(Everyone minus Toki)
You are back in the velvet hotel room with your friends and Walton. Time to recuperate, train, sleep, buy up bitcoin, or make conspiracy theories. The amenities you have already been used to are readily available with a helpful addition. A spa! Now you too can look as chill and relaxed as the enemies that have pummeled you. The spa is located at the very end of the room wing. It is European style with open pools of various temperatures from burning to nordic ice bath. Past the immediate pools is a grandiose lake with seats near the water and brilliant sunshine overhead. If you aren't a pool person then there are resources available for facials, acupuncture, and messages. Throw your cares away!
"You know what, I don't care. I don't want to care for a bit. Magical room, give me a towel and a place to change in." [Easier done then said. I enter the suddenly appearing changing booth and fit all of my... Kazuya's clothes in there, sword and COMP included. I can get them back after anyways, as I treat this thing now as Resident Evil's Item Box (TM). I make sure to have a towel around my waist as I step out of the magical changing booth and look at the group with my usually serious face. Aloof? I think it was aloof.] "When I'm back, I really should exercise to get a body half as good as this guy. Minus the... scars and all. I don't feel like getting impaled and burnt and all that. See you guys, in like a bit. I'm not going next time." [I take a deep breath and shamelessly walk towards the hot springs I absolutely know there are.] "And I say hey, what a wonderful kind of day."
I tap my foot on the ground. "Ugh, does anyone have any ideas?" I sigh as I look over to the room Kaz emerged from... Maybe I could do something with that. "Have fun, Kaz." While I would say "looking good", I know for a fact that would make things awkward as hell.
The road ahead will be as dangerous as last time, if not more. I have to think about what I’ll do when I get there. Find the next target, maybe another link to Mish too. I should prepare myself for a struggle against- “HELL YEAH, HOT SPRING!” Forget that, I haven’t felt scalding hot water in forever! I only stop to strip off what little Cait Sith clothes I have before diving in. The initial heat is scorching but I let myself relax and get acclimated to the water. Reminds me of the time I went in a hot tub once. I should probably be taking things more seriously but the spa isn’t gonna use itself.

Huh, a hot spring.... Cant seem that bad, even if Ina is gonna get weaker just by being in it. Maybe Cait can dry me off after or something, as long as i dont stay wet i should be good. "Ill... Wait for you two to get out for my turn, i need some me time too"
"I did the most work so I'm obviously going to occupy this spa with these people instead of training." {I go into the changing booth and get a towel that I wrap around myself so hard like my life depends on it, because this body sure is something. Hopefully one towel can help me forget about being an anime girl, even though that was my dream before I wanted to relax.} {Silently and awkwardly, I hold my towel despite it being already wrapped around me tightly, for extra precautions and take a dip in the hot spring. Yeah, how amazing, nice relaxing water with some man I usually call my dad as a joke and a cat that I call my sister as a joke. Yeah, can't wait to get that snake I call my mom as a joke in on this action.} "...I hate company but I can't leave because I'm too lazy, uuuugggggggghhhhh-" {I started to blush as my mind went in all the wrong places. Hopefully they will think it's because of the heat instead of...what I'm experiencing. I get embarrased, trying to get lower and lower in the hot springs until my neck is submerged. I would try and go lower but then I risk looking like a creep...for a cat and a man. Curse me for trying to relax.}
"..." [Being already in the water, I'm okay with people being around, you know? That's okay, perfectly fine, totally fly. What I can't shake away however, is the feeling of... being watched.] "Cait, I'm just going to say. I know you're a cat right now, cat demon thing. But do not, and I repeat, do not look at me for as long as I remain here." [I wanted to be clear cuz I'm a wuss.] "...I mean you're like... what, 14? Something like that?" [I then point at Mal because he is annoying.] "And don't you look at me either, you're 14 too."

You enter the training room and are engulfed in instantaneous darkness. A pitch black that supresses all five of the senses. While amplifying your own throughts and internal noise. In the room you are able to feel the pattering of your heart as seconds dwindle by. Time is nothing here. This is the room that is created by your own thoughts. An anechoic chamber made to completely kill sound and light.
(edited by Raconteur)
"Are you serious, how are you nervous you adult? I'm a GIRL!" {My voice was raised just a slight bit. We are supposed to be relaxing, you know. Only I find the sound of my voice soothing anyway, so I don't want to try anyone's ears anymore. Especially the ones with the more sensitive triangular ears.} "Besides, if getting watched is that much of a problem to you, try seeing how I feel. If we want to look at someone that badly, let's just look at the cat..." {I tried my theory because my eyes had to point somewhere, so I did indeed look at Cait being a cat for a quick second. It felt too weird for me for some reason. I felt weird again. I lost the nerve to cry because I got unrelaxed in the relaxing place.} "I'm going to go burn my eyes now." {I submerge myself lower until my head's in water level, only looking at the edges of the tub with an extremely blurry vision. Is this unhealthy? Whatever, it's the only solution now...}
The feeling is mutual. I paddle to a spot a bit farther away. It’s a bit awkward even if I think of it like a public pool. I’m the... wait, am I the only actual girl here? I never really thought about Mal’s gender. Eh, still weird. Maybe I should close my eyes or enjoy the scenery. I let out a giggle that comes out as bubbles since my mouth’s half-underwater when Kaz makes the age comment. “My memory’s terrible from the whole dying thing, but I’m a full grown catto, like... 18 or 19. Senior year of high school.” I guess I don’t act my age sometimes. Still, I feel kinda old now.
I snap my fingers. I could make the perfect training room for myself where a minute or so is a year. Or something of the sort. Maybe. Or I could make it a constant death room where I die over the course of two years which would seem like minutes outside of the room. Fucking hell I don't know, all I know is that the room is being taken by someone else right now. "Hey, Walton, is there an extra changey room like that one around or is that the only one? I've honest to god forgotten."
Nothing. It was strange to actually witness it for once. It was the type of thing I'd usually try to avoid but it was necessary now. How long could I really last in this type of setting? No, I'd force myself to stay here even if it was grating. My mind had to adjust to this. This was my only option to look within. It should be possible, even with that thing festering inside knew there was something deeper.

Walton points in the direction of the spa. There is another changing room past the pools and hot spring.
(Quintus)
The longer you stay in the room the more you can hear the loudness of your own breath and beating hard. Over time noises develop from your digestings stomach, your bones, and anything else that shifts within your body.
(edited by Raconteur)
I start going that direction, but then I turn around to ask. "Okay, you know what I mean, right? Like the rooms that can change depending on what the user wants it to be. I don't actually mean a room where I can change my clothes."
"Dumbass, the body of a woman does not surprise me in the slightest. I'm not a virgin." [Girl or guy doesn't matter, I don't like being watched too much. I cross my arms as I come to learn that Cait is, apparently, not even a child like Mal, but about his age.] "...Are you serious? N-Not saying you're immature or anything but... well we did meet like what, two years ago? You were a lot younger, while I was already at least 18. Uh... sorry?" [I take a deep breath and look up at nothing in particular. Sure would be nice if it was the middle of the night or something.]

Oh? Walton is slightly miffed at confusing the inquiry and it shows with how fast he looks away. There is another training room. However, your group has not opened it yet. You only have the one for now.
“Eh, it’s fine, I’m not surprised, it’s hard to judge age over the internet. Plus I wasn’t super mature back then.” I shrug and sink back into the water, although keep an eye on Mal so they don’t accidentally drown themself in their shame. The feeling of the water against my fur is soothing. It’s like being gently stroked by a weightless force. I’m tempted to drift off but the heat keeps me awake. Probably for the best so I don’t roast like a lobster from being here too long.
"Jokes on you, I didn't hear what you just said because I was busy burning my retinas." {I was lying. I totally heard it. Goddamnit. Screw me for vaguely trying to guilt trip you into talking about me more I guess. At least knowing for sure Cait was an adult let me...relax more? No, that just makes this more awkward for me. I'm the one making it worst for myself. Maybe I should try to stop that. But talking in a hot spring?...Everyone else is doing it, what the fuck am I talking about? I should just strike a cute anime girl thinking pose by putting a finger on my chin, looking up at the ceiling, and forgetting this ever happened.} "But I thought that bit about Cait's age was obvious at least. Then again, I just assume everybody's an adult now. Online I was way more reserved because I wanted to be. Being in a body like this makes me feel more free, especially since I hated myself way more in the real world. And I can't even use it in the real world once we get there, what a bummer. Oh well, it gives me time to work on my personality." {Most likely my worst aspect so far...Wait, caring about personality? What is this some anime? Well, I might be too lazy to improve character development due to other people. I might as well improve it by myself if it's that bad so far. Whenever I get the chance at least, I'm too lazy and I only have time for acting like a pseudo-narcissist for now. Maybe if they get me to care, I'd stop procrastinating.}
Damnit, everything stopping me from being useful. "...Is there a place where I can kill myself for two years?"

There might be. I wouldn't advise it though. *I say this without ever looking up, continuing to make sure the metalic arm I now own continues to work for the next Lostbelt.*
"...The situation is complicated for us all. I have no clue as to what's happening, let alone why. This does prove to some degree that some kind of divine being exists though, right? All this should be impossible." [I don't know what to think anymore, or how to feel for that matter. Mish, killing Byakuran, being in Kazuya's body and getting to see the SMT demons, and even using a Persona. This is a bit too much. I try to keep my eyes closed because I need to think about anything else.] "...I woulnd't even be mad if Mish was at least around."
Jessica, a seemingly highschool age white, orange, and purple haired fox girl with the same color pallet for her clothes, drops down from a light blue portal into the hot springs, bobbing up as a mermaid. "um, hi, everyone?"
OOC: Closed, sorry, been running for a year now
"Eh, hot springs? Well, I guess I shouldn't pass up an opportunity to bond with the group." I then hustle to get changed right after everyone else, taking off all of Alphinaud's clothes and wrapping a towel around my chest. I then sit against the edge of the springs and dip my hand in the water, looking nervously at my reflection. "Cait looks kinda cute without her clothes." i sigh, facing away from her as my face becomes flush with embarrassment. "Sooo... would anyone object to letting me be on the next team? I think I might be able to help this time."
I've never been to a hot spring. All I know is hot bath water... Guess it's time to be a good little sheep and join the group. I head to the fitting room and undress down to my underwear. I'm not super fond of being in the nude with all these people I don't quite feel like I know. I take a towel and pass it over my shoulder before heading towards the others. "I'm sure no one on the returning team will object to that, "Master Alphinaud". I say his name with a tinge of sarcasm, though not meaning to actually imply any ill will. "As far as I'm concerned, the going was pretty rough over there. I didn't have much time to think it over on the spot, but I feel like the coming days will be mostly filled with mulling over my decisions and mistakes." Although... "Some of us had it pretty rough out there, y'see. So I'm not exactly jumping at the idea of going back anytime soon."

Walton states. You could end yourself in the hot tub or in the other hotel amenities but you would just come back to life each time. It would be an exercise in futility.
{Oh wow, these people just had to interrupt the family bonding huh? Especially Mona who called the cat without clothes cute. That statement had me sent to another dimension, my body shivered a bit to show how much I cringed, it was like the hot water got cold somehow...well, at least somebody else said it.} "Yep, some of us indeed. Which includes me. I've had it rough there, and I'm especially having it rough now. I need to leave this place, this human interaction is so stupid..." { I started talking faster as I awkwardly shifted my way out, grabbing my towel and tightening it more despite being out the water. While I would have tried and added "no offense" since I said human interaction in front of a cat, I didn't care. It didn't matter, she was human on the inside anyway. What matters is that I dry myself off, change back into my clothes, and leave the cursed area before I really drown myself in there.}
I simply sigh and walk away. "Goddamnit, fine, I'll just wait I guess." I feel absolutely defeated, so I head over to the hot spring, I'm not gonna go into the water or anything, I just need to talk to people. "Heyo, lads."
Yeah, I’m kind of considering Mal’s idea of killing myself in the hot tub now. I’m too stunned to give Mona any kind of response other than sinking deeper into the water. Nope. Staying underwater where the sound can’t get me. My survival instincts finally kick in and I climb out of the water with a gasp. I’m just gonna... crawl over to cooler water and keep myself busy by swimming around in that pool instead. The water’s a shock and my body’s weirdly built but my community center swim lessons haven’t left me yet. After diving down a few times, I let myself float on my back and relax.
"Mona, I swear to god, you could not be more embarrassing." [Cringe was an understatement. I would hang on to my towel with both eyes closed as I leave the hot springs, walking instead into yet another magical, portable divise such as those Doraemon always had. I would cool my body, dry up and quickly change into my clothes.] "This is ass, I'll go relax in a place where no one will say anything." [That's right, I jump on some sofa and began nap as quickly as I wrote thi-err, decided to do this.]
And now everyone is leaving. Great. Just when I needed people to rant to. "Well ain't this fucking grand. What happened?"
How long had I been in here already? Maybe time is irrelevant now. It's so quiet... I had moments like these before. Where the quiet made me hear the workings of my own body but this was different. Those sounds were now in full volume. What was it that I wanted to do here? What was it exactly that I was looking for? Was this a form of self punishment or did I have some reason behind this madness? What was I trying to listen to? My own thoughts? Maybe...this was still just me making excuses or trying to run away from things. No, wait, I think I hear something...Do I? What is that I... No, it's not loud enough yet...I have to wait for it, no matter how long it takes.
“Mona was being creepy. And didn’t say no homo to this cat dude’s body.” Finally I get a half-decent quip for that experience. I roll over and grab the edge of the pool so I can both chill and see Ted. “I’m guessing your suicide plan didn’t work out? No offense, but as your friend, I have to say this: it was a stupid plan. Friends don’t let friends death loop themselves.”
I sigh. "Well, it could work out if someone wasn't already using the room. Theoretically, I could probably make a death loop chamber where years inside is a smaller unit of time. But then again, I could also make it do that to simply age up Niko and train but... Eh, I wanna hear your opinion." Thinking back, I expected everyone to be all sorta buddy-buddy and friends. Working together. I mean, except for Mona, but still. I... I think I'm starting to feel a lack of hope. "I also want to hear what everyone else thinks... Buuuuut, honestly, you're probably one of the few people who get me at the moment, y'know?"

I sigh, realizing i guess it cant hurt to be in the spa with other people. Even if Mona is one of them, since i could at least kick him really hard if he tries being pervy while im in this body. I get changed in the changing room, put on a towel and just relax in the water. "WOW this actually feels really nice, even if now my fire is barely enough to warm a marshmallow..."
Getting in a death loop sounds pretty bad Ted. I wouldn't go through with it. After a small while of thinking, I walk over to Watson and start to ask him a question. So, this place is where all the dead characters are right? Lets say I wanted to find one of them, how would I go about that? I want to try something...

It's Walton ... Walton maintains his detached demeanor but his eyebrows clearly furrow with annoyance. His name wasn't that hard to say. The land outside carries the remains of the deceased. Not the room itself. To find a specific body you would first have to give me a name. Then I would open the door that is closest to where the body rests. I must warn you though - Walton hesitantly shares. The dead do not take kind to the living.
“It’s not that I’m worried about you dying. I mean, you look pretty fine with the idea, and we can come back anyway. I’m just really worried about your soul decaying.” I shudder, but not from the water’s chill. The idea of a soul dying out ties into my second worst fear. First is heights, but the idea of being wiped from existence after death is nudging its way up towards that spot. I thought I was over it mostly, but while the second group was gone I kind of... lost it for a moment. It was a mini breakdown in a spare room and I covered my mouth to not bother anyone with the noise I was making, but it was still an episode I’m glad didn’t creep up on me in public. Just thinking about this is making panic stir in my chest. “Don’t give up on that body just yet. Ya got a cool demon fox Persona and the right height for breaking kneecaps.”
Well, even if I were to die multiple times enough for my soul to detach... Who knows what I would get anyway. "Ah, right. You're right about that." Training for awhile in a chamber where time doesn't mean much sounds like a safer option anyway. "I won't give up on it, but I need some upgrades. Height is definitely something I need. While being young and full of energy again is great, and I could fit into smaller spots... I need the height. Also, I need to work on my persona a bit... He kinda doesn't listen... You know what I mean?"
I would spend a few minutes in the hot springs silently, not really being into it. It wasn't long before I put my clothes back on, not really bothering to dry myself completely. I would then return to the hot springs, sighing as I look down at Niko. "Hey, I'll admit I was being kind of an asshole at the beginning of all this. Can we put that all that aside for a moment? I'd like to talk." I lend out my right hand to him as a show of good faith before looking over at the people at the hot springs. "I suppose i'd like to talk to everyone else, too."

Hm... Height huh... "Hey, all 3 of us are pretty short, Cait jokes about the 2 tiny people in a trench coat thing, but whos to say that you guys can't get on my shoulders and we can have a giant tower of pain or something?" I chuckle a bit, thinking of the hilarious sight of 3 fluffballs all stacked up, but hey, it could work.
Persona not listening? I frown and try to remember my good ol’ Persona lore. That’s not as extreme as Strega with Personas literally killing them, and Ted doesn’t have a Shadow to yell at like in Persona 4. It’s a part of him, though, so he should be able to handle it, right? “Maybe you need to teach it who’s boss. Have a chat with it, maybe do self-reflection like you’re in Persona 4, anything! Or... hey, maybe it’s like Pokémon; you need to get a certain amount of badges - in this case mental control - to get it to listen to you. Oh! Maybe it’s a high level and that’s why it doesn’t wanna listen!” My eyes widen at Bona’s suggestion. “Yes. Absolutely yes. The Invincible Cat Tower.” I don’t respond to Mona, but I’m still half-listening.
(edited by Cait_Sith)
I nod to Cait. "Maybe it wasn't a full awakening or something? Kinda did it in the heat of the moment and such so maybe I wasn't... Fully feeling a resolve?" I don't even respond to Bona. "Alright, Mona, I'll humor you. Go on and say what's on your mind."
I give Niko a genuine smile, fiddling with the pockets in my clothes. "Well, I just wanted to say that i'm willing to do my best to see us all out of this in one piece. If it comes to it, i'll be one to anihilate the enemy. And... I'd like for us to work together. That's all I can ask." I place my hands in my pockets, slouching slightly as I sigh once more.

"....." After hearing what Mona said to Niko, my hesitant nature towards him lowers a bit. After all, i was a dumb kid back then, and even if he was kinda rude at times, i really need to rely on people, even if me and them dont exactly agree all the time. "Listen, while i cant say i can trust you just yet, i can at least say that part of the problems between us was because of me being a dumb little kid at the time. Im at least glad youre trying to be the better person towards people. I guess it cant hurt to have people to rely on.* I sigh a bit, relaxing a bit more. "So for now, i dont mind calling you an ally."
Close enoguh~ Hmm, well his name is Danksuya, died by a pistol to the head if that helps. And you won't have to worry about me. Getting stronger is gonna take effort. And fighting one of my characters to the death seems like a worthy opponent. and if anything I should say sorry for killing you
I let go of the ledge, letting myself float weightless in the water as I think about Mona’s words. Have we gotten along even back then? Not really, but those feelings aren’t as potent anymore. He mighta been a bit annoying, but I was kind of dumb back then too. Things also change when our souls are on the line. “Hey, I’ve been working with you for a bit, and that ain’t changing. I still don’t trust you completely since you threatened to kill me once, but I’ll still be a team player. Count on it.”
Go on, tell him, killer. Well, I don't trust him at all, but... "Ah, what the hell, I'll work with you." I've got a role to play, and by god I'm gonna make it seem sincere. "We're gonna be closely knit. Thick as thieves." He'll make for a good meatshield. Or punching bag. Whichever comes first.
"Ah, so that's one worry I can set aside, at least." I adjust my shirt, scratching around the back of my neck. "And, Niko, that last thing you said doesn't sound all that convincing. We'd be a comedy duo that can't stand each other but pretend to when performing, if anything. Maybe we could even make a routine together to help raise the spirits or something."
Right, people don't really say "thick as thieves" much, do they? "Hey, thick as thieves is something I tell all my friends. Anyway, I'm just gonna go wait by the magical change room door." I leave the hot springs and chill over by the door to... I guess your creativity is the limit. Hopefully they'll leave the room soon.
By god does this all sound ridiculous. Staying in the hot water, I silently listen to what the others are saying. It's making me cringe a little. More and more do they sound like shounen protagonists. I'm fairly sure they'll betray one another at the first hint of danger. Now I don't mean to be so cynical and disappointed with life. After all, I'm still a very happy go lucky and trusting person... But displays like these just don't seem like proper trust and friendship. I just hope I can be proven wrong on this. "If you've all agreed to being "thick as thieves" (man does it sound fun to say), then surely you've also thought about who's going on the next mission, right?" I say this loudly enough that all those present can hear me.
I answer Liam rather quickly, giving it a little thought Makes no sense the people who just went should go again. At least that's how I see it. I volunteer at any rate. Oh, and only people who want to go should. Otherwise you'll probably slow the others down.

"I know for a fact I'm going. I wanna pull some weight around here, too, so i might as well try my best to get us out of here...." I look a little hesitant and decide to voice my concerns. If im gonna be working with these people they should know what im scared of. "Hey.... If any of you guys are in the audience... You guys wont mess with my soul right? Im sorry if i do stupid stuff but im just a stupid kid, i barely know better...."
“I’ve had my break, so I’m all set to jump into this next adventure. I don’t wanna be useless and sleep like the cat I am.” I’d been itching to get out and move the longer I’d been waiting. Sure, it’s scary out there, but I want to prove myself. Having my only mission be a failure is terrible for my record. What kind of world will be next? “You guys got any idea what’ll be next? I don’t watch a bunch of anime so I don’t have much to go off of.”

Walton enters the spa. He ignores all the half clothed people/cats and gets right to the point. I have prepared the necessary door. He looks directly at you. Meet me in the lobby when you are ready. Walton then leaves.
"Obviously it will be Ruroni Kenshin. Or, at least, the probablility of it being that has increased." With that being said, I follow Walton to the lobby. "I hope you know you have no character of your own, Walter. Much like Akechi, who only exists for a plot point."

A door made of pure light is open in front of you. A graveyard would reveal itself to you if some time passes before you enter. If anyone other than you tries to enter the door they would be tossed back as if spit out by the light. [i]Safe travels.
Walton bows at you.
I take a deep breath before nodding at Walton and passing through, keeping Mordred close to my side in blade mode as I think about what to say. If I should even say anything. I meant for Dank to do his spill during his fight but uh. It didn't end up going that way. I wonder if he blames me for that. At any rate I'll figure out soon enough.

You enter the graveyard you originally started in. The moon eternally hangs above your head as a cold sensation seeps into your bones. Making your teeth and joints hurt. There is no longer a mishmans there to watch over you but the place feels claustrophobic on its own. A thousand eyes could be staring at you right now or it could all be in your head. Hopefully it is all in your head. Like before there are a ton of graves marked by semi-eroded tombstones. One stands out the most to you though as if beckoning specficially to you. It stands toward your furthest right by the iron fence. If you choose to approach you will quickly notice that the tombstone is newer then the rest. The fine print on the stone slab is still legible and it reads ... "Blazed it" Accompanied by Danksuya's name right underneath but who really cares for that. There is a freshly dug human sized hole right in front of the tombstone with a drop that is endlessly dark. So what now?
Walking forward I feel the eyes on my skin, I itch it as I stumble forward, the feeling of eyes have always unnerved me. Even if I don't don't look infected it still weighs heavily on me. By the time I reach the grave my resolve is a little weakened. I brush the gravestone and stand over the hole. Kneeling down and closing my eyes. If I remember correctly I appeared in one of these so he should be the same right? The truth first. So.. I don't know if you can hear this, but. I guess I'm sorry? I kinda made you a giant joke. A mute chaos fag protagonist. Who constantly smokes and wears that hat. I wanted to eventually redeem you, give you a speech about how your life was to the other Suya and then maybe you could have been a good guy. It was a better story to have you die though eh? So while I am sorry... I don't regret it. I then remain sitting there. Really let it sink in. He deserves his moment if he can hear me.

You dive into the pit. Falling for a while, you quickly hit terminal velocity and almost get skinned alive by the air. Your poor eyeballs suffer and your ears pop several times, but when you land at least you don't crash. Instead your fall is stopped right before you hit the white stage beneath and you are flipped back on your feet by an unseen force. Welcome to the gauntlet!!!!! An invisible announcer screams. As you get your bearings you see that you are on a wrestling stage with rubber blocking ropes, an overhead four-way screen, and anything else that is needed for a proper first fight. There is also an audience watching you from every angle. Most are on the seats being glared out by the overhead lighting. While the few near the stage look like Danksuya. You can see as these Danksuya's grab onto the ropes to observe better. Some are better behaved and wait on their seats for the grudge match to start. Today we have a deadly match between Pancake Knight the deserter! Judging by the ensuing boos from the Danksuya's and the audience are it's obvious that you are not the clear favorite. And our lionhearted champion, Tatsuyaaaa! The audience and the Danksuya's erupt into a frenzy of applause. A spotlight shines over a space in the middle of the audience revealing a whole lot more Danksuya's and their proclaimed champion Tatsuya. All the screens switch to this him waiting to project his response.
The man in a red coat with a large blazing sword attached to his back would simply sigh as PK falls down into the ring, while the annouancer is still speaking PK would find himself beset upon with a loud ringing sound blasting into his ears and a huge burst of light from right below his feet unless he moved merely a split second after entering the ring. "Obey, ever seeking flight." A large silver revolver with the word 'obey' written upon its right side would appear in his hands as huge bullets fly straight at the young man. Aiming to blast into his heart without a second throught and not taking long at all to reach their target, even if PK found a way to dodge he would realize the magical gun's shots are homing in upon his body and curving around from wherever they had flown after the evasion. His only hope would be finding a way to block or destory the projectiles before he's hit dead on. Or perhaps getting them stuck in a less important but still painful part of his body. "Geez... You actually decided to come down here huh? What a stupid move, I don't exactly have anything against you personally kid. But this has to happen now, just try and give me a fight that's not a total bore okay? I would be kinda disappointed if an open like that did you in right from the start." The demon hunter smirks slightly while watching the results of his tradtional sucker punching barrage upon this foe, his voice doesn't sound mocking or cruel just... Resigned a bit, and despite the brutal attack he seems fairly friendly. Insofar as a man who's currently trying to murder you can be friendly.
This is why I hate heights. I fall and fall, cursing myself for going down a bottomless home, I should of at least did the ol rock test first. At least I can do better in my next life, provided I get out of this hole. However my train of thought is interrupted when I don't get turned into a pancake. Instead I stumble up and look around, hundreds and hundreds of suyas surrounding me. I thought that maybe I could take on a Danksuya. But that Tatsuya? If it's the one I'm thinking about, I bit off more then I could chew Uh... Damn. Maybe I can deceive him for a bit? They don't know I'm PK the writer yet right? I'll take any advantage I can get at this stage. Clearing my throat I try to shout as loud as I can, hiding Mordred for the time being. If he thinks my persona is still pancakes and syrup I might have an edge Ah! Tatsuya! Friend! How are y- Light then fills my vision as a gunshot rings out, Mordred instinctively deflects the shot, giving me enough time to quickly cast a tetrakarn after recovering from the flash, and reflect the bullet right back at full force. Dropping the act rather quickly. No use trying to pull one over you. I'm sure you understand that I'm the writer PK and not the character. And I'll try my best to live up to your expectations. I then smirk a little before quickly morphing Mordred again, turning the greatsword into a kite shield as I run forward, turning my beam blade to ice as I slash upwards. Not committing to hard to anything just yet.

The man would grin slightly, his weapon's control over the magical bullet shattering in an instant as PK's Persona sends it back at him. That's hardly enough to catch Tatsu off guard though, and the tall figure of Apollo dressed in red and white with his eyes gleaming from behind the mask would send a massive wave of flames rushing across the field towards PK, easily leaving the bullet nothing more than melted slag as the swordsman draws his blade, having been dashing towards the enemy using the flames as cover. "Sorry, that trick isn't a bad idea in theory but I... Sort of knew this fight had to happen. But hey, maybe you'll learn something useful!" A beam blade covered in ice, clashing against Gram. The legendary blade once known for slaying of dragons, long since having melded with flames from the burning power within its second owner. The attack Apollo had cast was indeed meant to hit PK, but it was a slow wave that got used for concealing as much as anything. Tatsuya himself however would rush out from it in a blur of motion, sword aiming to chop into the young man's chest by darting towards him with frankly inhuman speed from the left side, seeking to cut straight past PK's guard. Or at least burn away the ice with both the natural mystic power of his sword, and the magic flowing through it. In addition, PK would be met with an explosion of flames going off inside the man's coat which doesn't deal his foe any harm, a grenade full of fire which blazes with a bright light and coats the area around them while the man tries to apply brutal melee force. "I had a few angles going on there, admittedly. You avoided the first attack so easily that I feel a need to ramp it up some man! That's something to be proud of."
I grin a little as I quickly respond Nothing personnel then. It's just business who wins and losses. And sorry to say, but I won't lose! Seeing the initial wave of fire makes me tense up, relying on Mordred's shield to block most of it. He does so successfully but it does hurt my psyche a small amount as some head pains set in. The real danger sets in though when the sword comes straight for my chest. Mordred pulls backward in response, dragging me back towards the edges of the rope and causing the sword to cut my chest lightly. The fire and some enhanced passive regen would prevent blood from spilling out, but it still hurt pretty bad. As the distance grows between us, the grenade blasts do little to hurt me. Nngh... Nothing proud about getting beat on. I try my best though. I check over my faculties as I take a small breather. My laser blade is still at full charge, but Mordred's taking a beating and so am I. I rattle my head for a solution to this and smile as I think of one. It's insane, but it might just work... Heh. Every good wrestling match needs a heel! And I plan to fulfill that role! Mordred! Let's do this! I cast a small heat riser to buff myself up before tossing mordred into the air, at the peak of the throw it immediately splinters and remorphs into 4 black daggers. Menacingly floating in the air. Meanwhile I grasp my laser blade and flatten the blade. Turning it from a blade into more like a plank of ice energy. Less useful for attack but much more useful to block with.

Things are heating up as Tatsuya and Pancake Knight aim for the kill! There is no cheer to accompany this announcement. All the Danksuyas that had been near you and Tatsuya or in the middle of the strikes are severely incapacitated. They litter the floor like abandoned dolls with their strings cuts. While the barely injured or uninjured flee to the higher rungs of the stadium to avoid being caught in the middle. Should you look down you would see the glassy eyes of Danksuya in the multitudes. Should you look up you would notice the awed yet scared gazes of Danksuya copied and pasted across an audience. The announcer doesn't care about any of this and continues to relay the play by play of the fight.
Tatsuya would laugh a bit, casually grinning at the young man even as he brutally tries to kill him. No reason to be a dick about this murder thing after all. "Eh, you may be getting beaten around some. But you're not dead yet, and that's a lot more than most could say against me giving it serious effort... Though I think it's time for a bit of a switch, ice doesn't sit well with Apollo as I'd suspect you remember. Come, LUCIFER!" As PK begins to focus upon defense with the ice energy, he'd be met with the red masked hero vanishing. Replaced by the horrible white skined red eyed fallen angel, four wings upon his back and a pair of large horns growing from his head's top. "Another Dimension!" Space and time begin to warp horribly, the Persona and its user both vanishing from sight and indeed not seeming to exist anywhere at all. They'd reappear a few moments later. Tatsuya directly in front of PK, his burning sword aiming to stab into the boy's right shoulder with brutal speed, the Persona behind him. A sword of pure white almighty power held in its hands and going to cut through the left leg at exactly the same time as Tatsu's stab. An attack from two totally different angles with no warning or real time to prepare. "I wonder if you could find a way to survive my Armageddon? Not that I'm going to resort to that yet, but it would be interesting to see."
I take a deep breath as I watch Apollo disappear before my eyes. Persona 2 summoner. Right. I rack my head for information about lucifer but it's been too long and I was never that invested in the gameplay of P2. So I try to think of something snappy to say instead. Uh. Thanks? You too? Gonna be honest. I just spammed fusion spells with the base personas on easy. Great work PK. As soon as the duo disappear I put my plan into action. Mordred immediately flies toward the nearest Danksuya and stabs each appendage with a knife. Digging it in deep before controlling them like a bloody marionette. As soon as the duo reappear The marionette pushes me aside and tanks the hits for me. If it was successful in taking both hits. It would then grab onto Tatsuya's sword. Keeping it stuck in the marionette's shoulder. While on the floor I attempt get up and towards the opposing ropes. Turning around at the last second and using it as a sling shot to blast myself back at Tatsuya for a running clothesline. Of course the swing is a little wimpy without Mordred to assist. But you don't need much skill to hold your arms out. Heh. I did say I would play the villian. And a hostage seems like a reasonable way to avoid some damage!
(edited by Pancake_Knight)
Tatsuya would narrow his eyes a bit as the Danksuya gets used like a human shield, that's... Brutal, even by the old man's standards. But those things are seemingly fairly lifeless copies so he can understand being willing to do this, he supposes. That's not going to stop the man from trying to avoid having to kill this copy though, if only out of spite. Lucifer would hover behind its master with gleaming red eyes, darkness forming all around its body and suddenly taking the shape of... Large quick moving insects of some sort, darting towards PK's body all over the beasts made of magical shadow would aim to chomp down upon their foe, biting in and infusing whatever they manage to hit with curses of darkness which would leave the wounds bleeding horribly. There's a large enough number that dodging this imitation of a swarm master might just be rather tricky too. "I see, that's... Quite the tactic alright, I'll have to get a bit more creative to get around this one... Hah, look at me. Fighting harder in death than I usually did in life." He can't help a bitter chuckle while making that remark, the silver gun appearing in his hands again and this time releasing a pair of bullets which fly at different points, one aiming to slam into PK's left side right at the hip. The other shooting straight at his right shoulder. This does have the issue of leaving the man without his sword in hand though, PK did manage to do that which is why he's resorted to shooting again. He even manages to do some damage with this attack, though Lucifer's power seems to render him resistant to physical blows. And the swarm of darkness doesn't vanish even while Tatsu takes a couple seconds to focus again. His gun having been knocked slightly off aim and stopping further firing for a precious few moments even while the bugs bite in wildly.
How long have I been here? Has it been over an hour yet? Everything is so loud. The sounds of my heart pumping back and forth, the sound of blood flowing through my veins, my bones grate against each other, my intestines shuffle occasionally. I even feel like I'll start hearing something as silent as the electric pulses of my brain cells any moment now. Why am I doing this? What's the purpose of this insanity? Is this a punishment or am I really looking for something. There it is again, that feeling. Someone or something is trying to speak to me... For a moment silence as my head starting to hurt. Something in my forehead felt like it was starting to leak out as a burning pain emerged. Was it time already? Is this what death felt like? Then it would appear before me, forming from some black sludge I had finally noticed was dripping from my forehead. The dripping, it seemed to bring some end to the maddening quiet of the room but it didn't feel all that pleasant to look at. The thing before me, it appeared as an endless whirlpool floating in mid-air. From it a voice began to speak, a voice like my own but deeper and distorted. ???: "You who holds a wound upon thy soul. You are not my master but another. The one before could keep the infection at bay but you do not posses such a trait. That is why I have come, to deepen the wound that will eventually bleed you dry." What is this, some kind of game? To think this would actually happen to me. So, what was my role in this game? Was I just a side character who would die alone in this quiet madness? ???: "You are not blind. You know what I am. The plague of doubt born from your own indecision. Do you believe I have come to consume you? it is not yet time...you have yet to fully bleed out and at this rate your soul will simply erode away before it is time. What is it that you seek? Do you wish to expand the lives of others since you know your fate is sealed? Will you deepen those cracks so that you may perish faster? It is preferable if you would allow me to consume you rather than eroding away, for that is my purpose." I would look upwards to the whirlpool like formation. It was clear, all my bad decisions, all the doubts I had, they'd all be circling around and around in that place. I had nothing left to offer everyone. I was too weak to actually do anything on my own, even now. Using my voice was hard, even forming words almost seemed impossible but I'd try and let out a whisper anyway. "Did my...decision ever...matter?" It was all I could think to say. The whirlpool would seem to begin dripping more black sludge on the ground beneath it as it shrank. I could feel the pain in my head fading as the sounds returned but not before it left me with a parting message. ???: "Then our contract is sealed as is your fate."
That was a nice little spa trip, but I can only swim so many circles in a pool before getting tired. I can swim better in this body now, though, so that’ll maybe come in handy sometime. I climb out of the pool and wander off to get dried off. As I grab my clothes and begin to get my fur blowdried and fluffy, my mind wanders to the upcoming mission. I’ll have to be more help there, right? It can’t go as bad as it did last time. I’ll have to trust that everyone can pick up any slack I got. Mona, Ted, Bona, Gamma... where the heck is Gamma anyway? I hope he’s not dead. And I don’t mean dead like we can come back from, I mean deader than dead. Obliterated from existence. That - okay, not thinking about that, not the time for another existential crisis.
I smile as my tactic worked out for me. Was it brutal? Was it morally ambiguous? Did I care? Not really. I was trading my life for one of theirs. As long as I live through this I'll count my sins later. Heh. I'm fighting as had as I can too. Usually I would lose, but I'll pulling out everything this time! As Lucifer turns into a dark swarm I am stunned for a short while, as they bite numerous holes in my clothes and skin. Man I hate insects. To repell them I take my laser blade and begin expelling all of its charge. Electrocuting anything that came in contact with me. Luckily the electricity didn't hurt me, but the bugs might be a different story. As blood pools below me Mordred sees the gun being pulled out again. In response it breaks the Marionette's left arm before freeing its left knife. Attempting to deflect the bullets for a time. Unfortunately it's a little slow and the one aimed for the hip hits it's mark. The other one is batted away for the time being though. Meanwhile the Marionette lodges the sword out of it, wielding it with one arm as it attempts to slam it down on Tatsuya.

The darkness of the room swirls back, releasing a white space in its place. As sound returns your internal noise is silenced once more. You may find it difficult to stand up after such an experience. Or perhaps you have obtained a new tool to help you with that. Whether for better or worse you survived the anechoic chamber. A door forms on a wall to your left-hand side.
(Pancake Knight)
The forlorn voice of Danksuya rises from the pile of the dead. You said you were sorry ... The voice moans with palpable hatred. You rergret nothing. You regret nothing. You regret nothing. The voice moans out as the battle continues.
Tatsu would sigh a bit, the bugs do indeed vanish soon enough from PK's attack. That doesn't get rid of the festering wounds they've dealt though. And the blood just doesn't stop pouring out despite how small those are. It does leave the Persona user without his gods and monsters for a moment though, enough to dish out a solid blow straight into his chest that sends the man reeling backwards with a smile. "Hah, oh that actually hurt a little. Won't slow me down right now... But hey you got a solid hit now, good job kid!" Soon enough his Persona is back, this time it's Apollo once again as the man's body is covered with gleaming white hot energy all around it. "Heat Kasier!" As he rushes back up and points his hand at PK's location, magical energy would burn up in a huge display of power before... The whole world just turns pure white for a moment, the entire field is covered in blazing Nuclear magic as Apollo launches his attack from behind his user. Engulfing everything in a massive blasting zone that even covers Tatsuya, of course the energy can't hurt him while using Apollo, so that's no issue. And it leaves nowhere to run, the only option at this point would be an effort at blocking and praying he supposes. "No clever trick this time, just pure power and the will to destroy."
I brush aside the dreadful voices as I concentrate on whats in front of me. This was life or continual death. I was sorry earlier. But after seeing them throw me into this? I feel justified in my decisions now. They wouldn't hesitate to kill me so I shouldn't hesitate to kill them. Just be quiet and be the silent side character you always were The wounds sustained from the bugs would bleed for a bit longer but would eventually be patched up by the passive regeneration from Mordred. I do smirk a little as Mordred does land a hit though. Heh. If you can make god bleed people stop believing in him! However as soon as I finish a blast of white begins to fill the room, obscuring everything Oh shit. Spoke too soon. In response I dive behind the Marionette before recalling Mordred. There was no way I could see of dodging this so I'll let the Marionette tank as much as I can before taking it on the chin. Even with the little cover I have though my weakness to Nuclear does a number on my body. Leaving me just a few inches from the grave. As I stand bloodied and burned I summon forth a large blue book and fuse mordred into two separate sets of shackles. Flipping the book open with a wave of my hand as I speak through pained breaths This is my all or nothing gambit at this point. I hope you didn't forget this thing. The Compendium. As I flip through the book, the floor begins to glow a light blue as a door frame seems to materialise behind Tatsuya. Meanwhile the two sets of shackles fly towards him. Attempting to chain him down and prevent any movement as the door opens up. Through the doorway is a vast expanse of emptiness. I only used this move once before on Hazama but it seems appropriate eh? I guess it isn't unfair to call this an Astral Finish. If you can dodge this I guess you've got me this life.
Tatsuya would draw out his gun, blasting wildly at the shackles while they form. A barrage of magical homing bullets rushing towards them and dealing out just enough impact to slow them down slightly. He'd run like a man posessed, slightly inhuman prowess from both years of keeping up with demons and his Persona carrying the old warrior forward just barely fast enough to evade the chains. It's close, but he manages i-... Only to have one of them grab onto his left side. Only half in its range for now though, and with the last few seconds before he's pulled into the void the man would raise up his Evoker to his head with a grim smile on his face. "Seems as though you got me, but not quite well enough to stop this. You've won PK, but I won't let you win without dying at least once. Sorry." As he says that Lucifer would reform behind him, this time with the form of another Persona appearing as well... The red eyed white fallen angel, and a dark-grey figure with chains on his hands and mouth. Covered in scales with a wide open mouth and seemingly no eyes. "Lucifer, Satan, Final Armageddon!" By this point the chains would be pulling Tatsuya in despite his best efforts, that's fine though. Because the ungodly flow of magic that's more powerful than anything else he's ever done is moving so fast it won't be stopped. Not soon enough anyway. The two Personas would fly high above the battle field, cracking and seemingly bleeding some black ooze not unlike the wounds of a Shadow. The power being used here is so overwhelming it's probably Tatsuya's own life force along with all his magic. A fact that becomes all the more obvious as the unstoppable almightly energy of the attack rushes down from above. It doesn't just ungulf the whole battlefield, it engulfs everything in the room all at once. Raw magical energy that simply tears through any defense short of a god's own power coming to life and taking the shape of a nuclear mushroom cloud just blasting through the entire area and turning everything to dust. It's probably overkill, if he were going to fight much longer this would leave Tatsuya at a massive disadvantage... But those chains sealed his doom anyway, and as the man's almost lifeless body is dragged into the void he'd just smirk slightly. PK may or or may not see it given he's probably being torn apart right now. The Danksuyas oddly are not getting torn apart, somehow stopped by an odd quirk of the magic which focuses the blast in on PK despite engulfing the area in light. And the Demon Hunter offers his foe a smile and thumbs up before vanishing into the void, presumably to die. Unlike his enemy, he won't be coming back either.
Battle Over
As the Chains grab on I smirk as I follow through to the other dimemsion. Vast amounts of energy fills my hands as multitudes of weapons are formed from memories. High frequency blades, katanas, swords, hooks, guns, axes, and spears. Soon the entire realm is filled with weapons from various franchises. The chains latch on and prevent and further movement as they all strike at once. Eviscerating Tatsuya before the realm fills with light and blasts everyone out. Velvet Strike. Mark two. However. While my finisher was happening the Final Armageddon was undergoing in the ring. As soon as I'm blasted out I get blasted by the burst of energy. Completely drained of everything I accept my fate and look towards my enemy. Smiling back. When the strike is over. There is no trace that I even existed here. Save for specs of dust.

The arena and Danksuya are obliterated. You wake up in the graveyard. You are lying down on the barren earth as dry grass scratches your face. Once more you are in front of Danksuya's grave, but this time the coffin-shaped hole is gone. There is not indication that it had ever been there. The grave marker has also changed. It is now shaped like the sword you use and etched on it are the words "Not cool dude". The blue door leading back to the hotel lobby is near the graveyard entrance. Danksuya's hat rests in front of the door, but should you touch it. Well ... You will instantly be given the pain that you dealt to every Danksuya in the arena. Almost a thousand painful deaths at once in the span of the moment. The dead always get their revenge.
I awaken with a start. Getting up and looking around my surrondings for a bit before gathering my thoughts. Suprised that I didn't revive with too much pain. Odd. Regardless I look upon the grave stone and smile. I held my own versus a strong opponent. I've definitely gotten stronger. At any rate I reach for the hat to claim my prize. But when I do pain shoots out throughout my body. Paralyzing me as I fall to the ground in shock. Crying out for a solid minute. Eventually I stand up. Shaken. But alive. Regardless of what I go through I will survive. Perhaps I'll be a little more tight about who to cut down. But an enemy is still an enemy. And no mercy can be given. As I stand back up I put on the cap before muttering under my breath and heading home Not cool dude...

You are back in the hotel lobby. Walton looks up with interest as you cross over yet once you are in he goes back to doing whatever he does behind his desk. As Walton looks down at his own work he mutters to you. You and your companions should begin planning for the next world.
Right, planning. PK looks a bit shaken up - where the heck was he? - but we’re as ready as we’ll ever be. I look like a puffball now that my fur is dried so I try to get it smoothed down as I chatter. “Alright, party limit is... 6? Or is it different this run? I dunno, my memory’s shot. But I’m definitely going. I don’t want a track record of only failed missions, nya. What kinda place are we going anyway?” My lack of anime knowledge is going to kill me, I know it.
I let out a sigh. "Fuck it, I'm just gonna..." I knock on the door to the magical training room thing. What could go wrong, right?

"All I'm hoping is that it doesn't have to deal with water... If its like... One Piece or something, im definitely screwed." I sigh, REALLY hoping i dont jinx myself. "I'm going too, if theres no objections. As long as i have people watching my back, i shouldnt be going down easily. Hell, we might be able to team up, cait! I mean fire and wind are usually a pretty good combination!" I go to get changed, and try to mentally prepare myself. Im not gonna screw this up. I'm gonna pull my weight and get everyone out of here
I overhear Bona speak, talking to myself out loud. "Fire and wind? What about poison and wind?" I then smirk, expressing myself with a confident grin as I make a lecturing gesture with my right hand. "Hey, Cait... I just had a great idea for a fusion spell. Your wind plus my poison. Gale of contagion. Heavy wind damage to all foes and poison with potency: 60."

You hear a distant knocking.
“Fire and wind... could work, but dunno if it’ll blow out the fire. Poison sounds more reliable but I’d save it for AOE. But that makes three of us so far... four if Ted’s coming along.” What’s he even doing...? Trying to use that room? Dunno what the purpose of it is but I hope it doesn’t take too long. I look around for anyone else that seems interested. Gamma still isn’t around. Is he...? No, he can’t be. He’s got to come back eventually.

*I hum, slowly putting the tools back in the lab coat I'd pulled them from.* Well, we don't know what it's going to be until we go there, right? No point in worrying. Either way, I'm going to go and pray that's it's not completely submerged in water. I wrote Sam's arm as waterproof, but he still has an electrical current running through his body. Atlantica would be a real issue for all involved. *I rub the back of my neck, chuckling nervously. I'll just leave out the small fact that I didn't write Sam being able to swim either. I mean, can he? I can but would that matter in this body? It's all so confusing.*
How long has it been since it ended? How long have been sitting in this empty white room. Can I stand yet? A knock at the door would bring me back to reality. I guess it was time to try at very least. My legs were still shaky but it had been long enough for them to at least hold me up for the moment. I'd make a slow disorganized shuffle towards the door finally. I wasn't sure what would happen upon opening it but...Perhaps it was time to leave. I'd try to open the door but with that attempt I'd find myself losing my balance once more. The palms of my hands would smash against the door as I tried to hold myself up. I still need a moment longer...
I nod to Walton as I step into the group discussion. Touching the brim of the get smoked hat as I listen along before chiming in. Shaking off the pain to get serious. Hm. I'm gonna be honest, it's been years since I last watched anime. The last one I watched I think was assassination classroom and I didn't even finish it. At any rate the current team is kinda lacking a front line. I don't mind heading out unless someone else wants to take my place.

"Alright, so far we got me, cait, PK, gin, and mona... Ted? You coming along too? Or are you gonna let the time chamber do its thing?" Wow, this group seems almost nostalgic to me. Sure it was from... The cringy days but these guys happened to work with me a lot, suprisingly. Guess its almost like a reunion, even if this isn't the most optimal way.

I'd finally come out from... Wherever the hell I've been sleeping, doesn't matter much. The point is I'm up and aware and actually feeling pretty good physically. Mentally is... Iffy, but I'd walk into the room and greet everyone with a wave regardless. "Yo, so you six huh? Fine with me, can get some training done I suppose if I don't end up going. On the other hand if you do end up needing someone who can actually take some hits and punch real hard, that's what I got to offer." I'd shrug slightly while glancing around the room, Yu is still in the room, Kaz... Not sure if he'd wanna go again, and Gamma's gone, Mal might wanna go? Maybe, but it doesn't matter unless we want to replace someone. Or Teddie won't go. "If Ted isn't in, you can count on me to tag along. Otherwise I'm staying here, unless anyone else really wants to potentially take his place? Of our only maybe needed replacements, it's probably me or Kaz who'd be most help in a fight. But I wouldn't call myself good for many other things."
I shake my head. "I'm coming along. I don't think the room is ready yet." I'm gonna get my friends out of this place by whatever means necessary, even if they don't agree with the methods. Is that your resolv- Yeah yeah, just shut up and let's do this shit for real.
"Ah, look who's come back from the dead." I awkwardly smile, half-heartedly raising my hand as if to wave to Tatsuya but waving so slowly it's hard to tell that's even what I was doing. "I'd certainly love to have you on our team, Tachan. But, looks like we got our six already. See ya later, I guess."

I'd nod to Ted with a slight wave and go stand near the door Yu had entered myself. "Right then, I'll stay here I guess. Maybe try and make contact with the spirit of my power... That could go badly, so I won't be doing it in here." The spirit of Water's Calamity has so far been quiet, which makes sense since that's partly the point of the Driver... But if I can get it to assist us I'll be far more effective after all, that much I'm sure of. "Kinda risky I'll admit, but could end up helping out a lot in the end if I have any luck with things so what the hell right? No sense chancing messing up the hotel itself though. Oh and, be careful out there alright? Something tells me it might be even more dangerous, and I don't want to hear about you guys ending up dead over and over." I am concerned, as would be clear in my tone. But nobody ever accused me of being a master of speaking to people in person so despite that tone the words themselves seem a bit stiff to me. Ah well, it got my point across. Probably. As for Mona's greeting... I just reply in a deadpan voice. "Mmm, I'm sure you would. But it isn't like you have any room. It'd be a shame if I were to replace someone else just so I can out twice in a row after all."

Walton takes out a key from one of the drawers attached to his desk and walks over to everyone. You took so long to decide that I began to think you were here to stay. Walton nonchalantly tosses the key to no particular person. Expecting someone to catch it. Then he walks next to the elevator and waits there for a final decision. The life you will enter is that of the humans. Take great care, humanity is familiar to all yet can still be full of surprises when you least expect it. All of you are a clear example of what humanity is capable of when left to its own devices. He gently taps on the shut elevator doors with a conflicted expression.

I walk out of the changing rooms, all dressed in Ina's kimono like usual. I at least attempt to catch the key on my way out, even if it doesnt go well and i end up hitting myself in the face with it. I pick it up and look at everyone whos going. "So I'd assume that we're gonna leave the key in the possession of the leader? Which, we havent decided who should be the leader yet. Definetly not me, im still not 100% used to this body, id say either PK or Cait personally." Dont get me wrong, i trust the others, but PK and Cait are honestly the most trustworthy to me. And now for our hint... "A world of humans... Some sort of slice of life? Nah, that would be a bit too easy from what I've heard about the world's we've been too, but he didnt say anything like super humans.... Is it gonna be .hack or something?"

“Who knows, maybe My Hero Academia? Wait, maybe SAO or .hack as you said. We’ll know when we get there.” Walton’s probably getting impatient. I’m getting antsy too. I start walking towards the door. “I’m not the best leader. We can think about that once we get the final team comp. Speaking of that, oi, Ted! If you take too long we’re ditching you!”

The elevator doors slide open allowing people to enter.

If it's MHA, it's likely we'll be fighting All For One and I think I'd rather go back and fight Laurence of Arabia, thanks kindly. *I stand up, hands in my coat pockets, and step forwards.* Either way, no point worrying now. We'll figure everything out when we're out there. Let's go.
I simply walk over to the elevator. "Let's get this done, shall we?" I step inside, waiting for everyone else to do the same.

Ah ha ha. So impatient. *I would shrug, shaking my head slghtly, before stepping into the elevator.*
I step inside the elevator. My tail tip waves as I wait for everyone to be set. Am I confident about this? Not really, but we’ll have to do our best. Maybe my inhuman body will give me an edge in this world. Huh. I never thought about me being a demon too much. Does that make me fodder? Nah, Cait’s a cut above ordinary mooks. Ordinary humans are lower on the food chain than demons anyway.
I enter the elevator "It's juice and jam time."

I, as well, enter. Time to get this show on the road
I shrug as I enter the elevator. All these animes mostly go over my head. Meanwhile I respond to the question of leader Eh. If it comes down to it I don't mind acting as one. Just don't expect too much out of me. I'm typically too focused on my own thing to contribute more.

The elevator doors close hiding Cait, Sam, Ina, Niko, Alphinaud, and Pancake Knight. When the doors open there is no one left inside. Walton disinterestedly says. Best of luck to all of you.
I'd finally have reached the door handle. I'd have to spend my time standing up straight but one I did, it was easy to use my weight to open the door. I wasn't sure what to expect on the other side. Maybe the others had left already. That was fine, the less people to notice my condition the better. I probably looked tired and worse off it might be obvious that my balance wasn't exactly good right now. That stuff didn't matter though, as long as I can stand I would.
