance to note down the door but then directing it’s gaze towards the large screen. The code and words were scrambled in a way unusual and at first nonsensical. Instead of dismissing it right away it would focus on the text displayed on the screen, looking for any patterns or significant words that the Spell Punk may understand in the slightest.
With Tot wandering around, Prima stays near Penny. Though a capable fighter, the child was still a child. She tilts her head as she ponders Penny’s question. “Hm... what do you humans call it... a schoolyard...? It’s a popular place for human children to play. Do you want to go there? I can hold your sword while you play. It’s not safe to play with sharp objects.” Prima can probably hide it under her skirt if needed. Besides, a child with a sword is usually a cause for concern. At most, children should have a pokémon or two at their sides, like a rattata or pichu.
"And, here we are. Interesting place we've got here, and I'm going to assume, since this is Nakajima we're talking about, not too safe either. Stay on your toes, everyone." Raidou glanced around at the plethora of screens all around the group. Admittedly, technology of this nature was a bit out of his realm of expertise as well, but no sense dwelling on it. Raidou joined the strange... creature(?) in taking a look at the large screen before them, as Gouto left his spot on Raidou's shoulder to explore the immediate vicinity, notably the single active monitor among the sea of powered off screens. "Oh, by the way, you mentioned Yasuo, right Yoshiko? How much do you really know about Kazuya's past, if you don't mind me prying."
Quintus would instead begin to examine the door behind them. He wanted to find this Nakajima person, whoever they were, to try and get the device he found fixed but it would be rather annoying to get into a fight while holding this machine. He wouldn't move on yet, he simply wanted to see what was outside the room they were in. "Tell me if that screen says anything important. I'm just trying to figure out exactly where we are."

{The little girl looks up at Prima, nodding her head to show her paying attention and learning more things.} "Oh, a schoolyard? It seems much more fun then that school Penny went to last time. Penny wants to play, since Daddy never let her play, just make stuff go boom. That's fun, but this is different fun!" {Penny gives Prima her sword, smiling as she hugs Mr. Bear one more time before letting him go as well, having him float beside Prima. After knowing there's nothing keeping her from having this kind of fun, she points over towards the playground and runs over there, gesturing for Prima to come watch her.} "I think Penny should go and play with the other kids! Let's go, Miss!"

Take examines a few of the old computers, tapping any keyboards, should they remain intact, and some of the monitors to test their functionality. Eventually, she comes to the big screen, leaning forward to try and decipher the words, though it was unlikely she'd recognize anything. She then turns to Goutou, shrugging. "Well, he's never been very explicit in the details, but I know most of the events.. He told me the story of what happened after the demons first invaded. In fact, I remember Pascal coming from this Nakajima person. At least, I think so..." She'd continue pacing around the auditorium, trying to see if any of the computers were still working, and if they'd offer any valuable information.

[Tot would approach the stores with the newspapers on display. This Tokyo was mostly the same as the one from long ago, but the fashion of the people walking around was quite notoriously old fashioned. Simple baggy clothes for some and jackets that strictly reach the belts on the jeans. The colors were all over the place, but most were clear. The magazines talk about the best kind of gifts and places to take fathers in their one day in the year. Finally, the newspapers themselves would be reporting on the recent death of an author of the name "Michio Takeyama" on the 15th. Today’s date being June 17, 1984.] [On the other side of the park, Penny would quickly approach the playground where all the children are playing around with all their remaining energy. Most are noticeably younger than her, averaging 6-year-olds to 9-year-olds, most also with black or brown hair, making the little girl stand out even more. Some would stop to look at her weird, and some parents sitting in the benches would too. The only thing of note regarding the parents is that all of them are a pair; a father and a mother, except for one young woman sitting on her own. The area has a pair of slides, one taller and the other shorter, as well as various swings and a single seesaw.]

[Punk and Raidou would approach the bigger screen; the intense light may make their eyes hurt for a moment as the rest of the room is completely dark. As they try to make sense of what they are seeing, they read the following: ] Reset: SEI CLC XCE CLD X16 M8 LDX #1FFFH TXS STZ NMITIME LDA #BLANKING STA INIDSP BJSR ATLUS ' EL ELOHIM ELOHO ELOHIM SEBAOTH ' ' ELION EIECH ADIER EIECH ADONAI ' ' JAH SADAI TETRAGRAMMATON SADAI ' ' AGIOS O THEOS ISCHIROS ATHANATOS ' ' AGLA AMEN ' [Gouto and Takeno would check the computer that is already on; the others are seemingly working, but are off. In the one they are checking, they realize, or at least could tell, that the operative system was not as advanced as any of those existing currently in their time. The time is set on 04:44 AM, the date being April 6, 1990. Whoever was using it now was coding something given the open program with writing similar to the one in the bigger display. Other windows show this person was checking their email from some "STEVEN". They also seemed to enjoy games, as they had a paused game of Tetris and Minesweeper with the timer still going; they were about to win. Finally, Quintus would open the door that was behind them. He would see a kind of waiting room with light only illuminating the glass table at the center with the black carpet under it and black couch. The floor was made of polished, pale blue concrete, and the walls were fully white. There are other three corridors that lead into complete darkness. There wasn't a single soul, or so it seemed so currently.]

Brushing her hair back, she leans closer to the screen and starts sweeping through the desktop of the computer, checking to see if there were any useful files laying around. "Poor bastard, they were this close to finishing. Hey! Any of you know a STEVEN, in all caps specifically?" She was no coding wizard of any sort, but she scanned through the code, hoping there would be something she could decipher in it. Alas, it was all just gibberish to her, prompting an audible grumble from the girl. "I didn't realize the necronomicon was a portable command guide. Do you guys think this has something to do with the way those COMP things work?"
"Alright, let us go." Prima conceals the sword and follows Penny off to the playground. Hopefully the two wouldn't attract too much attention aside from the stares. She decides to stand off to the side rather than sit, although lingers near the parents. This situation is kind of... nostalgic. Like when she was watched by her parents as she played with other popplio by the shore. She keeps a close eye on Penny, but also observes the rest of the area quietly - partly to just sightsee, and partly to catch Tot if she returns.
"This doesn't really explain much except show us some foreign language...Arkeyan maybe? No they are a bit to primordial to set up shop here. Still there should be something to make sense of this." It would try sweeping through the empty space on the computers and the walls looking for anything left over in the room that could clue them in. It was no where near familiar with anything tech related, it kept its distance from the active computer and just focused anywhere else. "What ever typed this up I hope they left something to make sense of it whenever it be in the room or what ever that terminal thing you are using. Just give me a heads up."

"Miss Prima, watch this!" {The little girl said as she ran over to the playground, looking in awe at every single thing that was at the park. Without thinking, she ran straight to the sets of swings, merely glancing at the other kids at this point as she hopped on the not yet aerodynamic seat.} "...how do these work again?" {Penny says to herself, walking backwards a bit and unknowingly gaining momentum before she let herself go, the swing working it's magic. Even though she wasn't really going anywhere yet, the girl's eyes widened before she smiled and giggled, as she swung slowly from side to side, getting a bit sad when her momentum was lost and the swing was at a halt.}
"Oh cool, I totally missed this era." Tot remarks as she looks in on the newspapers. The 80s sounded like a pretty wicked time, had some great music too. Though she didn't know as much about Japan back then it looked like things weren't going to be that different after all. The Michio name didn't mean anything to her, but she figured she'd probably have liked the guy. If it weren't for... Y'know. Unfortunately, the girl has a rather short attention span, and rather than head back to the group, she begins window shopping. In a way, sightseeing, looking at all the cool new stuff floating around.
Quintus would have left the room after listening for whatever the others had to comment about what they saw. He'd enter this waiting room, curious about its implication. For now it might've been smart to wait since this was a waiting room after all. He'd take a seat on the couch, though he did feel a bit wary over the direction theme of this place. "At least I can relax a bit before the others finish up their investigation. Still, wonder if we'll be able to meet this Nakajima or that Steven guy that was mentioned."
Gouto's eyes widened as the name "STEVEN" came up, and he hurried Raidou over, away from the seemingly indecipherable screen to take a look. "Yeah, I think we know him, somewhat. The name of the guy we know is spelled differently, but it seems too convenient for the name to come up here of all places. He's a programmer, for lack of a better term. Out information has some missing pieces, but we know he had something to do with the Demon Summoning Program's creation, somehow. He's also... well, something a little more than human now. Think something similar to Melbourne, but less of an ass." Raidou attempted to scroll through the emails as Quintus made his exit. The summoner glanced away from the screen as the door closed, somewhat worried at him going off alone. Still, Quintus was no idiot, and was certainly more than capable, so he had Raidou's trust to not get himself in too deep. "There's no certainty that this "STEVEN" fellow is at all related to the Stephen we know, but again, it seems too convenient. We'll just take a quick peek through these emails and then try to catch up to the broody one."

[Tot would get the attention of multiple passersby due to the simple fact she looked foreign. Some are young ladies, but most were young men. There were a pair of stores near the park where she was, most notorious being with a rather colorful logo that seemed to be some sort of candy shop from the which children just keep coming in and out with or without parents; what stands out is a teenager with straight black hair and a somewhat nasty look on his face, his eyes extremely reminiscent of the ones Raidou has. Next to it was a clothing store focused on sportswear and training gear; there is a high schooler with long brown hair and circular glasses taking his time looking at the gear from outside. Finally, and before the corner, there is a sushi store with not many people going in; A lone high school girl with long black hair seems to be wondering if she should go in, considering she keeps checking her wallet; If Tot was familiar with any Persona, then she should be able to tell this girl had a similar feel. On detail to take in is that everything is notoriously cheaper. ]

[While looking through the computer, nothing much would appear to be out of the ordinary besides some files being locked behind a password and username that the girl has no way of knowing on her own. It was clear certain sections were classified. However, a series of executable files are put inside a lone, hardly hidden folder named "JK - ASP ATZILUTH". On the other side, Punk's looking around would prove fruitless, unless of course he regarded pencils, erasers and empty notepads of any value; near the already powered computer, on the ground, there is an abandoned transparent wrapper with big and irregular "breadcrumbs" around it, like whoever was eating it either did so quickly or had a big mouth. Raidou would check the email, first the one of the one with the username "STEVEN": Mister Nakajima, It has been a while. I heard that you were capable of fully developing the first few models of your "Handheld Computer" project, and I want to congratulate you on that breakthrough. Anyone that can make computers easy to use and transport deserves nothing but praise. You remember my own project, yes? I have made some breakthroughs myself, and I want to know if we could meet up in the following days. I'm coming to Japan and will stay there for about a week. Please get back to me so we can properly schedule a day to discuss some new ideas I recently came up with. I'll be waiting. Stephen H. [The next set of emails remain unchecked by the user of this computer. They are from people named Esaki Minoru, Kazunari Suzuki, Aya Nishitani and Ryoutao Ito, all apparently co-workers. There is another one that doesn't seem to be related in any way to the previous people, as the sender is a username similar to Stephen's. It comes from someone named "NAMI". In the waiting room right outside of the main control room, Quintus decides to actually just wait around under the only light in the entire area. From here, he may notice a pair of vending machines. The first one has some chocolate snacks themed around Jack Frost and snow. The next one is nothing but soda with its big logo all over the machine; "Amrita Soda". Both were working. Their faint light reveals a clipboard with something written on it. Finally, the three corridors that take into complete darkness remain as they do, but from this position, it's clear to see that one takes to the "Elevators", the second to the "Dining Hall" and third, to "Testing".]

[Prima would stay closer to the parents' side while Penny would focus on just playing around with the swing. The seat next to the one she was using was occupied by a 10 to 11-year-old boy with a hairstyle reminiscent to a pompadour; his hair is brown and is bad at hiding his expression of interest at the girl. He keep looking at her as she loses momentum] Kid: "Hey, you. You do know you can keep going right, or did you get...bored or something?" [The kid was making weird expressions, to say the least. Almost as if he was trying to look more interesting through that. Back where Prima he was, she was able to see everything happen in the playground, from the weird kid talking to Penny, to a group of kids running all over the place, racing.] Young woman: "Excuse me, miss?" [The woman that was all alone looking at the kid would try to get Prima's attention. Her hair was brown and wavy, reaching her shoulders. Her eyes were grey in color and had a small green sweater on her side, wearing a white shirt and a blue skirt.] Young woman: "Is that girl your sister? You two have very similar hair."
The Spell Punk would reach over and pick up the Notepad and just skim through it. It flipped back to the first page on finding that it was empty and then picked up the pencil and eraser and started to wobble then both. “Not a quill or ink to work with in this place? Guess I can still work with this thing these two...objects? Whatever it shall work out.” For the next few mins the Spell Punk wanders back to the large screen and distracts itself by taking a few notes of the screen’s characters’s on it and other notes on the room that it was no where near familiar on. It was sort of fun in the most unusual way.
Tot doesn't seem to notice the strange looks she's getting, or perhaps she simply doesn't care, as if lost in her own little world. Though she does notice the dark-clothed teenager's hardened, stony look, they seem like the kind of person who's probably well-off on their own, much like the other group's leader for this ordeal, so there's no need to bother them. Looking at the prices, Tot grins and silently blesses inflation. She'd never had much money mostly working part-time jobs whenever she could. Tot checks her own pockets to see if she has any money on her before walking over to the dark-haired girl. Though Tot had never actually seen a Persona, in her line of work she'd gotten good at telling when someone's abnormal "Heya there, ya waitin' for someone?" of course she could already tell the girl wasn't, but its a good way to start a small conversation like this, a less-intrusive way to ask what they're doing.
For now, Penny is faring well aside from the difficulty with the swings. Prima had been worried at first, but the little girl seems to have made a new friend, so she’s fitting in already. Prima blinks a few times upon hearing the woman. Oh, right. Penny and herself stick out, so it would be natural to assume that, especially with their unusual hair. “Ah, no. She’s not related to me, but I’m looking after her at the moment for a friend. A bit odd, but she’s a nice girl at heart.”

{As she notices the boy in the swing beside her looking at her with a weird expression, she looked back with a raised eyebrow, the girl trying to process what the boy was saying. When she puts 2 and 2 together though, all she really could do was giggle a bit before responding.} "Bored? This is really fun! I dunno know how they work though." {The little girl looks down at the ground and kicks it, shaking the swings a little. Her eyes widen a bit before she kicks the ground some more, seeing the swing get a bit excited makes her excited as well. Penny thinks to herself to think of a question before looking back at the boy.} "Can you show Penny how to swing a swing? Penny wants to know."
Quintus would try to pick up the clipboard and look it over. Seemed like a bit of a random thing. While trying to get a handle on what it said he'd begin walking over to one of the vending machines almost in an absent minded state. He wasn't sure what kind of coins it would take or if he even had the right type of money but if he could something compelled him to want to try this Amrita Soda. He wasn't sure as to what the reason was but it almost felt as if something otherworldly made him want it.

Take tapped her chin as she took note of the oddly-named folder, scanning through all the executable files. She didn't bother touching any quite yet, raising her hand as if she was in a classroom. "There's a bunch of files in here, and they're executable programs. Who wants to volunteer to click the button just in case it sucks your soul out?" She also noticed the locked files and raised a brow, checking the monitor just in case the password or username is written down there. "Check around to see if you can find any log in information! There's some locked files over here too."
"I knew it." Gouto murtered, as he and Raidou read the email. The summoner glanced at the date once again, April 6th. For the sake of being thorough, he checked the date attached to the email from Stephen, perhaps if they found the owner of the computer, assumedly Nakajima himself, they could intercept Stephen while he was here. He was always a figure worth meeting with, in Raidou's experience. Mm. Hearing his companion's call, he'd check around his immediate vicinity and anywhere on the computer itself for anything about login information. After doing so for a few minutes, he would then tirn his attention to the next suspicious email, from one "NAMI".

[Tot would find her money was still as it was before being pulled into this bizarre adventure, in the same exact amount, the only main difference being that each bill and coin was changed to fit the current times, as if they had all been put into circulation during the early 80s. The black haired would turn to meet Tot's gaze and at first, would seem a bit taken by surprise considering the girl's look, but would try to act normal, realizing she herself was quite possibly being rude.] Black-haired girl: "Oh! Uhm, no, no I am not. I was just wondering if I really should go in and have some food, really." [She would put her arms on her back, holding her left wrist with her right hand.] Black-haired girl: "I already told my friends I'm on a diet..." [The kid would keep making exaggerated expressions fitting for some kind of bad soap opera. Seeing an "older girl" speak in third person as if she was six was off-putting, but he seemed to be willing to run with it.] Jun'ya: "My name is Jun'ya, just so you know. 'Pennie'...? Whatever. Just look at me, white face." [He would use the tip of his toes to move back while holding onto the swing. Soon enough he would press his legs under the swing as it moves forward, and before it can begin to move back, he would impulse both legs forward, and then back to make the swing gain more velocity, and then at the furthest point back, he would impulse himself forward, each cycle making him go higher.] Jun'ya: "It's easy, you just have to keep doing this! The fun is getting as high as you can!" [The young woman nods gently at Prima's clarification, then staying quiet for the next few second, clearly trying to think about what to talk next. She would scratch her left cheek as she continues to make conversation.] Young woman: "She... looks nice, even if she stands out among the other kids. I'm here with my son, I wanted him to make some friends and get distracted. He's the one over there, with the brown hair and green shirt." [She would point at one of the kids running with the others. The kid would have the same eyes as the woman, including its grey color and eyebrows. In general, the mother and the son would look very much similar to one another. At this point, Prima should be getting some feelings of familiarity.] Kana: "I'm so sorry for not introducing myself! My name is Kanako Yasuo, it's a pleasure to meet you! But you can call me Kana, if you feel comfortable enough." [Her smile would be a shy, somewhat worried one, but gentle, as if trying to let her know she was being as sincere as she could be.]

[Punk would find that the random notepad and pencil just laying around there at random to be useful. He does not find out anything else rather than the evidence of various people using this room at a single time, but that these people had left hours prior. As Yoshiko checks the strange folder further, she finds that every single executable file has a similar naming scheme: "ASP v0.86", "ASP v0.88", "ASP v1.90", etc. There is about twelve different versions of what seems like the same program. The date Stephen's email was sent was around 5 days prior, on April 1st. After checking the date, Raidou would look around to see if he is able to find anything related to a password or username but has no luck. The restricted files are to remain restricted. Finally, he would check the other email:] It's been a while, Akemi-kun! It's Yumiko! I guess you're still working for the government and on your COMP thingie, because I really haven't heard anything from you for weeks now, and not even you mom knows! You really should start paying more attention to those around you, we are all worried! You better reply this time, I miss you already. Come see me soon! [In comparison to the previous email, this one seemed a bit more private. It's dated April 4th. Quintus would check the clipboard and see a series of different names, with only "Akemi Nakajima" standing out for him. The piece of paper by itself was nothing complicated, each name had two different boxes, he first one related to their turn, and the second one to overtime. Most names had signed for the first one, including Nakajima, but this man was the only one to sign in for overtime. Then, regarding the vending machine, Quintus would find that he still had the money he had before getting dragged in, but merely modified for it to be accepted during their current time. Due to this, it would be easy to get a single can of this "Amrita Soda". The entire area was mostly silent, if not for the voice of those still inside and the white noise created by the still working electronics, and a faint constant sound of footsteps echoing from one of the hallways, getting clearer very slowly. He should be able to tell it was coming from either a demon or a Persona, but it was still too far away to be able to tell what it was.]
"Well come on then." Tot could tell at a glance that the sushi was something the other girl wanted, but they were largely worried about what people might think of them for it, and maybe that they'd feel guilty. Hoping to ease these fears Tot puts arm around the younger girl, in a somewhat intrusive show of affection, and gives them a grin. "Name's Jessica Praise, though my friends call me Tot. As ya mighta guessed I'm new to this town, so it'd be nice for ya to show me the spots. Of course least I could do is treat ya for the trouble" though Tot was far from rich, she still had a fair amount of money on her at all times, enough for a night or two. With everything as cheap as they are now, it'd be easy for Tot to treat the black-haired stranger to dinner. "Any of your friends show up n' ya can even introduce me. Sound good?"

{The little girl, not at all knowing of the age gap between the two of them, looks at Jun'ya swinging back and forth as if she was being taught the path to enlightenment. Her eyes were bright, and she almost remembered back then when her father taught her about the military and war for the first time...until she remembers that she does not like him now and proceeds to respond to Jun'ya.} "Woah, that's super cool! Penny can do that, watch her!" {Using her aptitude, she copies the boy's movements step by step, it was almost creepy how accurate she got it to a tea considering this is still her first time knowing how to swing on a swing. As she gets higher and higher, she laughs more and more, feeling the air and stupidly reaching outwards towards the sky with a single arm that should be holding onto the swing instead of her legs.} "Tee-hee, I'm having lots of fun! I wish daddy taught me about this sooner!"
Though the appearance and even name seem familiar, Prima can’t pin down exactly why. But if something’s telling her these two are important, then she should trust her feelings. She bows politely. “A pleasure to meet you, Kana. My name is Primarina, although everyone just calls me Prima. And the girl I’m looking after at the moment is Penny.” Speaking of Penny, the girl’s having fun. She’s finally got the hang of those swings thanks to her new companion. Prima wonders who the girl’s true parents are... why leave a human child alone to wander? And are they the reason for Penny’s odd behavior? So many questions, but not the time to ask them. “What’s your son’s name, by the way?”
The Spell Punk would scribble down some more notes noting the little evidence showing that everyone in the room has left and hours have passed by. “Well it seems there is not much else to look around except in these damn boxes which is out of my field. I’ll take a gander in the next room since you all seem to have it under control.” With that the Spell Punk would drift over to the door and go through to see what was going on over there any seeing if anything of interest would catch his attention.
Quintus would go ahead and gather up some coins to try and buy an Amrita soda with, stowing it in his pocket for later. He'd notice Punk entering the waiting room as well as he listened in on the odd footsteps. "Tell the others that there's a demon of some kind lurking nearby. I guess I'll go and try to further investigate." He didn't expect things to already be getting so complicated. He could set down the device he was carrying if needed but he'd rather just observe what it was they were dealing with or if need be simply talk it down. "He'd head over to the halls, listening to try and figure out what hallway it was coming from. If it was still hard to determine he'd simply begin to slowly walk down the one labeled testing.

Scanning through the different versions of the mysterious file, she tapped her chin and let out a grumble of confusion. "ASP? A... summoning program? Maybe that's what the SP stands for? I guess using that assumption, maybe these are the different versions of the demon summoning program? Maybe I should test it...." She hovers the cursor over the most recent version of the file she could find, hoping that this would be the most stable one, looking around to the others in the room. "I'm gonna click a file and see what happens, just a word of caution! This might do something bad!" Taking a deep breath she decided to try and open the file, scooting away from the computer just in case the file immediately did something dangerous.
Raidou examined the email, trying to piece a little bit together about this Nakajima fellow. Akemi Nakajima, assumedly, though it was entirely possible that this rig belonged to someone other than him, it seemed unlikely. "Quite a workaholic, still, interesting as that may be, I don't see much else for us to get from reading through his emails for the time being." Raidou nodded, and watched as the Punk made his exit, offering a slight wave as he leaned away from the computer. He'd turn to Yoshiko, and nod as she offered him her warning while Gouto continued. "Seems we've combed through everything we could from our end, so go for it. No login information or anything like that to be found, so it's all on you now."

[The girl would blush at Tot's sudden show of affection and tried to look away as she introduced herself. Although it was embarrassing, she couldn't help but join in her joyful way of being.] Yumiko: "Y-Yes, that sounds like fun...! My name is Yumiko Shirasagi, it's a pleasure to meet you Jessica... uhm... Tot!" [She would play with her long hair, still rather nervous about the entire idea. She had heard foreigners were more of the "in your face" type of people, but she was really not expecting to meet one so suddenly, let alone hang out with her. She would walk the two inside after a few more moments of indecision, and after getting a seat for the two, she would finally be brave enough to speak again.] Yumiko: "Uhm...! Tot, what brings you to Japan? Or were you already from this country?" [Jun'ya would try to match the girl's own new heights, but would do so barely, actually getting scared of going too high. He, of course, brave and strong man that he is, would not let the girl see it.] Jun'ya: "Of course he wouldn’t teach you, parents are always noisy and busy! You need to go out and your own and find the fun stuff yourself! But not too far from home because they then get super angry at you!" [After a few moments, he would let the swing lose its speed a bit more, he had enough of trying to go too high, and as such, once on the ground, the would very much exaggerate him needing air.] Jun'ya: "Going up is... extremely, super-duper fun!!" [He would laugh, but he was visibly nervous, at least for a moment. Around the same time, Kana would giggle at Prima's weird name. She didn't want to comment on it, because that would seem very rude. Regardless, she felt like it may be okay to use her nickname right about now.] Kana: "Oh! Don't tell me I didn't say that, I'm sorry Prima! The name of my son is Kazuya...Yasuo, like me." [She would say his name casually, although she would falter a bit with the surname. She would look away and fidget a bit with her fingers. She had no rings, so it seemed like she was not married, unlike the rest of the parent duos near them.] Kana: "I'm glad he's able to play with other kids here, he doesn't speak much at school. I've been watching him play around for a while now… sorry if I called you out of nowhere, I was uhm, just getting a tiny bit bored! And you give this…kind aura, too. Like you are a nice person."

[Punk would join Quintus on the waiting room, and so he would be able to feel as Punk. Like a demon or perhaps a Persona was slowly approaching them. Quintus would also obtain a single can of sweet and refreshing Amrita Soda, Delicious and good for your body, now available in new and exciting flavors: Chaotic Cooler, Lawful Lemon and the rare Neutral Natural. You're loving it, Am-I-Right-A? Anyways, Quintus would be easily be able to tell it was coming from the one labeled as "Dining Hall", which is directly in front of the door leading back to the computer room; the other two being on the same side as said door, "Testing" to the left, and "Elevators" to the right. The footsteps become easier to hear for a moment, but then, they stop. They would be able to hear yet another type of sound, that of keys being pressed rapidly far into the distance. Then, silence again. At around this time, Yoshiko would execute the most recent version of the programs, that is, "ASP 1.90". The screen would become just like the one on the bigger screen on the front, but now even more letters would join in, line after line of codes and bizarre words. At the end, the Hexagram of Solomon would be formed all over the screen and at the bottom of the very same, letters would slowly appear, one at a time:]
Quod Superius Macroprosopus, Quod Inferius Microprosopus.
[Right after, the computer turns off and so does the bigger screen, leaving the entire room in complete, absolute darkness. Similar to the other room in the which Quintus and Punk were currently at, there was no other sound but that of their breathing. However, Gouto may be able to look around, given his cat status. If the pay enough attention, they could realize something fleshy was moving around, like crawling on something or perhaps trying to pull itself out of a small orifice of some kind.]
"Nice to meet ya too Yumi!" The other girl had already taken to Tot's nickname, so she thought it fine to give them one back. Tot heads in with her new friend. Tot's never been one to leave space in a conversation so she'd go into herself without needing to be asked "With the name and all its pretty obvious I stick out a bit, but I've never really let that worry me. I'm from New York, one of the biggest cities back in the US. Moved over here a while back for a job. Mostly end up fixing out odds and ends and all that. Doesn't pay super well but its a cool experience." In fact her main job usually didn't pay at all, but that's what the side jobs were for, helping to get by while keeping up her main gig, but while Tot could talk for a while, it'd also be good to drive the subject away from there, so she starts asking Yumiko about herself "You're still a student right? What school do ya go to around here? I'll need to know where ta find ya if you feel like skippin' out." Tot grins in a half-joking matter that betrays her own delinquent past. Something to keep the conversation going.

{Penny gleefully listened to Jun'ya as she swung around, used to looking at the heights but still excited to see them herself outside of a flying machine. As he got back to the ground, Penny looked at him, ultimately forgetting how to slow down quickly as she just swung up and down, the distance of voice shifting ever so slightly whenever the little girl spoke with him.} "So, uh...Jun'ya...wait, how-...how does Penny slow...down again?...Penny likes the heights...because Daddy let her play with jets...but Penny forgot how...to slow down..." {The little girl, keeps her legs stiff in hopes the momentum is lost, but she only barely manages to lose air time by a little. She looks over at the other kids running and points at them as she swung up in the air some more.} "Ooo, there are a lot...of kids over there!...Penny is...Penny wants...Jun'ya, do you know...them? Penny...wants to play with other kids...you were nice...so Penny wants to see how they're like..."
Prima blinks. Did she hear that correctly? Kazuya... Yes, this is starting to sound familiar. This must be Kazuya’s mother. Prima is no expert on human relationships, but they mate for life, so something may have caused her to lose a loved one. But why not have the ring? Prima decides not to pry. She can tell it’s a sensitive subject. She bows her head. “It is fine. I’m told I’m easy to talk to. And I have a feeling Kazuya is a bright boy. He’ll have no problem making friends with similar interests if he puts his mind to it.” She glances at Penny, who’s swinging up high. Does that little girl have troubles with fellow human children as well? She’s found one friend, but that could be an outlier...
The dining hall...quite literally the hall leading to the dining room. Quintus would be suspicious of something wandering around this area but it was probably better to at least investigate what it was rather than waiting for it to come to them. He tried to keep quiet even speaking to punk. "Found them...Gonna see if I can get a look at them..." With that Quin would slowly walk down the dining hall, even trying to avoid making any noise with his feet as he approached.

Take hops up from the computer, prepared for the computer to attack her, though it appeared that her imagination got the better of her this time. "Well shit... Looks like that busted the whole set up. I hope you were all satisfied with the information you got. Something tells me this piece of junk just let out its last breath with that." She steps away from the computers, walking down towards where the larger screen was once projecting, a hand resting leisurely on the handle of her blade. "So, if we can find out whatever was written on the larger screen, we'll be able to figure everything else out. It's all in a similar code from what that computer showed me. But I get the feeling we're not gonna find that out in peace."
The Spell Punk would be slowly following right behind Quintus just to back him up knowing there was some demon now present around here. It would trail with absolute caution trying to not make a disturbance of noise. It would try to talk quietly to just to inform Quintus. ”I’ll be ready just fall back if they try to confront you. It will be easier to line a shot up in this narrow hallway.” It would move to rest by a wall and prepare itself. It couldn’t really have a look at the creatures but tried to just hear a bit more attentively to understand what’s going on in that dining room.
Raidou blinked in surprise as the room became encompassed by darkness. He squinted as his eyes adapted to the sudden change, and nodded in response to Yoshiko. Gouto, meanwhile seemed to be on higher alert. He scanned the room as the atmosphere changed, and picked up on something distinctly... wrong. "You two, on your toes! Something ain't right here, a cat knows these things. Now, before we have any more chatter, we should back outta here. Carefully, watch your step, but don't waste anytime. I'll do my best to guide you out." Raidou took the warning pretty seriously, and would move towards the door towards the lit waiting room, following the guidance of Gouto as he did so. He was hopeful Yoshiko would do the same, and if worst came to worst he was prepared for some kind of fight in this dark room.

Yumiko: "I'm not actually from Tokyo, I'm here for a few days only with my dad since he's having a few days off, really, we come from Sapporo. He's dealing with a few work-related things before I meet up with him." [The girl smiles at Tot with both eyes closed as she orders some engawa as the waiter approaches. He would only wait for whatever it was Tot desired.] Yumiko: "I hope he's finished soon, today is Father’s Day and I'm hoping we can do something unique..." [She would look down at her own clothes, like wondering if she made the right choice after Tot made a comment regarding her high school. She figured there was no pain in telling her how she felt, even if it was a bit embarrassing.] Yumiko: "Yes! I am still in high school and I'm also having a few days off but ah... you see, it's just that... this uniform is really cute and I'm used to wearing it during the week, so it's really hard for me to go back to just casual clothes..." [Jun'ya would finally recover his usual way of being, that is, exaggerated and over the top. He would leave his swing and walk in front of the swing, not enough so he would get hit by it though, since he wanted to see her from the front with both hands pressed against his hip and tapping his left foot on the ground repeatedly.] Jun'ya: "Just stop moving your legs and then when it's slow enough, stop yourself by using the ground, like brakes! I have no idea what your deal is, but for an older girl, you are really weird!" [He would stand there until Penny decided to, or rather, figured out how to get off the swing without getting hurt or somehow making it way more complicated than it really was. At the other side, a group of kids would be playing tag, including the young Kazuya.] Kana: "He's bright, but... not many kids his age are interested in things like those brick-like computer thingies, or spirits and urban legends. The only thing he shares with other boys is that Feather...Ranger or something show." [She would scratch her left cheek, pensive.] Kana: "I sometimes wonder if it's because of me. He has a slightly easier time talking to girls, but it's still not by much. I can't even take him to places like this often because of my job...and my parents always said that a mother must make sure their child grows up to be a fine adult. If he's having issues, then..." [The young woman would take a deep breath and then a loud sigh, holding her left hand near her chest.] Kana: "What am I saying...? This must be so much to take in..."

[Quintus and Punk would slowly make their way through the dining hall, now being able to make a slightly dim green light illuminating a black shirt and someone's mouth. Although they could now tell this aura was that of a god, with something slightly off to it, it was clear this other being was at least in a human form, and they had not noticed them just yet. This man would keep walking forward, not caring if his footsteps were being heard by anyone, or rather, it was more like he already knew someone else was around besides him.] ???: "Just attack them first chance you get." [He would say to no one. Interestingly, and as luck would have it, the man would somehow pass them both without noticing him in the dark, seemingly solely focused in the light at the waiting room. As he approached the light, more features of him would be clear. He was a young man barely past his 20s, of average height and slightly wavy black hair, who was carrying an old looking laptop on his right hand, tightly pressed against his hip. This man looked almost exactly like Ideo Hazama, the “Deity Emperor” from their angle. Back inside the room, the complete darkness of the area would make it very difficult to move around for both Yoshiko and Raidou, but Gouto, again, would prove to be just fine. In looking around the area, the cat would see it, whatever it was the changed the atmosphere of the area. On the ceiling, at first would be a leaking of some kind, the liquid merely staining the concrete and paint, rarely dripping. The stain would grow bigger and bigger as the liquid would become more viscous with each passing millisecond and begin to gain mass. The fleshy sound would become more intense, the stain on the ceiling would begin to grow bubbles of muscular tissue at random and attempt to cover itself up in skin, this one swelling right away and getting all putrid before falling on to the floor making a loud splashing noise right next to Yoshiko, the flesh already letting out a foul scent. White fur was rapidly growing at random while half of the body of a severely disfigured, giant canine was forming on top of them, making its way down to the mostly unaware girl as the back part of itself was still getting its form. The jaws would only be bones still and a single white eyes appeared as it prepared to bite the girl’s entire head off clean, although with some apparent issues, as this demon was twitching and in agony.]
Quintus wouldn't waste any time after what he had heard. Their supposed assailant seemed to be heading towards the others, but more importantly he was looking for information. He'd begin trying to hold the device in one hand and unsheathe a sword in the other. He'd take the blade and attempt to sneak up behind the man. If he could he would take the blade and try to hold it up to his neck from behind before speaking, trying to keep his voice down so only those nearby could hear him. "Attack who exactly? I'd hope you don't mean us. I was hoping to not resort to violence. ...Hey, Punk. Go make sure the other in the dining hall hasn't noticed us." The similarity to Hazama would be unsettling but it seemed unlikely that this was the same person given he didn't seem to notice them right away.

"Oooo...brakes! I know...what those are!" {Now realizing what she had to do, the little girl looks for the best time to try and stop herself and the swing from moving. She's had experience driving a tank before, so stopping a swing should be easy. Once the swing gets slower, the little girl doesn't even try to wait anymore as she just kicks her feet into the ground, making the swing stop on it's own even as it was still going considerably high and fast. Though there was still a cloud of dust covering her, the impact of the sudden stop wasn't strong enough to reach Jun'ya.} "Penny isn't really used to others calling her older. It's usually Penny who is youngest, since I'm in a family of 3 older siblings. They're all cool! Do you have any siblings Jun'ya?" {The little girl speaks to him, walking out of the dust cloud and brushing her tights where her knees were. Penny smiles to herself, wiping the dust off her boots as well as she looks back on how she calculated the exact point where she could finish soonest, and not have a cloud of dust go to Jun'ya, while also accumulating the least dust on her boots. If only she could do this on the battlefield more often too. Penny silently blames her daddy for this shortcoming as she looks past Jun'ya and gets a clear view of the other kids playing tag. Mainly the unimportant looking kid with the brown hair.} "Jun'ya, how come you don't play with the other kids? Penny wants to! She needs to run to see how fast she goes, and I also want to see how many other kids are younger than Penny. You did say Penny was an older girl, right?"

Take practically jumped in place, letting out a light squeak as she turned to the general area where the fleshy sound came from nearby. She took a moment to examine it more closely, and as soon as she could perceive the creature forming into a gaping maw she didn't hesitate at all. She drew her sword, slashing what she thought was the flesh-slime's head once. "T-The hell?! What is this?!" Despite how unnecessary it seemed, she persisted in attacking, slashing at least three more times at the twitching, writhing monster.
"Oh really? I guess you're probably gonna meet up with him after this huh?" Tot chuckles a little to herself before the waiter arrives. She'd order some Ebi Nigiri for herself, brushing a few stray hairs out of her face with a smile "Yeah it does look pretty well on ya. That's one good thing about moving to Japan. We don't have nearly as many cute school girls back in the US." Tot makes sure to observe Yumiko's reaction with a grin to see how the younger girl reacts to her teasing before adding "You'll wanna take him somewhere cool today for sure then. What kinda stuff's your father into anyways?"
The Spell Punk would simply nod and advance forward to the dining hall at trying to stick right to the wall and drag ever so slowly as it tried to listen at first through the door frame. “Doing this solo feels like a sentence for death but... It would quit whispering to itself and take a quick poking glance to look into the dining room to get an idea of what the other individual was like and the room itself but it would not linger and slip back into the hallway’s darkness once it got a good look.
“I don’t have children of my own,” and no human ones at that, “so my advice is limited, but I still believe you are doing what you can, and that’s good. I can tell he means a lot to you. I have a feeling he’ll warm up to others eventually, but I’d say you should do what you can for now. If anything, perhaps let him know you’re open to listen if he’s facing problems.” She knows little about human children, but knowledge from caring for her pod’s young ones and her own experience would suffice - she hopes, at least. Kazuya would do something great, and even now she knows his mother is kind. Hopefully this place’s Kazuya will live a relatively good life... That’s just a hope. All these hopes mean nothing in this place. ...She’s getting into a spiral. Time to set her mind back on track.
Raidou's composure broke as the fleshy sound echoed throughout the room. He tried to remain calm as he began to approach the figure, but Gouto interrupted, calling out for him to stop. "Hold it Raidou! Above you, something's coming up behind her!" Raidou would examine the area above Yoshiko's head in his peripheral vision, squinting as he tried to notice even the smallest movement. He could swear he saw something creeping, just behind the girl. As-if a lightbulb went off in the detective's head, he drew and activated one of his summoning tubes in his off hand while drawing his revolver with the other. The eerie green glow of the device was dim at best, but something was better than nothing. Hoping that would be enough, he squinted and leveled his trusted gun at the site he was... mostly sure there was movement and fired, the firearm roaring and breaking the stiffening silence of the room previously.

[Yumiko would cover her cheeks as they blush and giggles after Tot's compliment. She knew people in other countries were as big into uniforms as her own, but still, to be called cute was something she couldn't brush off. She would drink a bit of water, but her blush and smile were there to stay.] Yumiko: "My dad... hmm, good question. I know he likes baseball a lot but there aren't any games happening right now, and even if there were, I'm totally sure they have sold out." [Their sushi would arrive shortly after, being as their order wasn't particularly complicated. Saying "thanks for the food" before getting the first piece into her mouth. She would keep thinking. In the end, she doesn't come up with anything, and decides that the best alternative too this issue was...] Yumiko: "Tot! You must know about men though, right? What do you think they like? I know foreigners are super into dating all the time!" [She says this with a glint in her eye, and a big, innocent smile. Meanwhile back at the park, as you would.] Jun'ya: "Siblings...! I don't really have any, I'm the only man in the house! Besides my dad, who is a superman, the only one slightly better than myself." [Then Penny would reveal her desires to play with the other children, so the younger one would smirk and take her by the hand, leading her to the group of kids that suddenly stopped running, seemingly to greet him back. One of them is the younger Kazuya, with a pure white t-shirt and grey shorts, short brown hair. Another is a boy with very short black hair and a tank top, constantly squinting. Another has long, puffy brown hair that almost made him look like a girl; his mannerism are gentle and careful as he wears a red shirt. ] Jun'ya: "These are the friends I made today, the scary looking one is Take-chi, the one that looks like a girl is Yumi and the one that doesn't stand out is Futsuo!" The kids: "It's Takeshi, idiot!/Sorry, my name is actually Yuji/ But uhm... I'm, my name is Kazuya..." [Jun'ya would let out a single "hah" before showing the girl off.] Jun'ya: "Look guys, she's my girlfriend. I told you I had one!" The kids: "That's a lie, stupid!/...Is she though?/ Really... ? She's too old..." [Kana, who was looking down as Prima spoke lifts her head up with a bit more confidence in herself, feeling even a little bit glad she was able to get something other than content. At this distance, she was even able to tell what the kids were saying, that being her son, Prima's friend and the other strange kids.] Kana: "You are really easy to talk to. What you say feels so obvious but... it just evaded my mind with all the worries, it's nice that someone could remind me what I have to do. Even if things get bad, we must keep moving forward, don't we...?" [Her voice and eyes expressed genuine gratitude towards the girl before continuing.] Kana: "What does your name mean, miss? Do you know?" [She would keep her eyes on Kazuya, all meek among the other boys.] Kana: "Names are all full of tons of meaning, kind of like flowers! My own name means "Child of music", because they hoped I would become a musician of some kind, but... I ended up being more interested in flowers as whole... I like music a lot though and sing from time to time! But I just... could never learn to play anything, you know?" [She laughs after the last bit, trying to cover up how enthusiastic she got over the analysis of meaning on things. She rubs the back of her head, smiling with both eyes closed. It even almost seemed like she was about to show her tongue while doing so.]

[The fleshy canine would pitifully fall on the ground in response to Yoshiko's attacks. Really, her cuts worked a little too well as the flesh falls off with no problem from the bone and making more and more of the splashing flesh sound. Raidou's shoots do manage to cut the thing in half quite easily, now making it clear that this attempt at life was a demon being summoned and materializing into the world. The summoning tube's light was not much, but it indeed helped at making everything easier to see, including the ruined canine at Yoshiko's feet. She may notice her hair had some drool in it, and her shirt was stained with the demon's blood. For the moment, it seemed like it was dead. Upon closer inspection, it was clear it was a Cerberus.] ???: "You're right, had I known you were around, I would've attacked you. It's not very smart to break into a secret facility like you just did it. The Japanese government wouldn't think twice but to make you disappear completely if it needed to." [The man makes no attempt to get away, he didn't even seem scared by Quintus' action, even if surprised. At the same time, he realized there were other people inside the room, be it because he's smart or because a girl just screamed and there were gunshots right after.] ???: "I hope you understand I had to deal with you, considering the illegal nature of your actions." [As Punk moves forward towards the Dining Hall, he can see a bright light coming from up ahead, blinding him before pushing him all the way back to the Waiting Room, making him crash against the wall and falling on the couch. An Angel would slowly reveal itself before it attacks Quintus with a similar force, knocking him against the same spot and falling on top of Punk. The man would step out of the shadows followed by Angel. This man, although eerily similarly looking to Hazama, didn't have the same mocking grin and malicious eyes. Instead, he was the one expecting answers.] ???: "Your names. Tell me what you saw." [Angel herself prepared herself to attack and the man had a gun on his hand now, possibly given to him for security reasons. The weird entity he was feeling was finally that of the man in front of him; that of a god, separate from the demonic one Angel had.]
Seems that whatever that Angel was with him, it wasn't something Quintus could fool. There didn't seem much a point in keeping things secret anyway. "My name is Quintus and I saw nothing. I didn't really care about all those computers and whatever. I only came here to find a Nakajima. Also, I want to reiterate...I came here, not broke in. Wasn't exactly my choice to break into a government facility, neither did I know that's what this was. Been to a lot of weird places today so it wouldn't have surprised me if this was just some weird office dimension." Given the force they were hit with, fighting back didn't seem completely viable. He also wanted to know exactly what this entity was but his question likely would get ignored anyway. They were the ones being questioned now.

{She hummed happily to herself as she let Jun'ya take her by the hand and meet the other three kids that were playing tag. Penny didn't really listen that much to the conversation they were having...at least not until he mentioned the word 'girlfriend'. She blinked her eyes in shock and looked back at him, the question only being said out of reflex.} "A what?" {The little girl had to look at the other boys only for a quick second before her brain started tuning into what they were saying. Of course, since she didn't want to completely embarass her friend Jun'ya, she cleared her throat before getting her voice back to that tone. The tone that defines Penny.} "Wait, wait, don't tell me...Ah, my big sister Isabella has a boyfriend named Will! So a girlfriend is like...a boyfriend in reverse? Yeah, yeah! That's so cool, Jun'ya!" {Penny waves at everyone else happily, laughing to herself as she has to act even more stupid than she already is. As she spoke more, her eyes surfed through everyone in an attempt to scan how they looked in a quick manner. Even though Kazuya was last, her big yellow eyes kept contact with his for a bit longer than the other boys.} "So Takeshi, Yuji, and Kazuya...Hi, nice to meet you all! Penny's name is Penny, and she's Jun'ya's friend-girl, right Jun'ya?"
The Spell Punk would take the brunt force and groan once it straightens itself only to realize that it’s problems were far from passing. Another fight in such a unfavourable position was quite unwise so it would try to play it safe and go along with the conversation. “I am a simple Spell Punk of sorts and similarly I did not see anything of concern aside from well...being forced slammed into a wall. As for why I’m here? It’s rather along similar lines as this fellow right here I suppose.” It would gesture over to Quintus as if to let him steer the talk since the Spell Punk really lacked anything else to interject and explain. It would just stay in its spot knowing not to dude anything brash and just pay attention.
"Oh, right. Uh..." Tot shifts nervously a bit before eating one of her sushi pieces to stall for time. Truth is she hadn't actually dated anyone before, so it was an odd question for her. However, she does remember hearing all the other girls talk about stuff like that "Well usually the guys'd take the girl out for something they like, but if sports are out you could try a movie? Guys like all those action movies coming out. Maybe you could take him to one of those?"
“It’s easier to take advice from others than yourself, I suppose. Especially with thing like this.” Even when she’s down, there’s always the others to keep her on track. The Primarina of the past wouldn’t have even considered risking her life to this extent, or standing up for herself. Moving forward. That’s what she has to do now regardless. Ah, so the trio are here. Is this Penny’s first encounter with them aside from Kazuya? She just hopes for a good impression on both sides. And as for names... how does she put this? She knows trainers give meaningful names to their pokémon, but her only nickname is Prima, a shortening of Primarina. Prima... rina... “Hm... even if you never went into it as a career, music is still a nice hobby to have. It’s something that can be enjoyed by anyone. Now that I think about it, singing runs in my family, so maybe that’s the ‘prima’ part of my name. I’ve heard the term ‘primadonna’ before.”

As the mushy Cerberus falls into a pile of gross demon viscera, she gave one more swing of her blade onto the corpse, making sure it stayed down for the time being. She tried to clean off her now blood and drool-soaked clothes, but after a while simply gave up. "I guess it was a matter of time before we met a gross one... Eugh. Hey wait, that's a Cerberus! Err... was?" She tried to use the light from the summoning tube to get an idea of where she was, carefully stepping around the demon and moving towards the tube. "Assuming it was the computer who summoned the demon, maybe we can get one that's a little more err... sapient. If we do, maybe a quick conversation can get them on our side!"
Raidou winced at the gross sight, before shaking it off. He shrugged, and stepped towards Yoshiko. "Maybe so. I don't quite enjoy the idea of stumbling around in the dark, though. If you'd like to take another jab at that computer you're more than welcome to, we'll watch your back. I for one think leaving might be a better call, though. Either way, we'll get that exit door open and try to give ourselves a bit of breathing room. Some extra light wouldn't hurt either." The summoner nodded, and stumbled towards the door Quintus and Punk left through hoping to get it open and prop it there with his foot. He recalled the lights being rather dim in the waiting room area, but it was better than nothing.

Yumiko: "But action movies are all american, I wonder if he'll like those..." [She eats slowly and properly, piece by piece, showing off her delicate way of doing things, with such a sweet and proper pace it almost made her looks like part of royalty, or the imperial family.] Yumiko: "There's a movie theater nearby, I remember seeing a movie about...about this man with a brown hat and a whip...I have no idea if it's action, it looks more like a weird comedy." [She plays with her hair, with a slight blush on her cheeks while allowing herself to smile, just a bit.] Yumiko: "I could never tell, I'm a fan of Footlose myself, you see." [The three kids would "Hmm" at the same time, in different tones based on their current type of disbelief, meanwhile Jun'ya feigns his pride through the absolute bull he's giving them, which seems to be a bit older than Penny's own presence in this current time.] Jun'ya: "That's right!" [He rubs his nose with his index finger.] Jun'ya: "Pennie is my girlfriend since forever, so you guys can stop calling me a liar." Takeshi: "Sure, whatever you say." Yuji: "We need to talk for now." Kazuya: "T...Talk about wha-?" [Takeshi and Yuji would look at each other with a serious kind of expression before pulling Kazuya to them. The three would put an arm over the other's shoulder as they talk privately from the other two, although not quietly enough for them not to be heard. In fact, it was stupidly easy to tell what they were saying.] Yuji: "I'm sure that is all a lie, she's too old for someone like him." Takeshi: "Obviously, I mean he had me fooled for a sec...b-but! I did have the feeling he was just tryin' to impress!" Kazuya: "But why would he lie about something like that...?" Yuji: "Maybe...because he wants to be like an anime character...? It makes some sense to me." [The trio would lift their head to look at Jun'ya and Penny for a few moments. Yuji had a suspicious glare; Takeshi had a simple intimidating glare and Kazuya was generally confused but following along. Close to them, Kana would giggle at the situation before clapping both hands together with a big smile, excited at the unique name Prima had.] Kana: "Ah! Maybe your parents thought you would be a great singer then! Or they are really into music! I never heard a name like your before, so it must mean you're really special! It also means they hope you achieve something, like a dream of your own!" [She, having fun with the subject, turns to look at her son.] Kana: "I had a hard time thinking for a name for my boy. No one was going to help me, and I knew he would have to face a lot of adversity as a result. I knew his life would be a bit more difficult compared to other kids..." [She rests her hands on her lap.] Kana: "So I named him "Kazuya", which means "Harmony", because I hoped that he'll have that as he grows older, or that he will be able to overcome it all and attain that kind of peace. To be happy and live a long, quiet life, to get married, have children of his own, away from further conflicts..." [The woman taps her legs with her fingers in an anxious way, then happily as she keeps talking. She keeps both eyes closed and a smile worthy of a high schooler lost in her own fantasies.] Kana: "He will be a handsome, manly young man with a proper lady with long hair as his partner, but she also needs to have a strong personality and look good in short hair~ They will have two precious children, both boys, or maybe girls~? I would get to name at least one of them, and my family's name would be passed down for generations to come~ I can't wait to see the future myself~!" [Her mood improved significantly because she was, indeed, daydreaming, giggling all the way through.]

[The man that looked like Hazama listens carefully, quickly turning to face Angel without uttering a single word. The demon doesn't change facial expressions, but the man fully understands what it’s trying to say. Like either he or the demon can easily read others.] ???: "A lot of what you said sounds like bull to me. What are you even trying to accomplish by meeting this...Nakajima?" [He would prepare his gun, making it clear he had no intention of waiting around, and Angel herself would be ready to strike again with some kind of spell.] ???: "If you don't tell the truth, I can assure you I'll know. You should hurry." [The remains of the malformed demon would receive yet another slash, but there was no way iit could look any worse anymore. Even so, it still made pathetic noises, all coming from what's left from its ruined throat and vocal cords, barely gurgling noises as blood keeps pouring. Then, Raidou would go through the door, allowing some light to come back into their room, it's barely illuminating the computers, but the ray of light would easily bring light to the remains of Cerberus. He would then come face to face with Quintus and Punk being questioned, and a man with an Angel pointing at them. This didn't go unnoticed by him, however. Angel would keep focusing on the pair, meanwhile the summoner would focus his gun on the newcomer.] ???: "...A cat? You lot are getting weirder by the second. Tell me your name and why you're here before I shoot. Make sure it's the truth." [Meanwhile, regardless of what she was doing, Yoshiko would notice the drool and blood was gone from her clothes, and there seem like there wasn't as much blood as there used to. Not even in her sword.]

{Penny doesn’t have much trouble listening in on the three boys talking privately among one another. In fact, she doesn’t even need to be looking at them to know what they were even saying. Instead, she doesn’t bother to whisper herself, raising her voice just enough to let them hear her as she speaks to Jun’ya.} “Woah, I didn’t know 5 minutes ago could also mean forever! My big sister Isabella and her boyfriend Will also were pretty much lovey-dovey at first sight. It made Penny jealous, so I had to call him a stinky cheese man...” {When she looked back at the three, she makes eye contact with every single one of them, her smile not fading one bit. She stares at Kazuya a bit more with her big yellow eyes and giggles to herself before glancing at Prima talking to another woman. Penny gets excited, and waves over towards Prima, mostly to let her know she’d having fun.} “Jun’ya, since I’m a friend girl, how does Penny love? Penny would love to know!”
"well, yeah. Ya were asking what us Americans did right?" Tot gives a cheery response before quickly moving into her meal. Though she might come off as a bit improper, truth was Tot simply didn't like wasting time, always eager to get onto the next moment. Still, Tot pauses for a moment as she tries to remember which movie Yumiko might have referred to "That one of those Indiana Jones movies? Its more of an adventure thing, but I liked all o' the ones I've watched so I think it'll be good. Besides" Tot gives Yumiko a smile before continuing "I'm sure he'll like anything ya can come up with."
The Spell Punk would groan and just gesture to Quintus to go ahead and try explain further. There wasn’t much it could really explain even at gun point so it just had to try and deescalate things. “Do hear all of us out we are willing to talk but it’s quite on you whenever you want to even hear the words we say or take aim with your weapons. You don’t really seem quite interested in anything we say even if it’s dry truth maybe specifics would help out?” It would feel like it just got a target pin right onto the Spell Punks head for talking back so loose while at gunpoint but it would try what it can to figure out what is even wanted out of them, information and specifics have a value that could maybe catch their attention it would think to it self.
"Sure, sure." Quintus wasn't exactly crazy about these super paranoid types who couldn't just take things at face value. They reminded him all too much of a certain someone. He tried not to seem too rude but he was getting tired of handing out explanations. "Honestly, kind of weird you don't believe us given you've got a magical entity right there next to you. We're telling the truth and there isn't really much else to tell. My reasons for wanting to find Nakajima are simply to ask him to fix something for me. Something I found in another world that I heard he might understand some of the technology of. I don't really care about much else..." He'd look over at the punk with a sigh before continuing. "Provided that's a normal gun, if you're going to shoot anyone, shoot me first. You might just find the result rather interesting. Might even help to prove to you that we're not exactly just your run of the mill intruders."
She had only gotten her name through her species, but... perhaps she was destined to follow some kind of dream. Though her acquired nickname was Prima, it could be more than just a shortening of her regular name. It made her different than all the others in her pod. Prima leaves her thoughts at that and waves back at Penny. She can’t help but smile at their antics. It made her kind of nostalgic. And Kazuya... A name meaning harmony. This child’s life wouldn’t be exactly peaceful, but... “I’m sure he will. I can tell by looking at him that he’ll be able to handle whatever life’s going to throw at him. I bet great things will come from him.” She means that with complete sincerity. Kana’s daydream may not match the future tragedy, but its hope still remains.

"I'd really like to keep tinkering with those computers, but I think you're right. We should regroup with the others. Wherever they are..." Noticing the lack of blood on her, she raised a brow, wondering if the fluids evaporated without her noticing. She trotted down the steps now that there was a decent amount of light to see where she was going, making sure to stick close to Raidou, at least until she noticed the man interrogating Quintus and Punk. She stepped towards the doorway in the scenario that she'd need to use it for cover, but not bothering to try and hide from the mysterious man and his angelic companion. "Hey, let's not shoot anyone here, the last thing we need is that sludge dog getting excited at the smell of blood!"
Seeing the coming commotion as well, Raidou rotated and leaned out into the room ahead. He would rather not get into a fight, so for the time being he merely raised his hands in surrender. Gouto, of course spoke. "Hey, hey. We aren't the violent type. We're investigators, Devil Summoners as well. The full explanation might take some time, rather not be giving it at gunpoint. Either way, we ain't here to stir up any trouble. Calm down a little, pal. We can talk this out rationally, nobody has to get hurt and we get out of your hair. Deal?" Raidou squinted in the dim lighting to attempt and get a better look at the man. He didn't appear to be very similar to their guy, but it eas too difficult to tell 100%.

Yumiko: "Ah! That sounds like it, Indiana Jones!" [She claps both hands together, glad she now something of an objective to reach when it comes to her father. She would quietly finish her food as she wonders about the movie, like what it'll be about and if they will both have a good time.] Yumiko: "You really think my father will like it...? Hum...~! I really hope so, otherwise I'll have to think of something new." [She says to herself.] Yumiko: "But... I think I get what you mean now. I just have to be confident in what I have to do and then just go for it, right?" [She keeps both hands closed as she waits for Tot's confirmation. She didn't realize she was being too slow on her decisions, thinking things over and over with no actual resolution. Back at the park, Jun'ya would maintain a somewhat smug behavior as he tries to define how to show love to others, as the other kids wait. They indeed wanted to say something on that too.] Jun'ya: "It's easy, darling! You just need to hold hands and that's how it goes!" [He would grab the girl's hand tightly while showing himself as proudly as possible. Then, having both eyes closed, would call out the other kids.] Jun'ya: "You guys know nothing about this, do you?" Takeshi: "Of course I do, it's easy! Dumb dumb." [Takeshi knew nothing about showing affection in such a way. Perhaps he was too young for it, or he was too awkward to really do anything with that. He would look away, maintaining his pride above all.] Yuji: "There are other ways. Such as...taking your girlfriend to expensive restaurants, dressing well and asking about her day." [Yuji clearly had gotten his cues from a TV show or maybe even his parents. His expression remains relatively serious though, he wasn't even smiling.] Kazuya: "You give... the person you love flowers, and make sure they are not in pain..." [Kazuya's response would have him fidgeting with his fingers while looking down, as timid as it gets. However, he seemed like he remembered something.] Kazuya: "U-Uhm...! Guys, Mom, I'll be back soon...!" [The young boy would then run off beyond the playground before Kana can object to it. The kids don't care as much, they are very young indeed. Even so, Kana allows him to go as soon as she notices he's still within her sight, near the flowers, bushes and a small pond.] Kana: "That kid, he is so quiet and then out of nowhere goes out to do who knows what..." [She sighs, already out of her daydreaming.] Kana: "He's all I have. I can't rely on the rest of my family; I don't have many friends and it always feels like the world is about to crumble. Have you ever felt as if... every single odd was against you, as if the world wanted you dead, but you hold on to that small piece of hope and just... keep marching, not knowing where it is exactly you'll drop." [She would look at her left hand as the sky gets a slight orange shade. A small amount of the children going back to their parents as they prepare to leave the park.] Kana: "But if for some reason, I was to disappear, or die... what would be of him...? Would he feel sad? Would he feel glad...? If I know I'll feel all alone, I... wonder how he would feel..."

???: "Please, one weird thing doesn't just outright justify every single fantastical idea. I could easily say my wife is Santa Claus and everyone should believe it because Angel is here? Don't make me laugh." [The man had at least that to comment first, wanting to call out the first idiotic thing the one being threatened said. He had nothing to comment regarding his reasons, yet. First he had to address the new girl.] ???: "I have a feeling he won't do anything to me, and that means shooting won't be an issue." [It was clear this man knew he had the upper hand in more than one way. At the same time, Yoshiko may be able to tell the gurgling would be back, as well as the sound of flesh and bone putting itself back together, more notorious to her than Raidou even. If she were to look back, she would see, thanks to the beam of light provided by their current room, that the giant, fleshy canine was starting to grow skin and fur, all of its pieces being put together quicker than before. Its eyes, even under the light, would shine with an intense piercing green.] ???: "But now that you mention that, it's both trespassing and looking through classified government files and equipment. Hmm. There won't be any records left." [And then, at last, Raidou, or rather, Gouto would speak. At first, the man seems surprised by this, turning to Angel to properly asses what it was that was going. Could it be a demon? It certainly felt like it, but human at the same time. The mention of Devil Summoners and weird shenanigans, the man seemed a bit too familiar with the stories. Angel would stop her incoming attack and so would the man lower his weapon.] ???: “Sorry for that. I hope you can understand my position with all of this, considering what seemed to be happening.” [Angel itself was the one letting him know if they were telling the truth, and all he wanted to know was what it was they would do. Rather than knowing their intentions, he wanted to know the kind of person they were. He would move some of the hairs covering his face to the side, maintaining a generally stoic expression. Bowing, he would introduce himself.] Nakajima: “My name is Akemi Nakajima, I work for the Japanese Government in… projects I will not mention. And you…” [He would specifically point to Raidou and Gouto.] Nakajima: “…are Gouto-Douji and Raidou Kuzunoha the XIV. You could say we got ourselves a deal, as you said.” [At this time, the previously ruined demon left behind would be very much obviously behind Yoshiko, not being a completely formed Cerberus looking exactly like any from its kind. A large, boney tail, a big mane and white fur. However, this one had a few differences. On top of having some light rock-like armor around it and two horns, some parts of its fur, in particular the tips of it, had a blue tint. It would sniff out everyone in the room before deciding to sit in place, the gigantic beast, larger than even a bear, acting like a normal dog.]

{Penny doesn't really reject to the hand holding, only being shocked for a slight second until she looks at the other boys confused. She simply snickers at Takeshi clearly not knowing the subject matter, though she made sure to cover mouth and turn her head the other way. Listening to Yuji's suggestions, she marks off two out of three proposals as impossible and/or redundant for the moment at hand. Penny turns her head towards Jun'ya, still holding his hand.} "Jun'ya, how was your day before coming to the..." {The girl tries to have her eyes look all around the place to try and remember the name of the park as she does not even try to finish her sentence, only stretching out the word 'the' for an excessively long time. Whether she finds anything or not, she shrugs her shoulders and continues anyway, smiling as she does so.} "Park. Yeah! The park! Penny loves parks, do you love parks too?" {The little girl says to the boy, intentionally avoiding any pet names or the phrase "I love you" in hopes to not make herself vomit on the inside. Though when she sees Kazuya run off like that, she can't help but feel a bit saddened. She looks down and off to the side for a bit, thinking, almost not caring for what Jun'ya replies with. Gasping, her eyes light up as she grips his hand hard, though she makes sure not to break it, only holding it close to her as she gets closer to his face, as if she was leaning for a kiss.} "What Kazuya said was so smart! Wait here, Jun'ya, Penny needs to get us some flowers and ask if we aren't hurting!" {She pulls back from him as fast as he got close to him, running off swiftly as to follow Kazuya. Her hand immediately let go of Jun'ya's like it was water, and she almost left a cloud of dust where she was originally standing. As fast as her legs could take her, the girl starts to speed towards Kazuya's destination, stopping at the flowers and extending her hands to pick them. However, Penny stops at the last second, sighing and glancing back at Kazuya.} "...is it really fine if Penny takes these? Penny just wants to know. Maybe the flowers might get hurt..."

As she heard the Cerberus reconstructing itself she lifted her weapon, turning around to find the creature bigger than it was before and now fully formed. She lowered her weapon after a moment, tilting her head at the beast's behavior, and most importantly its appearance. "Nakajima? You're Nakajima? That's perfect! And a blue Cerberus! But wait, you don't look like Pascal big guy! What's your name, huh?" If allowed, she'd approach the Cerberus, offering a hand to the demonic hound, and if it would allow, she'd start ruffling and massaging its blue-tinted fur. She was practically treating the beast as if it were a normal dog, even speaking in a slightly higher voice. "Now I feel bad for hitting you! I had a feeling I'd find a Cerberus like you around here!" The girl then turned to Nakajima, offering a wide smile and a hearty salute. "I'm Yoshiko Takenomi, nice to meet you Mr. Nakajima! You've probably never heard of me, but I've heard a lot about you."
"That's what I do anyways. Worked out well so far" Tot replies with a grin, much more in the swing of things now. The girl laughs for a moment before continuing "Ya do what ya can and let things fall where they may. If yer always second-guessing yaself then you'll never get anywhere. And anything's better than that." her piece said, Tot finishes off the last of her sushi with a smile, ready to let things come as they may.
Is he running off to get flowers? Prima giggles. How adorable. She wishes these happy days could last for Kazuya, but... “If you were gone, I’d know he’d miss you, like any son would. But I suppose it’s what he does with his feelings that counts.” Grief does different things to different people, but she has the luxury of knowing some of Kazuya’s past. “Whatever happens, I know he’ll make you proud.”
Quintus was mostly just tired from dealing with all this. The man had been so stubborn a moment ago but now suddenly his tune changed. Regardless it didn't matter much to him what exactly was going on anyway. "Nakajima, you're one stubborn guy. Guess I'll let them explain since you seem to put more worth in their word but I'm not done with my reasons for being here. Honestly, I barely understand things as they are anyway. Too many things crossing into one another at once."
Raidou's eyes lit up, and the summoner practically looked like an excited child for a moment before composing himself. He returned Nakajima's bow, and relaxed himself as Gouto began to speak. "Ah, just the man we were looking for. We have a lot to discuss, you're quite the popular man. Still, you know us? I don't believe we've met, but I suppose that does make things a little easier." The cat's eyes drifted to the strangely familiar Cerberus that had nearly made him and the other two jump out of their skins but a few minutes ago. Raidou cast an apologetic look towards Quintus, before nudging Gouto to continue. "If you don't mind answering a few questions, what have you been doing here? Your communication with a man named Stephen should clue us in, but it never hurts to be thorough. From the top, if you don't mind."

Yumiko: "You're right, that's true...!" [The girl would smile sheepishly as she finishes her own sushi. She was lost in thought for a moment, as if recounting an old dream and applying the idea of action rather than just waiting around. She only stops as she realizes the day was ending, with the sun slowly but surely going down.] Yumiko: "My father will come pick me up soon here, so I think I will be able to suggest one or two things for us to do when he does. I was being silly, wasn't I?" [She said embarrassingly as the bill is taken back to them.] Yumiko: "What will you do now, Tot? I do not know if we'll meet again... even though I would like to do so, someday!" [She would say with a genuine look in her eyes. At this point, Tot may be reminded of the girl's inherent weird aura, all to similar to that of a deity of some kind. Even though she could feel it, it seemed like it remained dormant, just becoming a bit more obvious with her decision to be more decisive. At the same time, she could hear something akin to a heartbeat.] Jun'ya: "Hehe-! My day was-! Uh yes, I do like-! Flowers...? I-Pennie, what!?" [The girl had said so much he didn't really know how to react, and while Yuji seemed confused at what just happened, Takeshi just laughed while Jun'ya remained confused, both not understanding how Jun'ya couldn't speak and why it was so funny that he couldn't. Really, he found Jun'ya a bit slow, and Takeshi rather rude. Kazuya would shyly look over at Penny, trying to reach out to the flowers. He would keep staring at the various flowers before deciding to speak, and even then, it obviously hard for him to do so.] Kazuya: "..........................I-It's fine, flowers don't feel any pain. T-They are alive... but don't feel at all. M-Mom says that...so it's okay to give them to people you care about." [The colors and shapes would be many, this entire park being some kind of garden of sorts. As the sun goes down, the colors become harder to recognize, and so would it become harder to tell their shapes. Of all kind, 58 different types of flowers alone from the which Kazuya was trying to pick from. Some similar even in color, but all unique indeed. If she wanted to pick one, then she could, unless the amount was too vast for her to grasp.] Kazuya: "Mom says that...each one means something different, a-almost like...a-a language of its own..." [He would look around really hard, until he finds what seemed to be a rose, a pink one at that. The young boy would smile and hide it behind him as he thought about what to say.] Kazuya: ".......I don't.... know most of them, but this one is....like saying 'thank you', roses are pretty...!" [Kana would try to see what it was that her child was trying to pick, but she could not and as such, she would sigh, really curious about what he would do.] Kana: "He better, the last thing I need is a slacker who sleeps all day. But... as long as he manages to do something with his life, and be happy like that, I'm sure... I'll be able to rest peacefully each night." [She would keep silent for a moment, both eyes closed. Slowly blushing yet again as daydreaming strikes yet again.] Kana: "......But he better have at least one kid, I even have a few names in mind~ But, there is one in particular I have the feeling even he would like a lot~!" [At this time, both Penny and Prima could feel it, like the heartbeat of something resonating in their ears and in the surrounding area, but only they could tell. At the same time, most of the kids were already gone now, being taken away by their parents.] Yuji: "Oh, I have got to go. See you all one day!" Takeshi: "Ha...haha! Yeah, yeah, see you" Jun'ya: "Y-Yeah but Pennie actually is my girl!" [Yuji would run to find his mother and father, who had just arrived. As he gets there, he would politely bow to him. The older man would smile as the pair walks away, all holding hands.]

[Nakajima would be taken aback by a few of the comments. First it was Yoshiko's mention of "Pascal" and implying that a "blue Cerberus" was something she had seen before. He was at least knowledgeable enough about the species to know the blue fur is an extremely rare trait, and that he only got lucky to get this one before contacting Loki back then. Nakajima got even more confused as his own Cerberus does give its paw to the girl, obviously feeling good due to her massaging its paw. He could swear the thing was even smiling. He would turn to Angel, who seemed to shrug, just as confused. In the end, he would rather not know, a Kuzunoha was enough of a reason for him to just accept whatever it is they are all doing. He would then turn to face Quintus.] Nakajima: "I will agree on you there, it's too many things at once. I haven't forgotten about what you said before. I do want to see what you brought, after all, you want it fixed, don't you? I can at least try." [He would open his laptop and dismiss Angel, making her return back into the storage quickly. At the very least, it was obvious Nakajima was being genuine. He would turn to Raidou and Gouto then.] Nakajima: "Anyone who decides to learn about the Abyss is bound to learn about the Kuzunoha clan after a while, especially the 14th. That said, you may ask what you like, but let's walk for now." [Nakajima would approach the desk nearby and get behind it, moving up switch after switch and returning the light to the entire floor. Now it was clear that the building itself had a similar feeling to some kind of hospital, and even then, it was clear it was underground, based on the lack of windows. Nakajima would then calmly make his way down the "Testing" hall.] Nakajima: "All of our tools are at the end of this hall; I've been working on a few different things." [Cerberus would lick Yoshiko's cheek with its serpent-like tongue before following after his Master too.]
That sound... Ah, their time for idle chatter is coming to a close. She did not regret how it was spent. “Hm... you’ll have to suggest it when he’s older, yes?” A small smile, then she calls to Penny. “Penny, it’s getting a bit late! Over here!” She waves. It’s best to be together... together... Right, where is Tot? The girl had wandered off elsewhere. Prima hopes they can meet up if things go awry.
"You're just fine, its always nice to talk things out with a friend!" Tot laughs and pats her companion on the back as the pair receive their bill. As promised, Tot would be able to pay for it, thanks to how much inflation had moved, leaving her and Yumiko free to go. Shortly after she pays Tot shrugs in response to Yumiko's last question "I dunno. I mean I've got a crew waitin' for me around here somewhere so I should prolly find them again. After that I just sorta go where the wind takes me ya' know? Tot doesn't really think about it much, simply because there's not much to think about it. With their bill paid for, Tot's ready to lead Yumiko outside, and continues the chatter while they go "I wouldn't worry about it. I mean even if we don't see each other I'll still be around. Just gotta keep movin'." Tot doesn't really pay the aura any mind, though it did seem kinda nice, like a passion waiting to be unleashed. "I'll be listening for ya, alright?" With that little sign-off, Tot would give Yumiko a wave before going to return to the others. Whatever they were doing, at least she had fun here.

{When initially picking the flowers, the little girl seems to la dee da, slowly picking the flowers as she chooses, being careful not to prick her fingers with the thorns on the stems. The girl turns around and notices the weather, even hearing Prima as she calls for her.} "Aw, geez, it's already time to go?" {In her hand was only a single blue rose, one that she looks to contemplate heavily on as she looks at the massive quantity of flowers. Penny takes a deep breath before she starts to hurry herself up, picking flowers almost at random until she stops at a quantity of eight. With one hand to spare, she becomes absentminded again as she goes for a 9th purple flower.} "Well, since my...friend, isn't here, why not give these to your mother Kazuya? Don't worry, they deserve a good home, and I think yours would be great for them." {The girl gave a smile that seemed authentic for once, her tone not being one of an infant anymore, but rather someone educated. And a bit lost. Penny notices her pricked thumb, only shedding a single tear as she pouts, sucking it before turning to Prima.} "Penny's coming now, Miss Prima!" {Her manner of speech shifted on instinct when she calls back to her caretaker, leaving her eight flowers gently on the ground next to Kazuya, practically not giving him a choice at all. The little girl runs to the blue haired lady, waving back at Kana and her son before taking Prima's hand.}

Yumiko: "Yeah, let's meet again one day~!" [Yumiko waves goodbye to the girl as she herself walks happily down the streets of Tokyo, headed to where her father may be waiting. At the very least, she would not forget this advice going forward. Then again, saying she ate something with a stranger may sit badly with her father, so it will remain in her heart. The way back is simple, Tot would watch from the distance as Penny stands near a small boy with brown hair and Prima stands near a young woman of similar base features. The flowers Penny pick are indeed at random, besides the blue rose that is. The blue rose alone signifies mystery, attaining the impossible and even love at first sight. The purple flower was an Iris, which signifies a message, but can also mean hope, faith, friendship and wisdom. The remaining 8 would be a Magnolia, which express love for nature, nobility, perseverance and dignity; an Amaryllis, which represent pride and splendid beauty; a White Chrysanthemum, representing truth; a White Camellia, which expresses adoration and loveliness; then a Cherry Blossom, which represents spiritual beauty and a good education; the Hydrangea is all about the coldness of being, boastfulness and heartlessness; then a Mistletoe, which quite plainly says "Kiss me"; and finally, a Bluebell, which represent humility and constancy. What all these together were trying to say, there was no way of telling in the end. Kazuya would think the same as he decides to merely stick with a single meaningful flower rather than an entire bunch of them; he would run behind Penny and past Takeshi, who was leaving with his father and Jun'ya who ran at his pair of parents. He would stay fixated on the fathers for a moment before shrugging and making his way back.] Kana: "That's right, it is pretty late..." [Kazuya would keep the flower hidden behind his back as the woman stands up and takes his hand, a bit curious about what it was he was doing it. She would ask after why it was that he was blushing. First, she needed to show her gratitude. She would smile and bow at the girl.] Kana: "Thank you for listening to me, I don't talk to many people and I really needed that. If you ever need any help, I'll always be here in Kichijouji. There is this really good cafe inside the Arcade Town Mall which I think you'll love! If you ever go there, tell my friend Suzume I sent you!" [That said, the woman and her son would both bow as they say goodbye. They would walk a few feet before Kazuya is able to muster the courage to do what he wanted. He would shake his hand a bit and then would speak.] Kazuya: "Mom?" Kana: "What is it, Kazu-chan?" Kazuya: "...I-I got you a gift. Today was Father's Day. B-But all the kids were getting something for the dads and I uhm... I wanted to give you something too. I-It's a Pink Rose." [The boy would shyly show the woman the flower he had picked before, gently making sure not even the stem had lost its shape, or a single petal had fallen off of it. Kanako would slowly take it from his small hand and stare at it in silence, before looking back at the boy, nervously smiling. She would look back at the Rose and would drop her arm and stop in place, trying to hold back herself from making her emotions too obvious.] Kazuya: "M-Mom...? I'm sorry...! I just wanted to say-!" Kana: "Thank you, Kazu-chan...~" [The boy didn't understand completely, but at least, he knew she was happy. The light of the sunset sun was making her eyes look all sparkly after all; they went well with her warm smile. The woman would rub her eyes for a moment before the pair continues their path.] Kana: "What do you want to eat when we get back?" Kazuya: "Oyakodon! Oyakodon!" Kana: "Hehe! Oyakodon then!" [It is at this time that the entire world seems to come to a sudden halt. All goes to black and white, and a gateway appears in the middle of the playground. Back to the Akarana Corridor it was.]

[The gateway would be easy to see for the three of them and it would take them back to the main hourglass area, with its last light now lit and the path leading to the North platform now fully accessible, the gap and rocks in the way having disappeared completely. On that platform, there appears clear to see a gigantic and ancient looking gate that would only need for someone to push it open. In front of it there is a single red lance thrusted into the floor, in perfect condition and ready for anyone to use. A side of it has the words "Host Club" written on it. There is also a piece of paper on the floor near the lance with something written on it, but it's impossible to tell from faraway what it actually says. Finally, the hourglass that requires six lights is now up to five, only needing the other group to make it back successfully to unlock the exit to the Akarana Corridor and back into Shibuya. As a small extra, they may find Ene there, who may or may not be asleep on the floor.]
Quintus would take a moment to catch a breath. Seemed as if he either had the devil's luck or their curse. He'd get up after making sure his clothes didn't get dirty from being knocked back before. He'd follow after Nakajima with the device in hand. He was somewhat curious about what he was working on but was unsure if he'd even be able to comprehend it. For now he was staying quiet, not wanting to push his luck too much with how sharp his way od speaking could be.

Yoshiko proved to already be quite fond of the unfamiliar Cerberus, giving the hound a wide smile after it showed her affection and a brief ruffle of its fur before following it, and to a lesser extent Nakajima. "Considering how lifeless this facility is I'm surprised to see you Mr. Nakajima. Is this just an odd hour or is there something happening right now?" Whenever she wasn't admiring the blue Cerberus, she was taking in the scenery, looking for any miscellaneous posters or memos that would provide a little bit more context on the building the group found themselves in.
The Spell Punk would finally feel free to get up and give a good stretch after getting knocked back, it then gave it’s robe a quick brush before taking a long moment to look around. “With the lights on this place actually looks a bit more decent albeit a bit more confusing to the nature of this place with its design but details we can brush I guess? It would decide to follow Nakajima and keep to itself. Only taking a few pause to just stare at the design of the place since it irked it slightly.
Raidou nodded, and followed behind Nakajima and the others. "That's the second time we've heard something like that. Don't let it get to your head, Raidou." Gouto pawed his student's face as he said that, while the student in question merely shrugged the remark off. "Your reaction earlier leads me to believe you've been in need protective measures like that before, what exactly is going on here? Why are you holed up in this building alone, protecting yourself with demons? It seems like you've been set up here for a while."

[Nakajima would have his focus entirely on the corridor ahead, which would soon end on an automatic, metallic door with an electronic card reader by its side. He would focus in replying to Yoshiko first.] Nakajima: "It's late and all but me have gone back home...hours ago, but I am still working. I have given special permission to remain here and work on my projects. Not much is happening." [the corridor was completely sterile and devoid of life, there wasn't a single crack or dirty spot anywhere, all perfectly taken care of. He would turn towards Punk for a moment before looking ahead once more.] Nakajima: "This place is underground, a hidden facility underneath Camp Ichigaya. I won't tell you how to access it beyond its general location. If you were to find out, you would have any record of your existence deleted without much of a second thought." [He would remain silent for a moment as he reaches into his pocket.] Nakajima: "Three people had that happen to them, but officially, it never has happened at all." [He would pull out a red card and prepare it for the moment he had to let them into the next room. Cerberus had made it way ahead and would sit to the right, as the reader was to the left. He would finish by replying to Raidou.] Nakajima: "Like I said before, this place is super-secret and it's virtually impossible to access it. Anyone who got in was either a demon or some crazy bastard who had to be extremely lucky or capable. Furthermore..." [He would use the card to open the metallic door, allowing some of the next room to be seen; a few lights coming from the shadow of different colors.] Nakajima: "I've had demons gone rogue in the past, and that having terrible consequences. I had to be ready for any kind of outbreak. The A.S.P is still not perfect." [He would press a button and the room would light up, fully stepping into the area that was now clear for everyone to see. There were many white tables with all kinds of tools and gadgets lazily put in place next to what seemed to be different models of small computers, some similar to the one he was carrying with him, and others more like bricks full of cables. At the furthest point of the room, there is a closed door with the words "-TERMINAL-" written on it.] Nakajima: "Beyond programming, I work on this, all funded by the government. These are Handheld Computers, all designed by me to various degrees of success. I've been trying to improve on the original model I made and managed to get working just a while ago. I don't want to make the same exact one. Instead, I'm trying to modify the original blueprints to make smaller, more comfortable models. I call them COMP. Not on the market at all too and won't be any time soon. The only other person to own one is my friend." [He would walk towards the center table and put away his own laptop, now looking at the group as Cerberus stands by the door, as if acting as a guard.] Nakajima: "I'll fix that thing for you, whatever that is. As I work on this, you may keep asking questions all you want. All I ask of you is to not touch anything around here."
Quintus wouldn't hesitate at handing the device over too much. Truthfully even if he hadn't handed it over he wouldn't know what else to do with it anyway. "Not too interested in messing with anything anyway. Also, guess I should mention that I technically found that device in a high school that got sucked into the demon world... That kind of sounds crazy when I say it out loud. There was a guy there though that weirdly looked like you too but he was kind of just mad with power. Guess I should apologize for threatening you but as I said you looked just like them but older."
The Spell Punk would respectfully and eyed the door with the label terminal which heightens its curiosity more so but refrains to ask instead darting back to the conversation at hand to just chime in. “I can vouch for what he is saying that setting was just number of oddities compiling, down to even the similar appearances. I don’t suppose you have any input on what we are saying or if it just sounds like insanity but I can assure you that was what transpired.”

[Nakajima wouldn't give much thought to the idea of him looking like someone else, be it younger or older. He was used to having something similar being told to him before. However, what does rise some red flags for him is the device Quintus was giving him. He had seen it before, very much so.] Nakajima: "This is the original COMP model, where did you get this...? Stupid question. You mentioned a high school. He is still in junior high school though..." [The man seemed worried, for once. He would give the device a closer look and take a deep breath.] Nakajima: "The first major difference is that it's black rather than white. It also has this fingerless gauntlet. A separate battery... goggles for the HUD instead of a screen on the main device, although it does have a simplified display... These goggles are even stuck with their current size. Seems like it was modified further for someone in particular... I need to examine this more. It's too similar." [Nakajima would slowly and precisely open the COMP and laying all the pieces as if they were being worn by someone onto the table. He would life his face to stare at Punk for a moment, deciding he at least had one question.] Nakajima: "Could you please describe the things you saw beyond the look-alike? I need to properly understand what you went through. I know about Atziluth through book and what the demons tell me, and yet I have never seen it." [He would swiftly open up the COMP and would check each piece, having more issues with the parts that were busted.] Nakajima: "A lot of these pieces are like others in the market, just more advanced. Some outright confirm this, since the processor has its copyright to the year 1995, another in 1996... This is unreal. While the outside looks like the original one I made, the insides are too different. This one was built by an amateur on their own. A very skilled amateur that made it work, but an amateur, nonetheless. I can repair this one, but it'll be less powerful than it originally was. There aren't any suitable replacements in this current age, so all I can do is modify it." [He would quickly move out to pick different chips and pieces to see what fits within its space. He knew he could repair it, but he didn't exactly have the tools to cover any bigger part, so at least, he had to make sure the less powerful parts could work with each other.] Nakajima: "I was right in that this was modified recently. Both the glove and goggles were made to be better fit for someone who had to be moving constantly. A female high school student, if I had to guess. Did any of you try it on? It may be too small or big for you, and there's nothing here will help accommodate any new user unless I further modify it."
Quintus would be a little disappointing by the news of the device. Though he had suspected it might not function as well as it used to and it might not even fit him specifically. He'd look over to the girl who had shared a similar aura to him already before. If that was anything to go off than she was at least somewhat on his side. "Well, the entire high school was sucked in so on the inside it wasn't too different beyond being in disrepair and the demons. Most of the students were dead or no where to be found too. I guess the most notable thing would be the outside area which was mostly just an endless void of sorts, pitch black. The only thing that was odd was when we angered the look-alike enough. Ever heard of Abaddon? The sky started resembling the inside of that demon's stomach... I'd rather you didn't ask about that." Now, as for the comp. It was true he wanted to use it but it seemed it might be too much trouble afterall. "If you can't adjust it too much then maybe you can at least make it so...Takeno, right? If it's easier then she should use it."
(edited by Quintus_Geminus)
The Spell punk took a bit to recoil back into its memory but since everything went by so quick it didn't really get the best of chances to observe the high school. One Point still popped up even if it was not the most important to mention. "That school was built with as far as I can tell a premise to just be some place for that look alike to reside and even so much be a stronghold for him. That or those tunnels he kept warping us through with his bending will. Come to think of it I never gave it much thought what the siginificane of that part was, it all felt like one motion blur." This just cause the Spell Punk to be even more confused on the topic itself and just wished to think on it a bit more so it could satisfy itself with a conclusion to what all these events meant. It certainly won't work though.
Raidou leaned against the wall, keeping quiet as Nakajima and Quintus discussed. Truthfully, he didn't quite know what to say to the guy. He certainly seemed to be a pragmatic one, incredibly dedicated to his own research as well. All that said, he found the story being told by the others to be pretty interesting. So, he resigns himself to simply listening for now. Their talk of the school brought Rowan to mind, but Raidou did his best to shake that thought out of his mind.

Staring at the comp she nervously rubbed the back of her neck. It had been a long while since she had her hands on such a device, and despite all her instruction on COMPs she never was very good at using them. "If it's for a teenage girl I guess I'd be the only one here who could wear it without much modification." At the mention of the high school they had seen not long ago, she couldn't help but tremble, remembering the demon-infested building. Her fear was overshadowed by a sudden determination as she stared into space with an intense glare. "It'd be a stretch but maybe this can help me find Yuriko a little sooner..."

[As he works on the inner part of the COMP, he would listen quietly to both Quintus and Punk give him details on what was happening. He found some of it a bit weird, but not by the nature of there being a demon or accessing "Atziluth", but by the way it actually may work. He had come across some worrying information himself.] Nakajima: "An entire school sucked into that world. It's a bit hard to believe, but not fully impossible. If something from there can enter here, then something from our side could be trapped there. Did that man use a ritual...? More than likely... But what if he used… ?" [Shaking his head, he would fully replace the motherboard before working on the CPU.] Nakajima: "I know about Abaddon. I'm surprised you can talk about it like you've seen it before reaching Atziluth. However, and if that's the case, you must understand you've been inside Abaddon twice." [Picking the right processor would take a few moments before he carefully puts in place.] Nakajima: "It is said that that which Abaddon devours becomes nothing, but the other side of this is that all that he swallows becomes a singularity, and the bigger the prey, the bigger the rift between worlds. If that demon that currently remains sealed were to eat a city, and it is very much capable of doing so, all that would remain would be a gateway into the demon world. What this essentially means is..." [Fully placing the CPU would make him go into fitting the RAM in.] Nakajima: "Abaddon's stomach is the Abyss, Atziluth. While simultaneously being a separate entity. In the physical world, it manifests as a gigantic blob with a massive mouth and awful eyes, but its true form is a disgusting heart-like being. He became that when Lucifer rebelled against God as part of the Forces of Chaos and were thrown out." [He had to wonder if his "Doppelganger" had tried to contact the demon world and ended up bringing out Abaddon, which would in turn force the high school into Atziluth. He hoped such incident could be avoided. He would the continue with what Punk told him, trying to make sense of it.] Nakajima: "Even if the school was moved into the demon world, no demon or human, no matter how powerful, can change matter that easily. At best they had to be illusions. Remember if the school kept changing forms or if what always changed were smaller details. There's a difference between a demon creating their own domain which they can control at will, and something preexisting being pulled into a domain. Powerful demons can create their own realms." [He had a clear, base idea for what this all meant. Only the Hard Drive, Power Supply, Cooling System remained. After this, he would need to replace some of the keys and make sure the USB ports worked, not to mention the display, booting the thing up and choosing the one who would use it. He would begin working on the Hard Drive as he prepares his next question.] Nakajima: "Are you all from the same time or universe? I don't mean before today; I mean in general terms." [Finally, he had to address Yoshiko's words. One after another. He would not just give them information and fix a COMP of strange origin just like that.] Nakajima: "Yoshiko. Before you mentioned you heard about me, how did you? Furthermore, who is this Yuriko you speak of? I don't care what you answer, it would seem this COMP will belong to you either way."

Trying to follow along with all this talk of Abaddon and Atziluth proved a bit difficult for poor Yoshiko, whose head was practically spinning by the time Nakjima was finished speaking. "I'm not sure about anyone else here, but I'm definitely not from a timeline like this. I think? I'm from around 2019! And as far as I know, the world never had to deal with a demon scourge or anything like that. Which is where learning about you becomes complicated Mr. Nakajima." She takes a deep breath, preparing herself for going on her own exposition dump. "I'm not sure just how much of this I should be saying because I might just shatter the whole timeline but... I learned about you from a boy named Kazuya. Technically he's not even from my time but that's not too important. Long story short he taught me about the COMP and interacting with demons, and he told me he learned all this from someone named Nakajima, along with being gifted a weird blue Cerberus named Pascal." Her expression changes to be much more pensive as she thinks about Yuriko, her eyes darting around the room as she seems to be deep in thought while she's speaking. "As for Yuriko, she's a lady I met at the school that got swallowed. She's a demon... I think! But she was human at some point. At first I thought she just wanted to blow me to bits, but something clicked between us. We ended up getting along pretty well and I promised I'd help her when I saw her again. I doubt having a COMP will magically connect our paths again, but maybe it's the first step!"
"Awesome, the gang's back together!" Tot Pop jubilantly declares as her, Penny, and Prima head through the gateway and back home. Well, home's a bit of a stretch. Back to the base area at least, where she'd be able to see Ene.. Around. The girl doesn't really mind the others' reactions, like she's in a world of her own. "Just gotta wait for the other crew to get back and we'll be ready. Anyone got anything to pass the time?"

"Penny doesn't know. Penny's just happy to be back. I guess she can just play on her phone for a little while." {The little girl checks her phone and realizes that this whole time she went without Mr. Bear accompanying her for the most part. She jumps on the opportunity to summon her compatriot back the instant she sees his name in the COMP, hugging him right when he comes out. Penny walks up to Prima, looking at her eyes with her bear in hand both of them staring at the woman expecting something.} "Penny wants- well. Hm, Miss Prima, should Penny lend the sword to someone else until this is all over? Penny still has a big shooty thing."
"Didn't I say I didn't want to talk about it. Last thing I wanted to remember was that heart... It wasn't exactly the most pleasant of times the first time around. Only reason I'm alive is because I guess I didn't enter through the mouth. The idea that I was there again doesn't exactly fill me with hope that I won't have to see it again." He wasn't sure if he could fully keep up with this. The mythology aspects were easy for him but all this stuff about the same entity being represented as different things seemed rather complex from an outsider perspective. Then again, he already witnessed Abaddon first hand so perhaps this was just the tip of the iceberg in a manner of speaking. "Uh, guess I original come from 1999 but due to certain circumstances you could say I'm from the same period."

[Nakajima wouldn't mind the thing about 2019, he expected different timelines or similar the moment he realized who Raidou was, but that far ahead...? A bit hard to guess what the world would be by then. He knew he would be old, if lucky. He would make sure the Hard Drive was in place and would reach out for the Power Supply, only to stop dead on his tracks the moment she mentions Kazuya. Him not technically being from her timeline, knowing of demons, Pascal a blue Cerberus...? Knowing about him and the COMP knowledge. All these pieces together made it extremely hard not to consider this was the very Kazuya he knew, and not just any other.] Nakajima: "If you come from 2019, then he should not be a "boy" but easily over 40. Furthermore, you seem to be implying this world, unlike yours, had to deal with demons in a relevant way. You are going to need to tell me more about that Kazuya." [He would take a deep breath and look down again, previously, his eyes were quite intense and even full of worry as he looked at Yoshiko. Grabbing on to the Power Supply, he would continue.] Nakajima: "A demon who used to be a human. Never heard of anything like that. There are only so many stories...it is more common in myth and legends for humans to become angels and gods or be punished for all eternity. You should tell me more about her origins, you may be getting involved with Lucifer for all we know. If you are a friend of Kazuya, then you should be careful. He doesn't have more than four of those to begin with." [Now comes the Cooling System. Now Quintus’ comment was what was standing up to him.] Nakajima: “You are from 1999, but then came to appear in 2019? But are you even sure that it's the same world? Silly question of mine. Sounds like it could not be. Your name is very weird, I have never really heard it before. You must be a memorable guy. Even so you may need to explain a bit more from your world's history.” [Nakajima would sigh and as finishes with replacing all the necessary parts for the COMP to function properly, most of the hardware was indeed taken care off. All he had to do now was to replace some of the keys and make sure the USB ports worked. Trying to fully process all of the information as he takes a close look at the general device, he would find one of the ports was slightly damaged, but the cables were mostly fine, if only slightly bent.] Nakajima: “I ask because not so long ago, as I investigated demons and their world, I came across this strange cult. They called themselves the Ring of Gaea, and spoke of some… sort of ideal, of Chaos and freedom from it all, and awakening the old gods. Bunch of lunatics if you want my opinion. However, some of the tomes they had were nothing but…worrying information. It had specific descriptions, all-new concepts and it all matched what I know is factual, a little too much to consider the new to be false. Based on what you’ve told me, I am more inclined to believe it now. Has any of you heard of the Amala Network and what it is?”

"40?! Well, he sure did act like a 40 year old man, but he was about my age when he showed up, so I know there's some sort of anomaly with time going on in my world. In fact, he even told me about how his world was consumed by a demonic scourge. My own world's history is fairly normal in comparison, as far as I know at least. I've only been exposed to all this in the last few years." At the mention of the possibility of Yuriko being involved with Lucifer she went back into a deep, pensive stare as easily hundreds of possibilities went through her mind. "I guess there's a possibility she's involved with some other more powerful demon. But she didn't seem to try to push an agenda on me, if anything she just gave me a warning. She simply talked to me about similarities in our lives, but otherwise I don't think she wanted anything from me."
"I feel like Amala network should ring a bell but my head is swirling with info being said here that I'm far out of my debt to understand since my teachings of these kind of things are much more 'different'. Though if you could mention on what that Amala network is suppose to do it could help remind me of anything." The Spell Punk has to press his face to keep itself from spacing off it was stuffed with information and concepts it can't even comment on but felt to kept inquiring for the rest at least.

[He figures it's not exactly necessary to worry about the USB port being damaged, it still had another one still fully functional. He would take his time to close the COMP and lift the currently off Display. He would look through his belongings, finding the right keys to fit the device as he listened to Yoshiko.] Nakajima: "I see. I am certain the Kazuya you know is the same one I know. Or was up until a certain point in the future which could or could not occur in this world. But to think he would be in his 20s during the year 2019, when he is 13 now, during 1990…you are right, something is off there." [He would reach into his back pocket and take his wallet. He would show it to them, and there was a picture. Nakajima was there with a faint smile, petting a husky dog with blue fur. By his side is a young Kazuya, barely 13 years old with a white COMP attached to his left arm, and then by his side a woman with long, wavy brown hair and grey eyes, his mother, Kana. It should be obvious with a look, the COMP in the picture and the black COMP currently being repaired looked extremely similar.] Nakajima: "Kazuya has the original, finalized COMP model currently, but this is not the same. It seems merely based on it, from someone who saw it closely. The possibilities of how and why it happened are endless, and that's why the existence of the Amala Network is..." [He would shake his head, putting the photo back into his wallet and leaving it to the side for now, placing the keys on the COMP, almost done. He would press all the keys at once to make sure they worked before looking up at them.] Nakajima: "The Amala Network is a system part of the higher existence that binds it all together. It’s made up of massive quantities of "Magatsuhi"; energy created by the negative emotions humans feel, like pain and fear, the more intense, higher the concentration. It is very similar to Magnetite. It serves to connect one physical point to another, were you able to harness it to do that. Think of near instant teleportation. It is also possible to travel slowly through this Network. The thing was described as a series of ever-changing corridors of yellow stone walls. Its floor is made of a powerful flow of Magatsuhi, which should look like red strands of energy moving at high speeds, think of a black river full of red tadpoles. Does it sound familiar to any of you?” [He would then turn on the COMP, making the Display light up. To Nakajima's excitement, the OS and entire design was something considerably more advanced than what he had in his hands, or even the government had. So far so good. He began to check the actual software, making sure it will not turn off out of nowhere. With great enthusiasm at that.] Nakajima: "This universe is contained within a larger one that holds an infinite number of universes; a multiverse called "Amala". But you knew that already. The danger of this is that entire multiverses outside of “our region” exist too and can also be accessed. There are different ways to do apparently. I know none. Once linked, they can potentially become a part of it, I also have no idea how. Normally, the link is only temporary. The Amala actively rejects outsiders, trying to return them back from where they came from." [Making sure it was all fine, he would close the Display. The battery of the thing would need at least 2 months of constant use for it to lose all power.] Nakajima: "Hypothetically, if something above what this universe is capable of handling were to access it, and then became accepted by Amala. It would be free to do as it pleased and even reach out to other outer universes at will. If one being knows how to be accepted by Amala, then it is sure to know how to force the same on others. For as long as it is not accepted… it should remain weak." [He would gesture towards the COMP.] Nakajima: “While we hope that this isn’t the case…make the final call. Yoshiko or Quintus. ”
The Spell punk froze up for a bit as if the description given just triggered a fuse inside it and now it started going off listing all the points of detail it was given. “Wait wait let me recall...Yellow walls made of materials we didn’t know at the time, red energy flow, constant shift to the design of the place and teleportation properties. Wait wait it’s coming back I remember not so long before we ended up in the Amala Network which we learned the name from a fellow named Naoki. We were brought in there presumably by Hazama and where he question and brought us out as well. That explains how went from the labyrinth to the roof if the teleportation trait is true. How could I forget something so crucial like that!” The Spell Punk bonked itself on the head for being so forgetful in the moment and tried to recall on anything else important now that it at least had some time inside The Amala Network

Seeing the picture of a younger Kazuya caused the girl to clap her hands together with glee, her eyes widened, like she was looking at a newborn puppy. "Oh he looks so precious~! But if he has the original COMP, then who could've made this one? I assume it wasn't anyone you know of, Mr. Nakajima. Not like we can make an educated guess based on time period, who knows if that damn school was even part of the same timeline that we're in now?" As Nakajima presented the group with the final question of who would be given the COMP, Yoshiko practically froze, visibly anxious staring at the device. While she knew how to use one to some degree, she knew very well how outclassed she was by every foe they'd come across so far. Who was to say this would make a big difference? "I... I'll take it... if you all trust me enough with it. I know I'm much less experienced than just about all of us here but I at least know how to negotiate with demons and get them on our side. If we can do that, maybe we'll be able to take down that son of a bitch from the roof. But it's your call. She turned to the group and sucking up all of her anxiety, now standing before her teammates with a resounding confidence, her bright eyes narrowed with a deep determination.

[Nakajima nods at Punk, and also Yoshiko's initial words.] Nakajima: "If you've already been there then it's clear you are currently moving around the Network, one way or the other. Some worlds may not even be connected to anyone you know, despite being the exact same. Or it may be the same during another time." [He would shake his head, not bothering to consider more of this further, it wasn't his problem. Yet. He would then point with his open left arm towards the Black COMP.] Nakajima: "It's easy to put on. I suggest you do that now, or later. If you are from the "future" then you should be able to use this easily. I cannot imagine why-" [That's when it clicks in his head. Negotiating with demons. Invasion. The Amala. Atziluth. Kazuya. The COMP. Nakajima's mind began to run, and his face would go pale before speaking like normal again. Or as normal as he possibly could.] Nakajima: "The Demon Summoning Program." [He checks the COMP and looks for anything resembling his own program. It would take a few minutes before he finds it. From exploring it, he would find a full manual on how to properly operate the system, Magnetite reserves, storage, a dictionary for the specific terms used. But what really caught his attention was that it was created by his friend, Stephen. He found his signature.] Nakajima: "It makes sense. He's the only other person who would realistically know. Yumiko knows too but she wouldn't reveal its existence, let alone replicate it." [He would cross his arms, now backing away from the Black COMP, which is ready for the taking. It had three distinct parts. First, the Main Device. A bit bulky and with a fingerless gauntlet built in for some protection on the left hand and for a better grip on top of the pair of straps around the arm. It would also have a Display that can be folded shut on top of the keyboard; this is how the COMP is operated for Summoning, Returning, Releasing and Settings. The main device would be connected by a single cable to Battery Pack, mounted on the upper arm with a single strap; this pack stores Magnetite and powers the COMP. Finally, the Battery Pack would be connected to a pair of goggles through another cable. The Goggles would feature a single earpiece on the left side, and the glasses of the Goggles would always show a HUD, which would accurately show the current moon phase, current status of the user like that of the demons. Currently, it had no Magnetite and no demons.] Nakajima: "Our worlds are more connected than I wanted to believe. I will remember the details. But this program... be careful with it. Demons will not obey someone who is weaker than them. They will kill you if they have the chance, all of them, with no exception. I’ll be sure to talk to Stephen about-" [Nakajima would keep his intense gaze looking forward at the group as everything around them comes to a halt, all losing color. Right behind him, a gateway back into the Akarana Corridor, where Ene, Tot, Prima and Penny are all waiting. Even though time had stopped, they would be able to take the COMP as much as they were able to leave anything behind. The effect would be the same.] The gateway would take them back to the main hourglass area, with the North platform now fully accessible, a bridge being created between their platform and the next. On that platform, there appears clear to see a gigantic and ancient looking gate that would only need for someone to push it open. A single look would make it clear it would take them anywhere but back home. In front of it there is a single red lance thrusted into the floor, in perfect condition. A side of it has the words "Host Club" written on it. Finally, the hourglass that requires six lights is now up to six, releasing a beam of light from below, and quickly opening a massive gateway back to Shibuya Crossing, where everything remains in a perpetual pause. In short, they could leave right away.]
